Olé!!! You want something different for you steak? Something with a little zing and plenty of flavor. Well here it is. Once you try this you will be looking for alternative methods of using this "rub".

Mexican bar-b-q rub

  • 2 teaspoons olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon ground red chilies or chili powder
  • 2 teaspoons dried oregano leaves
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground cumin
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground coriander
  • 1/8 teaspoon salt

Rub oil on 1 pound beef or chicken. Mix remaining ingredients and rub on meat.

Let sit for 30 minutes then grill meat to your liking.
