Misc. Cooking at its best with Johanne McInnis

This is a recipe taken from a bachelor friend of mine. He use to whip this up for his "friends", needless to say he's married now and I'm assuming it's because he's a good cook among other things. You be the judge. It's a great breakfast recipe and please share it with all your bachelor friends.

SCOTTY'S NEST EGGS

For each nest

  • 2-3 thin slices black forest ham
  • 1 egg
  • 1 tablespoon cream
  • 1 heaping teaspoon grated Swiss cheese
  • sprinkle of dried basil
  • English muffin

Preheat oven to 350F. Grease large muffin tins. Line with ham and break egg over top. Add cream and sprinkle with cheese and basil. Bake 12-15 minutes. Serve on half a toasted English muffin.

(Place water in any unused muffin cups to prevent damage to your pan)
