A native of Dalhousie, I have been involved with photography since nineteen seventy-seven and after a couple of years experimenting with different styles, I branched out into commercial work doing weddings and other types of photography. As time passed, I found myself drawn into the world of landscape, seascape and nature photography. Finding a measure of satisfaction and a more profound awareness of my surroundings, I now dedicate my time and my knowledge of photography to this fascinating enterprise.
I’m a member of the Chaleur Camera Club and also a member in good standing of the Restigouche Naturalist Club and I am also a contributing columnist for www.restigouche.net, our local website for the area.
I use both film and digital media as a means to accomplish my photos and find that both have their own particular characteristics, some good, some not so good, but both are excellent tools for this craft.
