Canada's National Emblem
Emblem of Canada, my native land,
And I shall ever gratefull be,
For the beauty God has painted,
On our stately Maple Tree.
Endless lessons, thou can teach,
For those who have the will to see,
And take God's gifts, within their reach,
Like thou, happy radiant, Maple Tree.
May the youth of this fair land,
Ever pattern lives like thee,
To live as clean, and sturdily stand,
As thou, our own dear Maple Tree
To live peacefully and live erect,
Stalwart strong, and conscience free,
With heavenly faith, our lives correct,
And be like thee, our Maple Tree.
Emblem of Canada, my native land,
I shall ever grateful be,
For the beauty God has painted,
On our stately Maple Tree.
