John "Jack" David Adams

John "Jack" David Adams passed away at the Regional Hospital in Campbellton, NB on March 22, 2016 at the age of 88.

Jack is survived by his wife Betty Cook and 3 sons: Jim (Sally), Bryce (Jean), Donald (Irene) and 4 daughters: Karen (Burns), Janice (Fernand), Helen and Kim (Brock). He is also survived by numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren. He was predeceased by his 1st wife Audrey, daughter Carolyn Dawn, sons Frankie and John, as well as grandson Ryan.

Isaac Barnaby

Passed away at the CLSC in Matapedia on March 23, 2016 at the age of 79, Mr. Isaac Barnaby of Listuguj, husband of the late Verbine Isaac, son of the late Genevieve Morrison and late John Barnaby. He was an Iron Worker and Carpenter.

He is survived by his daughters Dora Barnaby, Denise Barnaby, Mona Barnaby (Rene), Tracy Barnaby (Rodney) all of Listuguj, and his sons Roland Barnaby of Listuguj, Jeffery Barnaby (Tracy) of Campbellton, Brian Barnaby of Listuguj and Winston Barnaby (Tania) of Listuguj, as well as his loving partner Eunice Metallic of Listuguj. He is also survived by his grandchildren; Kenneth Isaac Barnaby, Aaron Barnaby, Ryan Barnaby, Nicholas Barnaby, Dakota Barnaby, Miranda Barnaby, Tara Lee Barnaby, Ashton Barnaby, Jordan Barnaby, Jacob Barnaby, Curtis Barnaby, Dominic Barnaby, Samson Barnaby, Jessica Barnaby, Aja Barnaby, as well as his great-grandchildren Ethan, Steve, Dean, Nixen, Darien, Diamond, Kinsley, Caylee and Aria, and many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his daughter Linda and his brothers Jackson, Eldan, Albert, Alex, Joe and Jim.

Hazel Bolton Boudreau

Passed away at the Campbellton Regional Hospital on March 20, 2016 at the age of 91 years young, Mrs. Hazel Bolton Boudreau of Campbellton, wife of the late (first husband) Gordon Ferguson and (second husband) Leonard Boudreau. Born in Broadlands, QC, on March 7, 1925, the daughter of the late Lunam Bolton and the late Loretta Firlotte.

She is survived by her sons, Gordon Ferguson, Aldric Boudreau and Bev Boudreau and her daughter, Arlene (Boudreau) Murray. Besides her husband, she was predeceased by her son, Gerald Ferguson.

Margaret Ann "Peggy" Grenier

Passed away at the Campbellton Regional Hospital on March 27, 2016 at the age of 57, Margaret Ann "Peggy" Grenier of Campbellton, wife of John Michael Grenier. Born in Campbellton on April 22, 1958, daughter of the late Donald Law and the late Elizabeth "Betty" Harvey.

She is survived by her husband, Michael; her sons, Ryan of Moncton, Christopher of Campbellton; her daughter, Melissa Grenier (Sean) of Cranbrook, BC; her brothers, Greg Law (Diane) of Campbellton, Bobby Law (Elaine) of Campbellton and Barry Hayden (Jennifer) of Prince Albert, SK; her sisters, Cindy Mabie (Kim) of Moncton and Sheona Adams (Troy) of Miramichi; her 2 grandchildren, Landon and Dominick and many nieces, nephews aunts and uncles.

Sean Mahoney

Passed away in Atholville on March 21, 2016 at the age of 43, Mr. Sean Mahoney of Tide Head.

He is survived by his common-law wife Danièle Vautour, his son Jacob Mahoney, his mother Irene Geraghty Mahoney, his sisters; Jennifer Mahoney (Alex) of Toronto, Stephanie Mahoney-Lurette (Jacques) of Campbellton and Angela Mahoney (George) of Toronto, as well as his nieces and nephews; Olivia, Danoucha, Zachary, Zakary, Malyka, Georgia, Oksana and Sam. He was predeceased by his father Ronald Francis Mahoney.

Irene Blanchard

Tuesday, March 22nd, 2016 at the Campbellton Regional Hospital, at the age of 97, passed away Mrs. Irene Blanchard of Atholville, wife of the late Jean-Eudes Blanchard. She was the daughter of the late Albertine (Aubé) and the late Amédée Doucet.

She will be sadly missed by her children: Jeannine (Gérard Jean) of Atholville, Gilles of Clarendon, NB, Suzanne of Montreal, Denis (Lise Levesque) of Moncton, Georges (Michelle Legacy) of Atholville, Mariette of Campbellton and Marc (Joanne Doucett) of Campbellton; her grandchildren : Nathalie, Andrée, Danny, Sophie, David, Eric and Marc-André and by many great-grandchildren; her brother and her sisters : Agathe of Montreal, Philippe (Micheline) of Montreal and Jeannette (Ned) of Atholville also by many nieces, nephews and friends.

She was predeceased by her husband Jean-Eudes, her sons: Rénald & Paul, her parents, her sister Marguerite, her brothers: William ‘Ti-Will’, Raymond ‘Super’ & Brad.

Lucien Lagacé

Lucien Lagacé, 83, of Atholville passed away on March 21, 2016 at the Campbellton Regional Hospital. Born in Matapedia Quebec he was the son of the late Emile Lagacé and the late Edna Francoeur.

He will be sadly missed by his children: Suzanne (Terry Lister) of Riverview, Guy of Campbellton, Jacques (Danielle) of Atholville; his grandchildren: Melanie, Caroline, Eric; his great granddaughter Isla; special friend Fernande Walters; his sisters, Rita (Alcide Chamberlain) of Atholville, Rolande of Montreal, Dorilda of Pointe-à-la Croix, Adrienne (Julien Maltais) of Campbellton; his brothers, Lorenzo (Yvonne) of Campbellton, Henri (Lise) of Montreal, Alban of Montreal; several nieces and nephews.

Robert Edward Wade (Bob)

Robert Edward Wade (Bob) age 83, died at the Campbellton Regional Hospital on Tuesday, March 22, 2016.

Bob was born March 25, 1932 in Campbellton to parents Lemuel and Lillian Wade. He was a retired C.N. Section Foreman who loved music and telling stories.

Bob leaves to mourn 2 brothers Mac and Jack, 3 sisters Shirley, Helen and Sharon, many nieces and nephews and sister-in-law Sandy. He was predeceased by his wife Jackie Firlotte.

Marjorie McAlister

The death of Marjorie McAlister of Bathurst and formerly of Nash Creek occurred Sunday, March 20, 2016 at the Chaleur Regional Hospital in Bathurst at the age of 81. Born in Nash Creek, she was the daughter of the late George and Margaret (Cook) Harvey.

"A dedicated Mother and Grandmother, Marjorie's family was her world. She enjoyed keeping up her home and especially Saturday trips to town with her Golden Girls. Nanny Marjorie truly lead by example. We will miss her deeply. Forever in our hearts."

Marjorie is survived by her children Dale LaPointe (Terry) of Bathurst, Donna Smith (Preston) of Bathurst, Wayne (Lois) of Jacquet River, Kelly Lavigne (Rick) of Bathurst; 10 grandchildren; 9 great grandchildren; brothers Donnie & Lloyd as well as her sisters Shirley LaPointe and Helen Killoran. She was predeceased by her brothers Jack and Wayne; half brothers Murray, Arnold, Leonard, Robert, Delbert; half sisters May, Viola, Muriel, Daisy and Hazel.

Eva Gallen

The death of Eva Gallen of Jacquet River occurred on March 26,2016 at the Campbellton Regional Hospital at the age of 85.Born in Lorne,she was daughter of the late Frank and Laura (Francoeur) Carrier.

Eva is survived by her husband Herman; sons Ernest (Monique) of Rimouski and Emery of Bathurst; daughter Dianna Legacy of Belledune;4 grandchildren;4 great grandchildren; brothers Murray and Joe and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her siblings Elric, Nora, Abraham, Elias, Donald, Stanley, Edgar, and son in law Albert Legacy.
