Gary Hachey

Passed away at the Campbellton Regional Hospital on February 16, 2013, after a lenghty illness, at the age of 89, Mr. Carl Hachey of Atholville.

Beloved husband of Sheila Hachey, father of Mona Matysik of Hamilton, ON., and Jamie Hachey of Atholville, grandfather of Tori, Jonathan, Kallyn and Braidon and brother Norvel Hachey of Atholville.

Special thanks to all the staff of the medical and rehab wards for all the kindness and care and all friends and family for their support and kindness.

Russell Albert Irvine

Passed away at the Campbellton Regional Hospital on February 17, 2013 at the age of 91. Russell resided at the Campbellton Village Nursing Hoome but was formerly of Mann's Settlement, QC. Born on April 10, 1921in Mann's Settlement, he was the son of the late Murdock Irvine and Mary Huntington.

He was employed with the Retigouche Salmon Club for 50 years.

Predeceased by his wife Wanda , son Auley, granddaughter Kim (MacDonald) Stewart, sisters Bertha Harvey and Isobel Mann and brother Murdock Jr.

He leavess to mourn his daughters Corella (EArl) MacDonald, Jacqueline (Don) Andrew, his son Russie (Trudy), his brother Graydon, sisters Helena Lyons and Marina Payne, sister-in-law Gladys Irvinne. Russell also leaves behind his seven grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren, many nieces and nephews.

Rene "Pete" Berthelot

Passed away at the Campbellton Regional Hospital on FEbruary 14, 2013 at the age of 83, Mr. Rene "Pete" Berthelot of Campbellton.

He leaves to mourn his brother Real Berthelot (Marie-Reine) of Quebec, his sisterss Jeanne Cormier of Balmoral and Helene Berthelot of Montreal. Also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Predeceased by his wife Therese Aubie.

Leeland (Bud) Pollock

Leland (Bud) Pollock, 82 years old passed away peacefully on February 19, 2013, from the Campbellton Regional Hospital.

He will now join his beloved wife Linda Pollock who passesd away on February 1, 2013. May they both rest in peace.

Lloyd MacLean
1929- 2013

It is with great sadness we announce the death of Lloyd MacLean on February 13, 2013 at the age of 83. Husband of the late Donalda Gilmore MacLean and son of Wilfred and Myrtle MacLean

He will be sadly missed by his son, Gary (Denise Boissonneault), daughters Nancy (Mile Gallie), Darla (Billy Audfroid), brother Reg and sister Wendy. Dearly loved by grandchildren Ryan Michael, Jennifer, Jeffrey, Keith, Kelly and Cody, great-granddaughters Hailey and Alexa.

Predeceased by his wife Donalda, son Brian, grandson Derek, sister Lois and brothers Frank and Donald.

Pallbearers were Bobby and Jason Carter, Billy Audfroid and Mike Gallie.

Lena Rioux (Gionet)

It is with deep sadnesss that we announce the passing of our mother Lena Rioux. She is predeceased by Ronald, her husband of 46 years.

She is survived by her children Diane, Nora, Paul and Richard, her eight grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren as well as her sister Dora.

Mom was born in Campbellton and was its resident her entire life. Before she became ill, she was active in the commuunit, offering her services both as volunteer in Palliative Care and as Eucharistic Minister at the Regional Hospital, in earlier years, she helped as a teacher's assistant.

She was well-known as a gifted actress in the local theatre group, Friends and Company. She also participated in the St Patrick's Day plays at the St Thomas Aquinas Church. She played tennis, enjoyed bowling and was a llover of nature. Her favourite passtime was doing Will Shortz crossword puzzles. she loved a challenge and enjoyed a good game of Scrabble as well as Bridge.

Our most heartfelt gratitude to all who assisted her in ther time of need and final days, most especially to Nora, her main caregiver, for the tender, compassionate and loving attention she gave Mom. Our Mom will be dearly missed and her absence will be greatly felt.

Donna Margaret Firth

Passed away at the Campbellton Regional Hospital on February 5, 2013 at the age of 77, Mrs Dona Margaret Firth nee Law.

Dona resided for most of her adult life in Robinsonvville. She raised four children and always put her family before herself. She taught school for 26 years and only retired due to health issues. She loved to read, it was her passion. She had faith, that was always her guide through her 77 years on earth. She will be missed by her family with every breath we take.

She lelaves to mourn her daughter Nancy Glidden (Timothy) of Alberta, her sons Michael Firth of Robinsonville and Kelly Firth (Gloria) of Ontario, her sisters Verna Murray (Harve) of Tide Head and Joan Wood of Ontario, sisters-in-law Sue Mann of Robinssonville and Mary Parker (Cecil) of Robinssonville. Also survived by her grandsons Neale, Tyler, Justin and Robbie, granddaughters Leanna, Madison, Alicia and Ashley, great-grandchildren; Taylon, Logan and Jaxon, nieces Ava (Ronnie), Peggy (Mike), Cindy (Kim), nephewss Kevin (Carmen), Frankie (Judy), Greg (Diane), Bobby (Elaine), many great nieces and nephews.

Predeceased by her husband Eugene, son Peter, mother Gertrude Mann, brother Donald, father Frank, mother-in-law Beulah, sister-in-law Betty, niece Mina and baby brother Tommy.

Irene Mitchell

The sudden death of Irene Mitchell occurred on January 19, 2013 at the Montreal General Hospital. Born in Atholville, she was the daughter of the late Gus and Ella Richard.

She leaves to mourn her husband of 30 years Ian, sons Mario (Sandra), Robert (Shelly), granddaughter Melissa, grandsons Ryan and Kevin. Also her three sisters Margaret, Pauline, Jeannie and brothers Maurice and Bert.

To my family at Wal-Mart, thank you uvery much for your kindness, it will never be forgotten.

Germaine Blaquiere

Saturday, February 16th, 2013 at the Campbellton Regional Hospital, passed away at the age of 84, Mrs. Germaine Blaquiere of Cross Point and formerly of Atholville. She was the daughter of the late Evangeline and the late Ferdinand Blaquiere.

She will be sadly missed by her children: Malcolm (Ghislaine Carrier) of Atholville, Claude (Noella Perron) of Atholville, Nicole of Cross Point & Paulo (Debbie LePoidvin) of Moncton; her grandchildren : Pierrot (Beverly) of Moncton, Regis of Morris, Manitoba, Denis of Campbellton & Barry of Cross Point; her step-grandsons: Daniel, Peter & Marco and 3 great-grandchildren; her brother Rosario of Atholville; her sisters: Patricia (Rod LeBlanc) of Atholville, Therese of Cross Point & Colette of Campbellton also by many members of the LeBlanc & Mallais family, nieces, nephews and friends.

She was predeceased by her first husband Damien LeBlanc, second husband Francis Mallais; by her parents, her sisters: Yvette, Yvonne & Edna and her brothers: Paul, Theodule, Hector & Jean.
