Born in Nouvelle, he was the son of the late Georges Williamson and the late Louise Bernier, and was the husband of the late Thérèse Allard, passed in 2003.

Dada, worked as a construction worker and painter for many years.

He had many passions and hobbies:

He loved working in his garden every year. He planted many flowers of all kinds and colors, and kept busy keeping his flower beds beautiful.

He enjoyed his woodworking projects in his shop.

Our father was an amazing cook, like no other I have known.

He also enjoyed his little chicken coop with hens and roosters. They were much more than just that to him, they were his buddies.

He loved his cat (Charlie) and his dog (Fille) that kept him company for many years.

He looked forward to the hockey season and the playoffs with his grandson Shayne, cheering on for the Montreal Canadians.

Always looked forward to his nightly phone calls with his son Wayne.

He looked forward to his visits with Schae , and never missed a day without telling us how much he loved us.

Last but not least, our father was a Grand Ole Opry fan.

With his guitar and cowboy hat, he always found an occasion to sing some Hank Snow, Wilf Carter etc. for his many friends and family.

One of his biggest joys was his birthday, every year with us. He enjoyed choosing his favorite meal and together we would laugh and take pictures, and he loved opening his gifts with such a huge smile and appreciation. It is one occasion that will never be forgotten.

Georges is survived by his 3 children, Dale ( Pierre Renault ), Wayne (Joann), Guy ( Debbie Williamson ), 5 grandchildren and one sister, Rita Senechal, of Balmoral.

He is sadly missed.
