Violet Long-Manning

February 18th, 2013 at the Campbellton Regional Hospital at the age of 62, passed away Mrs. Violet Long-Manning of Campbellton.

She will be sadly missed by her dauhters; Lorraine (Bill Sheppard) of New York, Connie (and her spouse) of Toronto, Jennifer (Tim O'Connor) of Edmonton and Cynthia (Sylvain Francoeur) of Val d'Amour her grandchildren; Alex, Austin, Korey (Nanny's little bonhomme), Nathan, Rebecca, Jonathan, Joshua, Joel and Alycia (Nanny's little princess), great-granddaughter Ember. She is also survived by her mother, several sisters, brothers, nieces, nephews, and many friends.

William Everett McKinnon

Everett passed away at his home on February 27, 2013 at the age of 91. He was born in Campbellton on December 15, 1921.

After the war, Ev lived in Tide Head and worked at Fraser Mill where he retired as Manager. He leaves to mourn his wife of 71 years, Theresa, daughters Daria (Owen) Firth, Judy Pickering, Sandra (Ron) Kuwabara, Debbie (Arnold) Germain and son Brian (Holly) McKinnon, nice grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.

He was predeceased by his daughter Brenda and his grandson Adam Germain.

Ev was a member and Past Master of Campbellton Masonic Lodge, Past Patron of Lady Alexander Chapter Order of the Eastern Star, Past Grand Patron of the Grand Chapter of N.B. member of Luxor Shrine Temple and a 32nd degree Scottish Rite Mason. He was also a member of the Scottish Association of N.B.

An Eastern Star, Legion and Masonic service was held on Sunday March 3rd .

Joshua "Josh" D. Gauthier

Johua "Josh" D. Gauthier, 35, of Moncton, passed away at his residence on February 27, 2013. Born in Jacquet River, he was the son of Patricia (Doyle) Doucet (Rick) of Belledune and Louis Gauthier (Sophia) of Belledune.

Josh was a meat cutter at Costco, with over six years service. He loved playing music, especially the guitar, singing, hunting, painting, graphic design, art and jui jitsu. Josh enjoyed his two cats, "Smittens" and "Smokey" and spending time with family and friends.

In addition to his mother and father Josh will be sadly missed by his loving wife and best friend of over 16 years, Leona (Duplessis) Gauthier, his cherished children, Kamron and Paris, both at home; brothers, Jason (Andrea) of Moncton and Cody of Belledune; sister, Olivia of Belledune, one niece, four nephews and several other extended family members.

Anita Doucet
1909-2013

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Anita Doucet (Essiembre) of the Campbellton Village Nursing Home. She passed away March 2, 2013 at the age of 103 on the Palliative Care Unit of the Campbellton Regional Hospital. She was born May 12, 1909 in Dundee, daughter of the late Pierre Essiembre and Marie Leclerc.

She is survived by four daughters Anna essiembre (late Armand) of McLeods NB, Delima Jardine (Guy) of Saint John NB,Rita Lloyd (Claude) of Brampton ON., and Alida "Chummy" Ward (Neil Hamilton) of Campbellton, three sisters Emerentienne Leblanc of New Richmond, Delphine Caissie of St Simeon and Delima Babin of Cap de la Madeleine a brother Edgar Essiembre of Eel River Crossing, 11 grandchildren, 11 great grandchildren and 4 grandchildren and 4 great great grandchildren.

Anita was predeceased by her husband Walter, her daughter Marie Anita, her grandson, Dale Jardine, her sister Lucille Leblanc, her seven brothers Alexandre, William, Pierre, Omer, Mathieu, Edmond and Amable.
