Madeline Daigle
The death of Madeline Daigle of Belledune occurred at the Darlington Manor Sunday, April 26, 2015 at the age of 92. Born in Belledune, she was the daughter of the late Mr. & Mrs. Norman Guitard.
Madeline is survived by her son Aurele (Jacqueline) of Belledune; granddaughter Amanda Daigle-Louis; great-granddaughters Denver and Morgan as well as her sisters Dorina, Vicki and Florence. She was predeased by her husband Arthur; sister Delia and brothers Theodore, Wilbert, Leo and Telesphore.
Laurette Doucet
The death of Laurette Doucet of Bathurst and formerly of Lorne, which occurred at the Chaleur Regional Hospital, Bathurst on Thursday, April 4th, 2015 at the age of 66. She was the daughter of the late William and late Gertrude Esligar.
She is survived by her children: Tom, Glen and Diane; her grandchildren: Justin, Erin, Lacey & Genna; her brothers: Durbin and Claude; her sisters: Lucinda, Florence, Geraldine, Albertine, Adeline and Pauline.
Besides her parents, she was predeceased by her sister Martha.
Edward "Eddie" Guitard
The death of Edward Guitard of Dalhousie occurred at the Campbellton Regional Hospital on Tuesday, April 7th, 2015 at the age of 64, husband of Dawne Guitard. Born in Dalhousie, he was the son of Mrs. Shirley (Poirier) and the late Jack Guitard.
Besides his wife Dawne, he is survived by his children: Trina Guitard, Marcy Guitard (Sean) & Kyle Guitard (Megan), his grandchildren: Corey, Alexa, Zac, Kalem, Morgan, Jade & Keely; his brothers & sister: Mark, Jim (Sylvie), Kirk (Mary-Ann) & Marjorie also by many nieces, nephews and friends.
Eddie was an employee of the Town of Dalhousie for over 40 years and instrumental in the implementation of state of the art quality drinking water system and sewage filtration. He was an avid golfer, active in many sports in his youth, passionate grandfather, and enjoyed travelling with Dawne in later years.
Ronald "Ron" Henderson
Passed away at the Campbellton Regional Hospital on April 9, 2015 at the age of 67, Ronald "Ron" Stewart Henderson of Campbellton, son of Marjorie Ronalds Trites and the late Wallace Henderson.
He leaves to mourn his mother Marjorie Ronalds Trites, his brothers Dr. John Henderson of Miramichi, David (Lori) Henderson of Dalhousie Junction, his sister-in-law Cindy Henderson of Fredericton. He is also survived by 1 nephew, Ian, 1 niece, Hanna and many cousins.
He was predeceased by his father, Wallace Henderson, his sisters, Janet and Ann, and his brother Gary.
James "Bruce" Miller
The death of James “Bruce” Miller of Dalhousie occurred at
the Campbellton Regional Hospital Saturday, April 25, 2015
at the age of 74. Born in Kerrobert, Saskatchewan, he was the
son of Andrew Jackson and Violet Daisy (Hails) Miller of
Superb, Saskatchewan and Blackland, New Brunswick.He
was predeceased by his brother Don of Medicine Hat,
Alberta.
He is survived to cherish his memory by his brothers Bob of
Edmonton, Alberta and Ian of Kerrobert, Saskatchewan. And
by his very dear cousin Sandra Dickie of Charlo.
He was raised on a wheat farm and educated in nearby
Superb and in Kerrobert High School .
When he was growing up Bruce was a typical prairie boy,
loving to play in and enjoy the wonderful outdoors. Although
when very young he and his brothers huddled in their beds on
a cold winter night shaking in fear of the coyotes howling as
they surrounded the house.
He lived for a while in Edmonton where he married Juan
(Joanne) Osenchuk and reared 3 children Keith-Lynn, Daryl,
and Carey. He moved to Vancouver where he worked most of
his adult life. When his parents became ill he relocated to
Blackland where he served as their caretaker 24/7. He
enjoyed the company of his many “new” relatives and friends
in New Brunswick. Following their passing he moved into
Dalhousie. Medically his last years were difficult for him.
Bruce loved live and was generous. He had a great sense of
humour and his laughter was infectious. With his good
memory he could always be counted on to remember
someone’s name or an event that the rest of us had long lost
from our memories
Bloyce Allan Court
On April 26th, 2015, Mr. Bloyce Allan Court of Edson, Alberta passed away at the age of 79 years.
He is survived by his companion Jeannie of Edson, Alberta and his daughters: Peggy (Ken) Court of Edson, Alberta, Maureen (Ted) Zielke of Blairmore, Alberta and their children Candace (Issac), Randy (Terri) all of Red Deer, Alberta, Cory (Christine) and Zachary all of Edmonton, Alberta; Shelley (Shayne) Whitnack and children Ashley (Lawrence), Devin, Danyka, Dustin, Dawson and Avery all of Edson, Alberta, Minnie’s husband Bert Jager and their children Megan (Jeremy) all of Blairmore, Alberta, Jennifer of Lethbridge, Alberta, and Kristopher (Emelia) of Okotoks, Alberta
Also surviving is his brother Evan (Roberta) Court and their son Dale along with granddaughter Nicole of Niagara Falls, Ontario.
There are numerous great grandchildren, relatives and a host of friends left to mourn.
Bloyce was predeceased by his wife Phyllis in 2007 and his daughter Mary Lynn Jager in 2013 as well as his parents Herbert and Elizabeth Court and his brother Beverly in infancy.
Flora Hickey
The death of Flora Hickey of Jacquet River occured Tuesday,April 21,2015 at the Campbellton Regional Hospital at the age of 86.Born in Benjamin River,she was the daughter of the late David and Mary (Boudreau) Gallen.
Flora was a long time member of the C.W.L.and an active member of St.Gabriels Church.She was a past president of the Jacquet River Golden Age Club and loved to bowl and play cards.
Flora is survived by her son Robert (Glenda) of Jacquet River;daughters Angela Hickey (Rae) of Jacquet River and Darlene McGregor (Michael) of Jacquet River.She is also survived by her 6 grandchildren Todd,Chris,Darla,Ryan,Helen and Candace;greatgrandaughters Scarlett and Layla;greatgrandson Owen as well as her sisters Priscilla Arseneault and Shirley Maltais.She was predeceased by her husband Morven and brothers Raymond,Ralph and Lawrence.
Frances Letourneau (nee Harquail)
It is with great sadness that the family of Frances (Harquail) Letourneau announce her passing after a lengthy illness. Frances was born in Dalhousie on July 18, 1934 to the late Joseph and Adrienne (Blanchard) Harquail.
She leaves to mourn her devoted husband of 58 years, Guy, her loving children, Anthony (Lise), Chris (Joyce), Derek (Sonia), Jason (Josee Rouleau) and Kirby, her beloved grandchildren, Jennifer Gauthier (Luke), Stephanie (Shawn Couture), Jonathan (Veronic Malley), Jeremy and great-grandchildren Lauren, Avery, Joel and Jayden. Frances is also survived by her sisters Joyce Legacy (Valmond ), Dianne Tappan (Dave), brothers Charlie (Yvette), Jarvis (Evelyn), Gordon, as well as brothers and sisters in-law and many nieces and nephews, all of whom held a very special place in her heart. Besides her parents, she was predeceased by her sisters Jean Carter and Mona Sullivan.
Frances touched the lives of many through her dedication as a Girl Guide leader, volunteer for the Meals on Wheels Program, as well as through her love of singing and music while she was a member of the Chaleur Echoes and the St. John Bosco church choir.
Her family would like to thank the staff of the Dalhousie Nursing Home for the compassion and excellent care given to Frances.
