Rosilda Bourque
The death of Rosilda Bourque of 69 Sister Green Road, Campbellton,
widow of Armand Bourque , occurred at the Campbellton Regional
Hospital on September 28. She was 66. Born in Campbellton on December 26,
1934, she was the daughter of the late Alphonse and Corinne (Coutanges)
McGrath.
She was a member of the Catholic Women's League and an active member
of the Royal Canadian Legion Ladies Auxiliary.
She is survived by a daughter Lise (Larry) Lavoie of Moncton,
eight sons, Pierre (Wendy) of Edmonton, Michel of Campbellton, Leopold of
Edmonton, Marc, (Noella) of Campbellton, Gilles of Moncton
and Luc of Campbellton. Grandchildren Danielle, Rene, Jonathan, Suzanna,
Amy, Nathalie, Natasha, and Marc Jr., great-grandchildren Jared and Clarissa,
sisters Rose-Marie (Roland) Pitre, Doreen (Abe) Wiebe, Marlene (Bill) Shalala and
brothers Harry (Isabelle) McGrath,Arthur (Mona) McGrath, Leopold (Vicky) McGrath.
and Hector (Rolande) McGrath.
The funeral was held from St., Thomas Aquinas Church on Oct. 1 with Father Wesley Wade
officiating.
Internment was in Our Lady of Snow's Cemetery. Funeral arrangements were in the care
of Maher's Funeral Home, Campbellton.
Glenford Arthur Vincent Thompson
The death of Glenford Arthur Vincent Thompson of Dawsonville, N.B.
occurred September 25, 2001 at the Campbellton Regional Hospital.
He was born in Dawsonville on August 15, 1932 to the late
Mr. and Mrs. Hiram Thompson.
He worked as a heavy equipment operator, belonged to the United Church
and was an avid outdoorsman.
He is survived by his wife Lillian Thompson, Dawsonville,
son Gary (Gail) Squaw Cap, sister Marina Cooling (Stirling) Dawsonville
and granddaughterNatalie Thompson.
Funeral services were held at Maher's Funeral Chapel. Campbellton
on September 28, 2001 with Rev. Kraglund officiating. Internment in
the Dawsonville Cemetery.
Pallbearers were David Firth, Randy Thompson, Brian Thompson,
Harry Cooling, Kevin Mann and Allison Cooling.
Funeral arrangements were in the professional care of Maher's Funeral
Home, Campbellton.
Omer Valley
The death of Omer Valley of 393 Renfrew Street, Dalhousie, occurred at
St. Joseph's Hospital, Dalhousie on September 28 2001, at the age of 86.
He was born in Darlington on October 3, 1914 to the late James Valley
and Rose Delima Allain.
He worked as a pipefitter for N.B.I.P. He is survived by his wife Evangeline
(Poirier) Valley, his daughter Anne Savoie (Luc) of Orleans, Ontario, his sons
James Valley (Alice) of Charlo, and Andre Valley (Suzanne) of Ship-Shaw , Quebec.
his brother Albert Valley of Vancouver, his grandchildren Marco Valley, Michel Valley,
Natalie Savoie and Danielle Savoie and his great-grandchildren Chloe, Isabelle,
Gabrielle and Anika.
Funeral services were held October 1 from St. John the Baptist Church, Dalhousie
with Rev. Yvon Doiron officiating. Internment was in the parish cemetery.
Funeral arrangements were in the care of Maher's Funeral Home, Dalhousie.
Henry G. Campbell
Henry G. Campbell, 77 of Riverview and formerly of Dalhousie Junction passed
away at the Dr. Georges Dumont Hospital Moncton on Wednesday, September 26, 2001.
Born in Richardsville, he was the son of the late Irvine and Alice (Cochrane) Campbell.
Henry was retired from N.B.I.P. Company Ltd. He attended the United Church, was a member
of Restigouche Lodge #25 F.&A.M. Dalhousie Chaleur Chapter #17 O.E.S. Dalhousie and was
affiliated with Frank H. Tingley #5 O.E.S. Moncton. He was a former member of Chatham
and Douglastown Lions Clubs.
Henry will be sadly missed by his daughter Kaye Kervin (Don), Moncton, sons Tom (Edwina)
Irvine, New Canaan. Robert (Linda) Tutle Creek, and Ronald, Riverview, grandchildren
Richard, Kimberly, Tom Jr., Martin, Caitlin, Devin,Matthew,Andrew, Ashley, Amanda,
and Magen, several nieces and nephews.
Besides his parents, he was predeceased by his wife Annie (MacDonald) Campbell 1984,
his daughter Ivy Campbell -Belyea (April 2000), sisters Armina, Opel, Thelma and Cora and
brother Whitney.
Funeral services were held from First United Church, Campbellton, on Saturday September 29. Internment in the Campbellton Rural Cemetery. Funeral arrangements were in the professional care of Maher's Funeral Home, Campbellton.

Thomas S. Blanchard passed away peacefully
at home in Ottawa , Friday, September 28,
2001 in his 67th year.
Beloved husband of Mae Blanchard,
loving father of Grant (Karen), James (Kathryn)
and Cathy (Mike Hamilton). Cherished
grandfather of Cameron, Mitchell, Emma and
Thomas. Dear brother of Gregory and James
Blanchard and Jane Sutton. Fondly remembered
by many nieces, nephews and friends.
Predeceased by his parents Mary and Leo
Blanchard and his sister Catherine Moore.
