Wendell Firlotte

The death of Wendell Firlotte of Dalhousie, which occurred at the Dalhousie Nursing Home on Wednesday, April 9th, 2014 at the age of 91.

Beside his wife Mona he is survived by his children: Brenda, Eric (Betty), Wanda (Allan) and Kirk (Dixie); his grandchildren: Dana, Scott, Jamie, Megan, Erin, Zack and Alyssa; his great grandchildren; his brothers: Bev (Anne) and Fred (Kay); his sister-in-law Eileen, brother in law Marc Nadeau; also by many nieces, nephews and friends

He was predeceased by his parents, brother Dwayne and sister Bunny.

As a veteran of the Second World War, Wendell served in England, France, Holland, Germany and almost two years in Italy. After the war, he became very involved in veterans causes.

For 35 years he worked for the woodlands division of the Canadian International Paper Company in Dalhousie and retired in 1986. Hockey and baseball were favorite past time, playing senior baseball for the Dalhousie Dodgers. Wendell was Chairman of the N.B. Liquor Board, the first Chairman of the Dalhousie sports Hall of Fame, President of Branch 17 of the Legion in Dalhousie, President of the Legions NB Command, President of the Past Provincial Presidents's Association of the legion, Board of directors of the Charlo Airport, Chairman of the Dalhousie Nursing Home. Being a very staunch liberal he at one time was the President ofthe Restigouche Liberal ridong.

Edna Margaret (Dempsey) Goodine

he death of Mrs. Edna (Dempsey) Goodine a resident of the Dalhousie Nursing Home and formerly of Jacquet River occurred peacefully at the Campbellton Regional Hospital on Wednesday, April 9th, 2014 at the age of 91. Born in Mitchell Settlement, she was the youngest daughter of the late Jim (James) Dempsey and late Margaret Ann Brown.

She is survived by her children: Jim, Susan (Bobby) and Brenda (Raymond); her grandchildren: Danny, Kim, Darryl and Tracy; her great grandchildren: Devon, Sydney and Ashley; her daughters-in-law and many nieces, nephews and friends

She was predeceased by her parents, beloved sons Robert and Gussy (Len), long life companion Manuel and her brothers & sisters: Annie, Eldric, Tess, Alfred & Benny.

Janet Gertrude Mann (Stewart)

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Janet Gertrude Mann (Stewart) at the Charlotte County Hospital on April 11, 2014 surrounded by family and friends. Janet was born on February 26, 1946 in Pleasant Ridge to the late Alfred and Vivian (Noddin) Stewart.

Janet is survived by her husband Ben Vienneau, sons Troy (Chantal) of Fredericton and Jason (Jessie) of Campbellton graddaughters Madison and MacKenzie, sister Emily Wight (Jeff) of Massachusetts, her very special aunts Annie Mcleod (George) and Lillian Tracey along with nieces, a nephew, cousins and many close friends.

Besides her parents she was predeceased by her sister Betty, her two brothers Harley and Vincent and her in-laws Borden and Dorothy Mann.

Arnold William Lyons

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Arnold William Lyons at the Campbellton Regional Hospital on April 15, 2014 at the age of 88. Born in Mann Settlement, he was the son of the late Albert Irvine and the late Effie Lyons.

Arnold will be sadly missed by his granddaughter Katelynn Draper: his great-granddaughter Naomi; his brother Daryl (Barb) Irvine of Campbellton and sister Vergie (Louis) Paradis of Penetanguishene, ON; and many family and friends.

He was predeceased by his wife Norma; children Sheila and Baby Lyons; and siblings Billy, Maxine, Florence, ethel, Daphne, Lorna and Watson.

Arnold was a loyal employee of General Motors for 34 years and served his country in the Second World War.

A special thank you to the staff at the Campbellton Regional Hospital and to the Royal Canadian Legion Branch No. 19.

Beatrice Parker

The death of Beatrice Parker of campbellton occurred peacefully at home on April 15th at the age of 89. Born in Campbellton on January 7, 1925, she was the daughter of the late Alonzo LeBoeuf and Lucy Desroches.

She is survived by her sons Jackie (Yvette) Ronnie (Adrienne), Wayne (Debbie), Gary (Patsy), Georgie (Lisa), Terry (Lise), daughters Joan (Aubrey) Firth, Carol Ann (Lionel) Harquail, Heather (Pierrot), Gail (Derrick) Maxwell. Also survived by her 23 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.

Predeceased by her husband Ronald, daughter Kay, brothers George and Bill Miller and her granddaughter April.

Brian Hennigar

Passed away at South Lake Regional Health Centre on Monday, April 14, 2014 in his 49th year.

Dear brother of James, Richard, Kevin and Glen. Predeceased by his parents Neenie and Donald Hennigar and brothers Terry and David. Loving nephew of Dorothy Weedon of Keswick, Betty Hennigar, Elizabeth Hennigar, Shirley Lehto, Peggy Theriault and Frances Carrier. Special cousin of Cathy King Ward of Keswick.

Brian will be sadly missed by his friends at the Port Bolster Baptist Church, his Monday night Euchre group in Keswick, and his friends from Pembroke as well as his many cousins, nieces, nephews, family and friends
