James Robert Hamilton

James “Robert” passed away peacefully at home after a short illness.

Robert was a member of the Campbellton Speed-Demons as a teenager. He was also a member of the Royal Canadian Legion and was a Greyhound driver for over 20 years. Robert will be missed by many family and friends.

Robert is survived by his sister Sheila and her husband Gerd Trefzger; niece Lisa Clarke; grandnephews Aidan and Cohen; as well as many cousins. He was predeceased by his parents Ralph and Anita (nee Keays) Hamilton.

In keeping with Robert’s wishes, a private service will be held at a later date in New Brunswick. Condolences may be forwarded through www.mcinnisandholloway.com.

Irene Savoie

Saturday, May 23rd, 2015 at the Campbellton Regional Hospital, at the age of 86, passed away Mrs Irene Savoie of the Campbellton Sugarloaf Manor, wife of the late Henri Savoie. She was the daughter of the late Emelda (Paulet) and late Edgar Normandeau.

She will be sadly missed by her brother Gérald Normandeau of Campbellton; her sisters: Patricia Boudreau of Ottawa and Constance Brae (Gerry) of Moncton also by many nieces, nephews and friends.

Mrs Irene Savoie worked as a registered nurse for 40 years and was involved in several organizations in the community.

She was predeceased by her parents; her sisters: Rita, Beatrice, Cecile and Florence.

Raymond A. MacDougall

Sunday, May 10th, 2015, at the Campbellton Regional Hospital, at the age of 85, passed away Mr. Raymond MacDougall of the Campbellton Village Nursing Home. He was the son of the late Nellie (Parker) and late Alexander MacDougall.

He will be sadly missed by his daughter Sharon Archibald of Campbellton; his brother Thomas MacDougall of Atholville also by Roxanne Fair, Norman Fair and Irene Fair as he was a father figure to them also by many nieces, nephews and friends.

Rheal Lapointe

The death of Rheal LaPointe of Lorne occurred at the Bathurst Regional Hospital Thursday, May 14, 2015 at the age of 60. Born in Lorne, he was the son of Peter and the late Albina (Godin) LaPointe.

Rheal is survived by his wife Linda; daughters Nanette LaPointe (Philippe Michaud) of Sudbury, Antoinette Doucette (Curtis) of Sudbury; sons Renald LaPointe (Katie) of Bathurst, Mark Drouin (Linda) of Edmonton, Michael Drouin (Coleen) of Halifax, Matthew Drouin (Veronica) of Bathurst; his father Peter; 15 grandchildren as well as his siblings Roland, Pierette, Camille,Rolande, Ovila, Marie Blanche, Patrick, Marcel, Noella, Etienne, Hermel, Colette and Nicole. He was predeceased by his mother and brother Alvin.
