Gregory Crook

CROOK, Gregory in his 65th year, on June 1, 2015, of cancer after a lifetime of chronic illnesses. Predeceased by parents Gilbert and Doris Crook [Havelock] and brother Philip [Manotick]. Survived by brother Hugh [Beth] Frankford, sister Cathy Mondello [Carman] Havelock and brother Art [Julie] Norwood. Also survived by several nieces and a great nephew. He had a varied career as a professional forester [QC, NB, ON, MB], working for forest industry and the Canadian Forest Service. (Natural Resources Canada) He was an editor and translator [French-English], and did technical writing and published articles in forestry magazines. Lifelong practitioner of Kriya yoga [P. Yogananda]

Grace Iva Osgood

Passed away at the Village Nursing Home on June 2 at the age of 102, Mrs. Iva Grace Roix, formerly of Atholville. Born in Fort Fairfield Maine, she was the daughter of the late Elizabeth Hutcheon and step daughter of the late Joe Roix.

Iva was a home maker and noted for her home cooking. She was a lifetime member of UCW.

She is survived by son Robert (Claire) New Glasgow, NS, daughter Helen (aston ) Comeau , Ajax, Ont., grandchildren Robyn, Kelly, Steven, Timothy, Michelle and eight great grandchildren.

She was predeceased by her husband of 57 years, Harry, and sisters Helen and Josephine.

Emery Russell

The death of Emery Russell of Dalhousie occurred at the Campbellton Regional Hospital Saturday,June 06,2015 at the age of 87.Born in Barachois,Gaspe,he was the son of the late Edmond Russell and Bridgette (Thompson).

He was employed at the mill in Dalhousie for 40 years and was well known for his great sense of humour.

Emery is survived by his son Eugene (Pat) of Wainwright,Alberta;daughters Evelyn Philips (Maurice) of Dalhousie and Brenda Russell (Michel) of Dalhousie.He is also survived by his 7 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren as well as his sister Glenda Esliger and brother Eddy.Besides his parents,he was predeceased by the love of his life Evelyn and brother Carl.

Judith Lynn Watling

It is with great sadness that we, the family of Judith Lynn Watling of Campbellton, N.B., announce her passing on Sunday, June 7, 2015 at the Georges Dumont Hospital in Moncton, N.B. at the age of 54.

Born in Bathurst, N.B., Judy was the daughter of the late John A. & Verna M. (Ronalds) Watling. Judy graduated from Bathurst High School in 1978 and went on to study at NBCC Saint John where she graduated as a Medical Laboratory Technologist. After graduation she worked for several years in Yellowknife, N.W.T. before moving to Campbellton, N.B. to work in the lab at the Campbellton Regional Hospital. She is survived by one sister, Sandra (Edward) Boone of Bathurst.

One nephew, Jeffrey (Deneen) Pentland; one niece, Meaghan (Ryan) Wilbur; two great nieces, Michaela Pentland and Brynn Wilbur and and one great-nephew, Kellan Wilbur. She is also survived by one aunt, Thyrza Humphreys and one uncle, Arlice Ronalds and many cousins.

Rita White

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our mother, Rita White (Leblanc) of Bathurst, New Brunswick at the age of 82. Rita passed away peacefully at the Chaleur Regional hospital on June, 3rd 2015 surrounded by loved ones.

Rita was born in Balmoral, New Brunswick and was the daughter of Arthur and Florida (Levesque) Leblanc.

Rita is survived by her four daughters: Gloria, Diane, Sylvie (Charlie), Arleen (Larry) and two sons: Stephen (Arleen) and Michael (Rose), Her thirteen grandchildren: Patrick, Jennifer, Sasha, Robyn, Allison, Jessica, Melanie, Joshua, Matthew, Danielle, Heavyn, Trinity, Oceanna and seven great grandchildren: Molly, Gavin, Bailey, Griffyn, Logan, Lyric, Faryn as well as her sister Aline Girard of Campbellton NB.

Rita was predeceased by her husband John White, and fourteen brothers and sisters.

To her caregivers (Angels), thank you for stepping into this incredibly tough role with such dedication. Rosanne Steeves, Jennifer Lavigne, Extra Mural staff, hospital staff and the student nurses.
