The death of Adeline Guitard of Belledune occurred at the Villa Sormeny on Friday, Dec. 02, 2016 at the age of 92. Born in Jacquet River, she was the daughter of the late Frank and Louise (Cormier) Guitard.
Adeline is survived by her son Gabriel of Beresford; daughter Jackie of Belledune; 5 grandchildren Paul, Keith, Peter & Lori Guitard and Kirk Berube as well as her 4 great-grandchildren and brother Raymond.
She was predeceased by her husband Herman; son Andrew; special friend and son in law Yvon Berube; brothers Houston, Theodore, Delphis, Joseph, Edgar and sisters Ellen, Mary, Cecile and Alfreda.
Gladys Mary Robert
In her 89th year, our beloved mom died peacefully leaving behind her children, son Michael and daughter Pauline, son-in-law John and grand-dog Ginger.
She is predeceased by husband Albert Robert and siblings Alec (Edna), Raymond (Eunie), Harry, Lydia (Arthur Lloyd) and Leona (Paul Chamberlain).
She was a much loved auntie to many nieces and nephews. Gladys was born in Shippegan, NB to Charles and Denise Martin; lived in Dalhousie; trained as a nurse at the Hotel-Dieu Hospital, Campbellton NB. She worked at the Sanatorium in Bathurst NB, at Hillsdale Manor in Oshawa ON and spent the best part of her nursing career giving allergy needles to children at the Oshawa Clinic.
A special note of appreciation to mom's much cherished friend Gloria, to the caring staff at WhiteCliffe Terrace, her many friends at St. Therese R. C. Church, including Aldith, Jean & Noel and Rene & Germaine as well as Drs. Nowak, Naasan and Ho, nurses Liz, Erin, Sara and Valerie and the lovely PSW's from ParaMed, VHA and Home Instead.
Margaret Fearon
Passed away peacefully surrounded by family at the Campbellton Nursing Home, at the age of 91, Margaret Fearon of Tide Head, NB, wife of the late Harry "Hib" Fearon. She was born in Flatlands, NB on September 3, 1925, daughter of the late Sarah and William Ferguson.
Margaret will be greatly missed by her loving family, daughters: Susan Lanteigne (Tico) of Glen Levit, NB, Janice Brown (Doug) of Escuminac, QC and son Bill Fearon (Barb) of Campbellton, NB, as well as eight grandchildren: Terri Lynn, Lisa, Mary Jane, Colton, Delaney, Gavin, Morgan, and Jesse and three great–grandchildren: Maria, Elly and Emma. She also leaves to mourn many nieces and nephews.
Predeceased are sisters: Shirley and Faye, as well as brothers: Billy, Jackie, Reid, Cliff, Paul, and Gerald.
She was employed for many years at the Soldiers Memorial Hospital and started her Nursing Career in 1945.
Honorary pallbearers are: Terri Lynn, Lisa, Mary Jane, Colton, Delaney, Gavin, Morgan, and Jesse.
MacCallum, David Carson
With heavy hearts we announce that on December 1, 2016, at 91 years, Dave passed away peacefully, with Olive, his wife of 39 years at his side.
He will be greatly missed and dearly remembered by his wife and family, sons Ken, Gord (Donna) and Doug (Bridget), and daughters Beth, Nancy (Jim), and Barb. Also missing their beloved Papa are grandchildren Shea, Connor, Jennifer, Daniel, Krista (Chris), and Sara (Jared), and six young great-grandchildren.
He was predeceased by first wife Marjorie, sister Carma, and brother Bill.
Born in Campbellton, NB, on June 27, 1925, Dave was educated in New Brunswick and received his degree in Mechanical Engineering. Working in the pulp and paper industry for Canadian International Pulp & Paper (CIP), he and his family lived in Dalhousie, NB, La Tuque, PQ, Vancouver, BC, Gold River, BC, and Montreal, PQ and was a project manager at H.A. Simons Engineering in Vancouver. Dave retired to Abbotsford and Mission. He made many close friends wherever he lived and worked, and maintained those friendships even from long distances. Over the years, Dave was an energetic and social gentleman, enjoying a good round of golf, being a long term active member of the Lions Club wherever he lived, travelling, cruising, doing DIY projects and fixing things in his workshop or just enjoying time with his kids and grandkids.
Our thanks go to the staff of The Residence In Mission (TRIM) and to Dr. G. Nemanishen for being so kind and caring to Dave over the last two years.
Irma Anne (McRae) Moore
It is with great sadness that the family of Irma Anne (McRae) Moore of Penniac, NB, wife of the late Earl Moore, announce her passing on Thursday, December 8, 2016 at the Dr. Everett Chalmers Regional Hospital, Fredericton, NB.
Mom was born in Campbellton, NB on August 3, 1938 and was the daughter of the late Angus and Christine (Meagher) McRae. She was the third of six children, three girls and three boys.
In 1960, after years of health issues, Mom was diagnosed with a heart condition that eventually took her to the Royal Victoria Hospital in Montreal, QC for open heart surgery. The doctors were surprised that she lived to be 22. After her recovery, she returned to Campbellton, where she worked at a few different jobs until her move to Fredericton in 1964. It was in Fredericton that she met my Dad, Earl and they were married on December 12, 1968. Mom worked at Creaghan’s department store until I was born in 1971, at that time she took on the full time job of stay-at- home MOM, Thanks Mom XO.
Mom is survived by her fiancée, Charles Sutherland of Fredericton, NB; daughter, Treena (Moore) Hetherington (late Allison) and grandson, Mark Hetherington of Penniac, NB and chosen daughter, Juanita “Faye” Gilbert (Raymond) of Grand Digue, NB. Mom is also survived by her brother, Cameron McRae (Nancy) and sister, Edith McLean (late Howard) of Dalhousie Junction, NB; sisters in law, Loretta McRae (late John) of Campbellton, NB, Joyce McRae (late William) of Wilmot Station, NS and Joan Moore (late Ken) of Regina, SK; many nieces and nephews. In addition to husband and parents, Mom was predeceased by her sister, Agnes McRae; brothers, John and William McRae and son in law, Allison Hetherington.
By request of the family, there will be no visitation or service but a small family gathering. A Private Graveside Service will take place in the Penniac Cemetery at a later date. Special thanks go out to Dr. Louise Plant and Dr. Leona Johnson for their exceptional care and heartfelt concern for Mom’s well being. Also enough thank you’s cannot go around to all the nurses and staff of 3SW and lastly 4E where Mom spent her final few weeks. You were all so wonderful to her.
Maurice Fournier
It with great sadness that we announce the passing of our dear father Maurice Fournier on December 9th, at the Campbellton Regional Hospital Palliative Care Unit.
He leaves behind his wife Jeanita (née Haché), his sons Robert (Joe Caruana) and Jean (Marie–Laure Barrau), his daughters Lise and Diane, granddaughters Gabrielle, Hélène, Coralyne and Kenza, and his sister Lorraine (Evans).
