William A. "Billy" Betteridge
Passed away at his residence on May 6, 2013 at the age of 73, Mr. William A. "Billy" Betteridge of Glen Levit.
He leaves to mourn his wife Olive (Smith) Betteridge, his daughters Patricia Letourneau and Tracey Betteridge both of Campbellton, his brothers Whitney Betteridge (Katherine) and Robert Betteridge (Sherry) both of Glen Levit, his sisters Carol Fitzgerald (Garth) and Patricia Craswell (Lyman) both of Glen Levit. Also survived by his grandchildren Lesley Letourneau-Gallant (James), Andrea Letourneau, Jamie Letourneau, Amanda Irvine and Andrew Irvine, many nieces and nephews.
Predeceased by his parents Whitney and Gladys Betteridge.
Dr, Hermile Gagnon
Passed away at the Campbellton Regional Hospital on May 9, 2013 at the age of 70, Dr. Hermile Gagnon of Campbellton. Born in St. Leonard Parent, NB, he was the son of the late Aurele Gagnon and the late Rita St-Amand.
He was passionate about helping others through chiropractic care. He was also involved in his community with the Richelieu club and Chevaliers de Colomb.
He leaves to mourn his wife Dr. Marie-France Racine, his daughters Lisa (Gagnon) Meers (Adrian) from Barrie, ON, Angel Gagnon from Brockville ON, Maggie Gagnon from Campbellton, Lydia (Gagnon) Middelkamp (Graeme) from Coldstream, BC and Marie-Eve Gagnon (Pascal) from Moncton, his son Joel Gagnon (April) from Campbellton, his brothers Gilles Gagnon (Marie0 Ange) from Grand Falls, Rene Gagnon (Raymonde), Yvon Gagnon (Mona) and Rejean (Gagnon (Suzy) all of St Andre, NB and Rose Marie (Gagnon) Peters from Latrobe, Pensylvania, USA. Also survived by 16 grandchildren.
Predeceased by his parents and his first wife Kathleen O'Brian.
Marguerite Mae White
Resident at Deer Lake NL, former resident of Tide Head, on December 5, 2013 at the age of 91, the Lord called "Mom" home.
Predeceased by her husband Murray, son Beecher, and brothers Jamie, Malcolm and Clarence, she will be missed by all who knew her, especially by her sisters Muriel Clarabelle, Doris, Ethel, Shirley, brother Jim (Percy), children Sheila (Denys), Curtis (Connie), Clarence (Nancy), and Greg (Tara), grandchildren Amanda, Shara (Lyndon), Stephen, Diana, Loriley, Murray (Heather) , Jaden, Rylee Mae, Derek, Patrick, Tanya, great step-children, Jennifer, Nikki, Bobbi-Jo, and great-grandson, Blake.
Walter Gray
In loving memory of Walter Gray, a wonderful man, husband and father, who passed away peacefully May 10, 2013 at the Campbellton Regional Hospital at the age of 81 years old. You are gone from this earth but never from our hearts. You are and will always be in our thoughts and prayers.
Sadly missed by wife Merilda (Billie) Gray, sons Randy (Jane), Ricky (Nicole) and Kevin (Suzanne) Gray, many brothers, sisters, nieces, nephews, grandchildren and great grandchildren. We love you always.
Rose-Ann Thompson
Passed away at the Campbellton Regional Hospital on May 19, 2013 at the age of 71, Mrs. Rose-Ann Thompson. Born in Campbellton she was the daughter of Romeo Roy and Helen Thomas.
Her home was always a welcoming place to visit. She was very proud of her children and she thoroughly loved having her grandchildren around. She loved life.
She leaves to mourn her daughter Debbie Thompson (Glen) from Oshawa, ON, her sons Steven Thompson (Sandra) Orangeville, ON, Jason Thompson Brampton, ON and Scotty Thompson (Sabrina) Campbellton, her brothers Marcel, Calgary, David (Marilyn) Winnipeg, Tommy (Mila) Windson ON, and Bill (Ratta) Toronto ON. her sisters Margaret Thompson (Charlie) Sudbury, On, Nancy Roy (Grant) Calgary and Patty Roy (Robin) Willipeg. Also survived by her grandchildren Braden, Jonathan, Emily, Matthew, Madison, Nathan, James, Rebecca, Zach and MacKensie.
Predeceased by her brothers Raymond, Leo and Ulric.
Pallbearers were David Roy, Tommy Roy, Bill Roy, Marcel Roy, Dallas Thompson and Raymond Thompson.
John Carrier
The death of John Carrier of Gravel Hill occurred at the Palliative care Unit of the St Joseph Hospital, Dalhousie on May 14, 2013 at the age of 72, son of the late Frank and Sarah June (Mallalley) Carrier.
John is survived by his sons Fidel (Monique) of Lorne and Preston (Diane) of Fredericton; seven grandchildren; a great grandchild; brother Jean; and sisters: Clara, Madeline, Margaret and Catherine.
He was predeceased by his son Louis.
Pallbearers: Arron Aube, Ricky Murphy, Eldon Mallaley, Dean Murphy, Guy Richard and Stacy Godin.
Sandra Faye MacKay
It is with profound sadness the family announces the passing of Sandra MacKay. Sandra passed away at North York General Hospital in Toronto, May 13, 2013 after a brave battle with ARDS.
Beloved wife of Allan Johnston. Loved mother of Stephanie MacKay and sister of Judy MacKay. Sandra will be sorely missed by her aunts, uncles and many cousins in Ontario, New Brunswick and British Columbia, and by her in-laws and her many dear friends.
Rose-Ann Thompson
Passed away at the Campbellton Village Nursing Home on May 14, 2013 at the age of 67, Mrs. Celine Mercier of Campbellton. Born in Campbellton, she was the dauhter of the late Raoul Mercier and the late Mary Williamson.
She leaves to mourn her daughter Sylvie Migneault (Eric) of Dieppe, her son Guy Chiasson (Wendy) of Dieppe, her brothers Richard Mercier (Lorrainte) of Campbellton and Jules Lorraine LeClair (Terry) of Campbellton. Also survived by her two granddaughters Chloe and Jade, a few nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by her parents.
