George "Buddy" R. Thomas

Passed away at the Campbellton Regional Hospital on May 28, 2013 at the age of 81, Mr. George "Buddy" R. Thomas of Upsalquitch. George was a loving husband to Ruth(Boudreau)for over 62 years. An avid fisherman, George worked doing what he loved as a fishing guide on local rivers until his retirement. In his spare time, he enjoyed playing cards, p laying the guitar, discussing politics and spending with his family. George was well known for his sense of humour, stubbornness and his ability for telling stories of days gone by.

He leaves to mourn his wife Ruth Thomas, his daughters Kathryn Thomas of Upsalquitch, Julia Craswell (Boyd) of Man's mountain and Susan Blanchette (Steven) of Robinsonville. His sons Paul Thomas (Donna) of Robinsonville, Marvin Thomas (Kathy)of Dawsonville and Barney Thomas Cindy) of St, Johns, NFLD, his sister Helen Roy of Campbellton. Also survived by his 12 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.

Ada Graham 1927-2013

Ada Graham passed away peacefully at the Moncton Hospital on May 29,2013 at the age of 86,after a brief battle with cancer. Born in Dawsonville, Ada was the daughter of the late Charles and Beulah (Noble) Cooling.

Ada is survived by her children Alda Graham (Kevin Forbes) Anne (Franklin) Ramsoomair, Clayton (Danielle) Graham, and Clark (Margaret) Graham, sisters Beulah Firth, and Arlene (George) Morrison and by her brother Allan Cooling. She will also be missed by her eight grandchildren and four great-grandchildren as well as her in-laws and many nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents,Ada was predeceased by her husband Thomas C. Graham, brothers Ernest, Charles, Jack, Duncan and by her sister Grace. Ada graduated from the Soldier's Memorial Hospital in 1948 and retired from the Moncton Hospital in 1989.She was a lifetime member of the Lakeville United Church Woman and the Lakeville Golden Dears. The family would like to thank the doctors and staff of the 6600 unit at the Moncton hospital for their excellent care.

Jeannine "Nin" Selesse

Passed away at her residence on June 2, 2013 at the age of 82, Mrs.Jeannine "Nin" Selesse of Glenwood. Born in Campbellton, she was the daughter of the late John Percy Furlong and the late Edith Legacy.

She leaves to mourn her husband Rheal Selesse, her son Mark Silas(Nancy) of Ottawa, her brother Percy Furlong of Campbellton. Also survived by her three grandchildren Courtney, Zachery and Emily. Predeceased by her brother Murray, sisters Vangeline, Theresa and Rita.

Marion Reita Cool (nee Butland)

Passed away May 22, 2013 at the saint John Regional Hospital with her loving children by her side. Marion was born May 28, 1941 in Campbellton and was predeceased by her loving husband Donald Cool, devoted parents Charles and Delina (Cormier) Butland half-brother Herbie Butland and half-sisters Helen and Betty Butland. Marion is survived by her three children, Stacy, Shawn (Carolyn) and Julia Cool of Saint John. Her loving brother Jack Butland, and his wife Aline of Campbellton and niece Gail Ermacora of Laval, PQ. She is also survived by close cousins John Duguay (Linda) of Sudbury Ontario, lifelong friend Lucille LeBlanc of Dalhousie as well as her beloved cats and constant companions Cody and Max.
