Alphonse Chouinard

On October 1st at the Campbellton Village Nursing Home at the age of 89, passed away Joseph Alphonse Remi Chouinard.

Born in Balmoral, he was the son of the late Charles Chouinard and the late Marie (Santerre ) Chouinard.

He was a proud member of the Kinghts of Columbus, Father J. Savoie Council and the Golden Age Club of the Notre-Dame-des-Neiges Parish for about thirty years, Alphonse is survived by his wife Therese (Lavallee) Chouinard, his children Docile, Ida (Charles), Marc, Patrick (Mary), Jean-Guy (Linda), Paul (Jennie), Luc (Susan), Carole, Suzanne (Allen) and Louis (Rejeanne), 17 grandchildren, 12 great grandchildren , five sisters Antonia, Jeanne, Antoinette, Dorothee and Clarisse (Roland),. Predeceased by four brothers Alban, Amedee, Raoul and Raymond.

Marcel Levesque

Passed away at the Campbellton Regional Hospital on September 24, 2013 at the age of 84, Mr. Marcel Levesque of Pointe a la Croix.

He leaves to mourn his wife Reina Arsenault, his daughter Denise Glash (Ron) of Texas, his sons Richard Levesque (Carmelle) of Sept Iles, Gino Levesque (Cindy) of Tide Head and Michel (Marie-Joe) of Dalhousie Jct. his brother Georges of San Diego, California, his sisters Lidwina of Ottawa, Marie Ange Doucet (POlydore) of Balmoral, Bernadette (Yvon) of Charloe and Alvina Levesque of Pointe a la Croix. Also survived by his 6 grandchildren, 9 greatgrandchildren, many nieces, nephews and the mother of his childrfen Georgina Parker Levesque. Predeceased by his father Treffle, his mother Annie Landry, his brothers Gerard-Guy and Arthur.

Vance G. Anderson

Passed away at the Campbellton Regional Hospital on September 30th at the age of 73, Mr. Vance Glenford Anderson. Born in Campbellton on June 1, 1940, son of the late Osborne Anderson and the late Elizabeth Barnes.

Father of Vance Anderson Jr., adopted son, Gerry Anderson as well as many step children. Brother of Gerald Anderson (Francis), Mike Anderson (Sheila), Susan Godin (Donald), Margot Moran (Shane). He was predeceased by his brother, Daryl Anderson.

John Audet

On September 25, 2013, John Audet of Charlo, passed away at the Dalhousie Nursing Home at the age of 92.

He is survived by his spouse Therese Audet, children Monique (Mitchell Rogers ) of Fredericton, Maurice (Ginette Plante) of Montreal, Jean-Guy and Andre of Charlo, Louise (Gilles Blanchard) of Trois-Rivieres, Rachel (Blake Hunter) of Fredericton, his grandchildren Daniel, Luc, Melisa, Maxime, Samuel, Jason, Alexa, Mathieu, Annick, John, Lucas and a great granddaughter Isabelle. He is also survived by his sister Leontine Doucet.

He is predeceased by his son Jacques.

Walter James Wicks

The death occurred at Beach Grove Home on Thursday, September 26, 2013, of Walter James Wicks of Charlottetown, age 85 years. He was the husband of Marguerite (nee Doucet), father of James (Marie), of West Palm Springs, Florida, John (Bridget), of Perth, Australia, and William (Jessie), of Charlottetown. Walter was the grandfather of Amanda, Bobby, Amy and Charlotte, and a brother of Jack (Kay), London, Ontario. Resting at Belvedere Funeral Home, there will be no visitation or service by personal request. Memorial donations may be made to Beach Grove Home.

Geralda Mary Innis

The passing of Geralda Mary Innis of 189 Hockquard Street Dalhousie occurred Monday September 23, at the Campbellton Regional Hospital. Born on August 24, 1929 in Cross Point she was the daughter of the late Amie Gendron and Flora (Roy).

Geralda is survived by her children Kenneth Innis (Sheila) of Saint John, Elizabeth (kenneth) Valdron of London On, and Deborah Furlotte (Rayburn) of Dalhousie. Grandchildren Keith (Laur) Innis, Melissa McHugh, Charles Furlotte, Carrie and Stacy Valdron; great-grandchildren Christie, Cassandra and Lily Innis, Conner and Kyle McHugh, Jaden Archange sisters Jean Poirier and Marie Gendron and several nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents she was predeceased by her husband Donald, brothers Joseph, John, Raymond, Edward and granddaughter Leeann.

Geralda contributed much to her community. She was a proud member of the Royal Canadian Legion and serced as president and vice president of the Ladies Auxiliary which she was a member for 33 years. She was a fabulous hostess, and loved to travel and family gathering, especially parties. She was a great cok, and ran a restaurant in the community that served the famous "Gerry Burger".

Rejeanne Carroll

It is with great sadness we announce the passing of Rejeanne Carroll which occurred September 23, 2013 at the Pierre-Boucher Hospital in Longueuil at the age of 63. She was born in Pointe a la Garde.

She is survived by her son Gerry Bacon (Natasha) daughter Diane Bacon as well as grandson Victor and granddaughters Brittany and Julianne.
