Maurice Parent

Passed away peacefully at his home in Montreal on November 26th at the age of 67.

He was the son of the late Amedie Parent and Eva Frenette. He was prededeased by his brothers; Raymond, Leo, John and Ronald, and also by his sisters: Linda, Wilma, Jacqueline and Donna Joan.

He leaves to mourn his partner of 50 years George Nosher and their best friend Allan. He will be sadly missed by all, especially his sisters Shirley Wedge and Diane Parent along with his brothers Carl Parent and Vernon Parent. He was a long time member of the Sons of Scotland and also a great bowler for many years.

Jean-Pierre Doucet

On December 4th, 2012 at the Campbellton Regional Hospital, passed away at the age of 55, Mr. Jean -Pierre Doucet of Campbellton. Husband of Lorraine Lagace. He was the son of Lucille (Boudreau) and the late Amedee Doucet.

He will be sadly missed by his wife Lorraine; his two children; Serge of Campbellton; Michelle of Moncton and his grandchildren; Anthony and Alex; his mother Lucille Doucet of Campbellton; his brothers and sisters; Gerlad (Lise Dubois) of Campbellton, Michel (Twila Smith) of Moncton, Monic (Mark Ramsay) of Campbellton, Alain (JoAnne Roy) of Campbellton and Linda (Pierre Raill) of Campbellton. He will also be missed by many nieces, nephews and friends.

He was predeceased by his father Amedee and his brother Marcel (Angie Doucet) of Campbellton.

Joseph William "Bill" Doiron

Joseph William "Bill" Doiron, died December 3, 2012 at the Village Nursing Home in Campbellton at the age of 79. He was the son of the late Allison Doiron and the late Margaret Furlong.

He leaves behind his wife Elsie (Durette) Doiron, his son Gary Doiron and his partner Trish Kinsey, his daughter Kimberley Doiron and his other daughter Stacy Doiron Laviolette and her husband Pierre Laviolette. He is also survived by seven grandchildren and five of his six siblings.

Patricia Blaquiere

November 30th, 2012 at the Campbellton Regional hospital at the age of 67, passed away Mrs. Patricia Blaquiere of Atholville, wife of the late Yvon Blaquiere. She was the daughter of the late Adeline (Lanteigne) and the late Edouard Savoie.

She will be sadly missed by her children; Luc (Martine LeBelle) of Campbellton and Rachel of Hawkesbury, Ont., her four grandchildren; Yannick, Noemie, Josiane and Daphne; her brothers and sister, Yvon (Linda Poirier) of Atholville, Gisele (Ronald Duguay) of Atholville, Gaston (Murielle Hebest) Of Moncton and Robert (Pierrette) Lagace) of Atholville also by many nieces, nephews, members of the Blaquiere family and friends.

She was predeceased by her husband and her parents and her brother Claude.

Frederick Harold Johnson

The death of Frederick Harold Johnson occurred on December 4, 2012 at the Dr. Everett Chalmers Regional Hospital. Born March 10th, 1928, he was the son of the late Mikail and Laura (Smith) Johannson and husband of 58 years to the late Geraldine Johnson.

Frederick graduated from UNB in 1949 with a degree in Civil Engineering. He worked with the Federal Hyderographic Service Department of Highways, Prov. of NB and Public Works Canada. His public service tour took him to all the provinces and the Yukon Territory. Of particular importance, he was proud of his involvement with the Canso Causeway, Campbellton Bridge and the Trans Canada Highway.

He is survived by his three children, Mike (Cheryl) Johnson (P. Eng) of the Yukon Territory and their children, DAnel Johnson (Jodi), Matthew Johnson (Adrien) and Lia Johnson; Dr. John Johnson (Daryl Elizabeth) of Saint John and their children, Drew, Taylor, Tristan and Bryce; Deana Helton (Jeff) of Calgary and their children, Jessica and Andrew and two great grandchildren Danica and Makena Johnson of the Yukon Territory.

Both parents came from simple beginnings and worked hard to successfully raise their three children, Geraldine was a teacher, Fred an Engineer. They instilled in us the importance of education and hard work.

The family would like to thank the staff and community of the Shannex and the staff of Ward 4NE, and Palliative Care Unit of the Dr. Everett Chalmers Regional Hospital.

J. Graham Boudreau

Graham passed away peacefully at his home in Glen Levit on December 7, 2012. He was born in Glen Levit on June 1st, 1921. He was the eldest son of the late Andrew (d. 1966) and Stella (Boudreau) (d. 1999) Boudreau.

He was a veteran of the Second World War and was taken prisoner of war at the Battle of Hong Kong in December 1941. He was a 61 year member of the Royal Canadian Legion and belonged to St Anthony Parish.

He leaves to mourn his wife of 59 years Antoinette (Chouinard) one daughter Bonnie of Fredericton, two sons, John of Embrun, ON. and Paul of Pointe Clair, QC. He is also survived by his brother Carl of New Richmond and a sister Joyce (D. John) Archibald of Flatlands, and several nieces and nephews.

He was predeceased by brother Robert (d. 1991) , sister Dorothy Adams (d. 2008), and grandson Patrick (d.2011).

Richard Landry

Died on December 6th in Brockville, ON of cancer. Son of Francis and Angeline Landry. Brother of Francine, Yvette, Gerald(Julie) , Jean Claude, Dianne (Robert) , Suzanne Minville (Serge), Angele, and Michel.

Predeceased by his parents and a brother Claude.

Lucille Lavigne Morrison

The death of Lucille Lavigne-Morisson of Listuguj, QC occurred on December 5, 2012 at the Campbellton Regional Hospital after a lenghty illness. Born September 16, 1929, Lucille was the wife of the late James Morrison also of Listuguj.

Lucille was predeceased by her daughter Jacqueline (Morrison) Metallic, her sons Franklin Morrison, Reuben Morrison, her sister Alona (Lavigne) Isaac.

She is survived by her brother James Lavigne of Gesgapegiag, her remaining sons, Maynard Morrison and Raymond Morrison both of Listuguj, her grandchildren William (Billy) Morrison, Kyle Morrison, Tyler Morrison, Jill Metallic, Abby Metallic, Mallory Metallic, Chase Metallic, Lucille and Melissa Morrison of Arizona U.S.A. along with numerous nieces, nephews and great grandchildren.

We wish to express our most sincere appreciation to all those who comforted us during our time of sadness. The family is extremely appreciative of the many expressions of support and kindness we received during our time of grief. We also wish to express our most sincere gratitude to all those who helped during our difficult time, most notably the professional staff at Maher's Funeraol home , the Listuguj Medical Center staff, the palliative care unit staff at the Campbellton Regional Hospital, her family Doctor, Dr. Delbe Robichaud, the staff of the Sainte Anne's Church, the Listuguj Elder's Center who organized a superb meal and gathering in honor of Lucille after the service, and the many family and community members who assisted us.

Barbara Mary Rankine

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Barbara Mary Rankine, 87, of People's Park Tower, Moncton. Barb passed away peacefully on December 15, 2012 at the Moncton Hospitaol after a brief but courageous battle with cancer.

Barb was born in Truro, NS, to the late Harold and Dorothy (Angel) McLaughlin. She spent her youth in Hazel Hill, NS, where her dad worked for the Commercial Cable Company before moving to Halfax in the 1940's . In 1951 she married and relocated to Bathurst and on to Dalhousie, Trois Rivieres and back to Dalhousie in 1987, Barb relocated to People's Park Tower in Moncton to take care of her aunt and father. For many years, Barb was an active member of the Eastern Star and the People's Park Tower Seniors Club and enjoyed many an evening et together playing cards and bingo with her numerous friends.

Barb will be sadly missed by her brother Huntley (Clarisse) of moncton, sister-in-law , Barbara Isherwood of Saint John; sons Steven (Anne) of Dieppe, Gregory (Trina) of Point la Nim, Brian (Nimia) of Halifax, NS and Ross (Sheila) of Hildren nS her nice grandchildren; Jennifer, Andrew, Tyson, Jason, Alex, Joshua, Rebecca, Ashley and Annie; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Boyde Malcolm Moores

Passed away peacefully at the Campbellton REgional Hospital on December 5, 2012 at the age of 78. He was the son of the late Henry and Eliza (Murray) Moores.

He leaves to mourn his best friend and soulmate Grace Main, one daughter Pauline Wilson (Lincoln) of Hamilton ON, one son Darrell (Nathalie) of Milton, ON, four grandsons, Mitchell, Morgan, Jackson and Blake. He is also survived by sister Ethel McDavid of Campbellton and brother David (Shirley) of Orleans, ON. Also sister-in-law Lucilla (Lou) and many nieces and nephews.

He was predeceased by his parents , brothers Nelson, Murdock, Aulden, Louis , James , Richard, Harry and sister Wanda.

Pallbearers; Blaine Mann, Douglas Murray, Murray Moores Sr., Isaac Braun, Murray Moores Jr. and Danny Firth.

Honorary Pallbearers; Don Harris, Phil Babineau, Paul Dugs, David Englehart, Ronald Moores, Larry Moores, James Targett and Larry McKinnon.

Johnny Wilfred Ouellet

Johnny Wilfred Ouellet "Little Johnny" also known as Johnny Adams born on January 19, 1951 died at the Campbellton Regional Hospital on December 15, 2012 at the age of 61.

Survived by his daughters Iris and Joyce , his grandchildren Anthony , Jesse, and Naomi.

Leonard Carlson

The death of Leonard Carlson of Jacquet River occurred at the Rexton Lions Nursing Home in Rexton Friday, December 14, 2012 at the age of 74. Born in Jacquet River, he was the son of the late Alexander and Mary (Blais) Carlson and husband of the late Jean (Richard).

Leonard is survived by his daughter Elizabeth (Laurie Caissie) of Richibucto Village, three grandchildren; Amy, Solange and Anita; two great grandchildren: Chelsea and Emma as well as his sisters Betty and Stella.

Pallbearers; Willie LaPointe, Cory Legacy, Regent Firlotte, Bobby Furlotte, Bradford Hickey and Darren Hickey.

Etta Isabel Murray

Etta Isabel Murray passed away at the Campbellton Regional Hospital on November 24, 2012. Born in Campbellton February 10, 1927, Etta was predeceased by her husband, Richard, as well as father, Augustus Thompson, mother Lottie (Adams) Thompson brothers Austin, Freeman, Gussie, sisters Bessie, Muriel and Vivian.

She is survived by daughters Nancy, Janis and Kathy, son Colin, brother George, sisters Alma, Verna and Iris, grandchildren David and Chris, Kevin and Keri, Mark and Jennifer, Kyle, twelve great grandchildren, many nieces and nephews.

Etta worked for many years at the Soldiers Memorial Hospital in the cardiology department and also did allergy testing. She was regarded highly by her co-workers. She was a faithful member of the Glen Levit United Church and a devoted mother, grandmother and great grandmother. She will be greatly missed. Pallbearers were Mark Murray, David smith, Mannie Munroe, Ralph Smith, Vaughan Irvine and Don Thompson. Honorary pallbearers were Kerry Thompson, Jackie Letourneau, Carson Thompson, Karl Irvine, Sonny Murray and Walter Thompson.

Laurette (McIntyre) Charron

It is with great sadness that the family announces the passing of Laurette (McIntyre) Charron on Tuesday December 11, 2012 at the Campbellton Regional Hospital at the age of 64. She was the daughter of the late Dona McIntyre and Victoria (Desrosiers) McIntyre of Charlo.

She is survived by her son Michel (Tomoko) Charron of Montreal, two brothers Roger (Mariette) of Bathurst and Paul of Charlo, an identical twin sister Lorraine (Norman) Webb of Charlo; an uncle Edouard DesRosiers of Dalhousie and three aunts Germaine Gonneville and Doris Parent of Montreal, and Rita Drapeau of Balmoral; two nephews and three nieces Kevin and Karolynn Webb and Ryan , Dominique and Marie-Claude McIntyre.

Aurele Clarence LeBlanc

Passed away at the Campbellton Regional Hospital on December 15, 2012 at the age of 84, Mr. Aurele Clarence LeBlanc of Campbellton.

He leaves to mourn his daughters Johanne Coulombe (Yves) of Campbellton , son Michel LeBlanc of Campbellton, brothers Craig LeBlanc of Campbellton, Eugene LeBlanc (Gisele) of Dalhousie and Pete LeBlanc (Patsy) of Los Angeles CA., sister Doris Allard (Jean-Paul) of Tide Head.

Predeceased by his wife Rolande LeBlanc, mother Exilda Arseneault, father Pierre LeBlanc, three brothers Georges, Leo, and Lauri LeBlanc. He was also survived by his two grandsons Anthony and Brandon.
