Lois Landry

Passed away at the Campbellton Regional Hospital on December 18, 2012 at the age of 56, Mrs. Lois Landry of Campbellton.

She leaves to mourn her husband Claude Landry, her mother Marjorie (Nichol) Anderson, her father William Anderson, her dauhters Amy Miller (Ryan) of Campbellton and Lisa Landry of Campbellton, her sons Jason Landry of Grand Prairie, Alberta and Michael Landry of Campbellton, her brothers Donald Anderson of Flatlands and Darrel Anderson (Lynda) of Burlington, On, her sister Joy Firth (John) of Tide Head. Also survived by her two grandchildren Egian Metallic and Landon Miller, many nieces and nephews.

Rodrigue (Rod) Boudreau

Rodrigue Boudreau of Dalhousie and formerly of Caraquet, passed away on December 12, 2012. Born in Caraquet, he was the son of the lte Jccques (Jimmy) Boudreau and the late Victoria Cormier.

He is survived by two sisters Jeannine (Gilbert Finn) of Dieppe and Sister Jacqueline C.N.D. of Saint-Louis-de-Kent, one brother Fernando (Lucienne Godin) of Shediac, one sister-in-law Paulette Litalien of Bas-Caraquet, two brothers-in-law Roland Beaulieu of Baie Comean, and Leo Ralston of Bryson,Qc several nieces and nephews.

He was predeceased by four sisters Graziella, Valeda, Gisele and Aline, six brothers Rufin, Clarence, Lorenzo, Donald, Ronaldo and Roland.

Rodrigue, best known as Rod in Dalhousie, spent his entire career as a physical education teacher in this town. A graduate of Universite de Moncton and Ottawa University, he started his assignment at Ecole Notre Dame in 1964 and retired from Ecole Aux-Quatre-Vents in 1995. He had a mission; promote physical activity, sports and well-being to area schools. Besides his teaching duties, Rod invested countless hours of his personal time, both after school and on many weekends , promoting and developing intramural and interscholastic sports. He was highly involved with the NBIAA.

In June 2006, l'Ecole Aux-Quatre-Vents recognized Rod's contribution to the school's physical education and sports program, by naming the school's gymnasium in his name "Gymnase Rodrigue Boudreau". Furthermore, in july 2011, Rod was elected to the Dalhousie Sports Hall of Fame. As an athlete, Rod played for hockey and baseball teams in Caraquet, Tracadie and Dalhousie.
