Charles Leslie (Ted) Chedore

The death of Charles Leslie (Ted) Chedore, husband of the late Adele Marie LeBlanc, occurred at the Hotel Dieu Hospital in Windsor, Ontario on Sunday, August 19th at the age of 92.

Born in Campbellton, he was the son of the late Ida Huntington and William Chedore.

He is survived by 12 children: Elsie McLaughlin(Charles) of Campbellton, Joan Landry (late Pat Landry) of Sudbury, Ontario, Maynard Chedore (Jackie) of Windsor, Ontario, Shirley Roy (Norman) of McGregor, Ontario, Audrey Gagnon (Ernest ) of Windsor, Ontario, Phyllis Charette (John) of Manitoulin Island, Ontario, Donna-Ray Philippe (Paul) of Sudbury, Ontario, Donna-Lee (late Gordon Doucette) of Campbellton, Roger Chedore (Dawn) of Saint John, Sandra Lanthiem (Marcel) of Amherstburg, Ontario, Margaret Geraghty (Howard) of Campbellton and Susan-Lynn Arseneault (Ronnie) of Glencoe.

He is also survived by many grandchildren, great and great-great-grandchildren.

He was predeceased by his darling wife, Adele Marie LeBlanc, three grandsons (Bobby, John and Kevin)



Mrs. Germaine Harquail

The death of Mrs. Germaine Harquail of Dalhousie occurred August 21 at the Moncton City Hospital ata the age of 76.

She was born in Campbellton on January 12, 1925 to the late Jack Tennier and the late Rachel Chapados.

She is survived by her sons Ervine Jr. Harquail (Leona) of Eel River Crossing, John Harquail (Peggy) of Campbellton and Wayne Harquail of Dalhousie, her sister Florine Kirkwood of Montreal, her grandsons Rodney, Aaron and Jeremy, her great-granddaughter Kelly Ann and her sister-in-law Winnifred Russell.

Besides her parents, she was predeceased by her husband Irvine Harquail.

Gilbert Douglas MacIntyre

The death of Gilbert Douglas MacIntyre of 201 Roseberry Street, Campbellton occurred on June 27, 2001 at the Campbellton Regional Hospital after a courageous battle with cancer.

He was born on March 17, 1929 to the late William MacIntyre and Eliza Georgina (Combley) MacIntyre who resides at the Memorial Villa at the age of 101.

Gilbert made his career in the armed forces, first in the army and then the air force from which he retired. He was a Korean War veteran.

He was an avid curler, bowler, shuffleboard player and card player.

He is survived by his caring companion Loretta, his mother, his sister Charlotte (John) Gorman of Boutieliers Point, Nova Scotia, his brothers Wallace (Edith) and Kenneth, both of Campbellton, his daughter Sheila of Edmonton, Alberta, his sonss Douglas of Salmon Arm, B.C. and Gordon of Saskatoon, Saskatchewan and a number of nieces, nephews and cousins.

Besides his father, he was predeceased by his wife Marilyn Hicks of Medicine Hat, Alberta and his sister June.

Earl Vernon Warren

The death of Earl Vernon Warren of Dalhousie occurred August 24, 2001 at St Joseph Hospital, Dalhousie at the age of 69.

He was born in Blackfille on February 9, 1932 to the late William Warren Sr. and the late Charlotte Jardine.

He is survived by his wife Shirley (Lawlor) Warren of Dalhousie, his daughters Cathy MacDonald, Joy (David) Berthelotte, both of Campbellton, and Pam Traer (Ed) of Dalhousie, his son Roy Warren of Dalhousie, his brother William Warren (Dot) of Dalhousie and 10 grandchildren.

Besides his parents, he was predeceased by one sister, Joan Desrosiers and two brothers, Ray and Milton.

Earl John Larsen

The death of Earl John Larsen of Dalhousie occurred on August 21, 2001 at Georges Dumont Hospital in Moncton following a bried illness.

He was born in Black Point in 1918 to the late Louis and Sarah Jane Larsen.

He is survived by four sons, Thomas, Charles, Vaughn and Lloyd and four daughters, Diana, Merina, Darlene and Marlene. He is also survived by several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Besides his immediate family, he is survived by three sisters, Bernetta Birrell of Wasaga Beach, Ontario, Hilda Charlong of Campbellton and Irene Lynch of Courtice, Ontario, and one brother, Alfred of Dalhousie.

He was predeceased by two infants and a daughter Lynn.

Laura Frenette Poirier

The death of Laura Frenette Poirier of the Village Nursing Home, Campbellton, occurred at the Campbellton Regional Hospital on August 20, 2001 at the age of 89.

She was born on July 12, 1912 to the late Joseph and Elisabeth Frenette.

She is survived by her son Fernand Poirier of Atholville, her daughters Marie Ange (Biddiscombe) Sherlock of Salisbury, Yolande Cormier of Atholville, Rejeanne Whittaker of St. Stephen and Claudette Poirier of Atholville, her sisters Precille Essiambre and Rosia Dugas, both of Campbellton, 11 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.

Besides her parents, she was predeceased by her husband Gervais Poirier and sons Jean Claude Poirier and Georges Poirier.



Henri J. Perron

The death of Henri J. Perron of Val d'Amour occurred August 19, 2001 at the Campbellton Regional Hospital.

He was born in Val d'Amour on April 4, 1924 to the late James Perron and the late Adele Levesque

He had been employed as a maintenance worker at Sugarloaf Provincial Park.

He is survived by his wife Agathe Barthe-Perron, his daughters Marie Gallant and Carole Perron, his sons Bruce, Alley, Mario and Marc Perron, his sister Regina Levesque, his brother Thomas Perron and his grandchildren Eric, J.C., Annie, Andre-Michel, Luc Shawn, Kasandra, Nathalie, Karen and Tamara.

Besides his parents, he was predeceased by his son Michel.
