The death of Alex Smith, a highly respected citizen took place at Mrs. Wm. Young, and four sons, John his home here on Friday afternoon, aged 76 years. A widow, one daughter S., Neill, Patrick and William, all residing here, survive. The funeral was held Sunday afternoon at 3 o'clock and was largely attended.
