Campbellton Graphic June 18, 1909
Taking the Census For some time the police have been busy taking the census of the dogs in town. They are about through and find that there are about 175 dogs with owners. Of these seventy five were on the list last year, or an increase of one hundred in a year. If the increase keeps up Campbellton will be a fine place for dogs, but as all owners have to pay a dog license, it is likely that next year will show a decrease as some of the animals are not worth thirty cents. The license fee is $1.00. |
