The Campbellton Tribune May 22, 1946 Hotel Dieu Nurses' Graduation To Be Held June 2 Twenty Graduates Will Receive Diplomas and Pins at Ceremony in Madonna Hall Sunday, June 2nd the graduating exercises for the Class of 1946 will be held at the Madonna Hall at 8 p.m. Following are the names of the graduates: Rev. Sister Dionne, Rev. Sister Jeanne-Mance, Misses Lena Comeau, Mary McEvoy, Evelyn Deagle, Mary MacDonald, Marjorie McIsaac, Theresa Doucet, Jean Brown, Elsie Stewart, Jacqueline Cantin, Madeleine Turgeon, Jeannette Richard, Georgette Stevens, Anita Blanchette, Martine McLean, Rose Marie Allain, Madeleine Theriault, Irene Loggie and Rita Cook. Dr. Charles Dumont, president of the Hotel Dieu Staff will preside at the ceremony. Rev. Father Albert Pirier, Pastor of Our Lady of the Snows Parish will address the graduates and the gathering. Rev. Father Jules Comeau, Dean of the Sacred Heart University, Bathurst, will address the graduates in French and Rev. J. M. Hill, pastor of St Thomas Aquinas Parish will address the graduates in English. The musical program will be under the direction of Dr. Ernest Dumont, director of Ste Cecile Orchestra. The friends of the Hotel Dieu and nurses are cordially invited.
