Mr. Boss was superintendent of the whole North Shore system for about ten years, going over with the central people at the time of the first merge and later continuing with the N.B. Telephone Co. after the union of the two firms had been consummated. In the history of the telephone in this part of the province r. Boss' name is inseparably associated with nearly every progressive step.
