Does anyone know who these people are? Front/right is my pépère, Cléophas LaPlante, of Madran, NB. This picture was taken after he was in the Royal Canadian Army during WWI. My grandfather was on his way to England on a ship during the war, but the war ended before the ship landed. Instead of turning around, the men decided to stay in England to work on the railroads. My pépère married Josephine Roy in 1924 in Petit Rocher and settled in Richardsville/Campbellton and raised six children. The youngest, Wilfred, is my father. The writing on the roof in the picture reads, "Benjamin River, NB, 1919".
