Aleta Joyce (Ross) Carter
Aleta Joyce Carter, wife of Wilfred Carter of Dalhousie, passed away at St. Joseph Hospital July 1, 2001.
Born in Campbellton January 29, 1943, she was the daughter of the late John B. Ross and surviving mother Olive J. Charlong.
In addition to her husband Wilfred (Billy), she is survived by her son Randy (Judy Letourneau) Carter of Dalhousie; two grandchildren Kourtney and Jordan, and Cory whom she considered a grandson, all of Dalhousie and grandson Andrew, three sisters, Maxine Bain and Shirley MacKinnon of Campbellton, Marion Cavanaugh (Alan) of Moncton; three brothers Jackson and Daryl Ross (Tammy) of Campbellton, Barry Ross of Glencoe, aunts, several nieces, nephews and cousins.
Alice Mary Arseneault Synette
Alice Mary Arseneault Synette of Dalhousie passed away at St. Joseph Hospital on July 9, 2001.
Born on August 15, 1931, she was the daughter of the late Henry Arseneault and Grace C. Harquail.
She is survived by her daughter Patricia A. Synette (Bonar Quigley) of Pointe la Nim, N.B.; son Floyd G. Synette of Cross Point, Qc., ; brothers Edward (Aline ) Arseneault, Leonard (Dorcas) Arseneault of Dalhousie and Richard (Yvonne) Arseneault of Campbellton. She is also survived by her one granddaughter Alicia J. Synette (Quigley) and many nieces and nephews.
Wilfred Gauvin
The death of Wilfred Gauvin, resident of the Campbellton Nursing Home and formerly of Dalhousie, occurred at his residence July 4, 2001.
Born in Paquetville, N.B., April 19, 1917 Gauvin was the son of the late Onesime Gauvin and Marguerite Boucher. Gauvin served during WW2 and was a forklift operator for NBIP.
He is survived by his wife Stella Guitard; his daughter Emily Gauvin of Dalhousie; his sons Maurice Gauvin, Gabriel (Ginette) Gauvin, Donald (Shirley) Gauvin and Leandre (Linda) Gauvin, all of Dalhousie and six grandchildren and two great grandchildren.
