Brian Edward Parker
The death of Brian Edward Parker of Michaud's Special Care Home occurred June 25, 2001 at St. Joseph's Hospital in Dalhousie at the age of 38.
Born in Campbellton on March 30, 1963, he was the son of John Parker of Campbellton and Corine Pitre of Pointe à la Croix and formerly of Atholville.
He enjoyed listening to music, dancing, playing games, scratching tickets and eating Smarties.
Besides his parents, he is survived by one sister Joyce Parker (Gilles) of Atholville; t wo brothers, John Parker (Karen) of Campbellton and Kevin Parker (Doris) of Ontario and nieces and nephews Sarah, Jennifer, Jamie, Eric and Kevin.
Vivian Mann
Family and friends were saddened to hear about the death of Vivian Mann who passed away after a lenghty illness on June 5th, 2001 on her 73rd birthday at the Campbellton Regional Hospital.
She was born on June 5th, 1928 in Mann's Mountain. She was the daughter of the late Randolph and Violet (MacKenzie) Mann.
Vivian was a dedicated teacher who taught in Pointe Claire, Montreal and also in Matapedia, Qc.
She will always be remembered for her caring and kind generosity shown to her former students and friends. She instilled a great love of learning to all of her students.
She is survived by two sisters, Vera Kerridge of North Bay, Ontario and Elsie Mae (Ken) Armitage of Toronto, one brother Vernon (Lou) of Newcastle, Ontario, many vieces, nephews, and grand nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by her parents, two sisters, Irene Lochhead and Grace Holotuk and two brothers, Allie and Fred Mann.
Vina Menzies
Vina (Travers) Menzies of the Dalhousie Nursing Home, widow of Irvine A. Menzies, passed away there on June 18. She had turned 102 six days before.
Born June 12, 1899, she was the daughter of the late William and Charlotte Marie (Major) Travers.
Besides her parents and husband, she was predeceased by five sisters and four brothers.
She is survived by two daughters, Dorothy Jean Brown (Clinton) of Bathurst and Joan MacKenzie (late Ronald MacKenzie) and a son, Perley Menzies (Myra), 11 grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Jean Black
Jean Black of Jacquet River , wife of Donald Black, passed away at the Campbellton Regional Hospital on June 25. She was 68.
Born in New Bandon, N.B., she was the daughter of the late Samuel and Nina Jean (Sealy) Hillock.
She is survived by her husband, a son, Allison and three grandchildren.
Also surviving are two sisters, Eva Gladys Miller of Toronto and Roberta (Richard) De Courville of Stonehaven and three brothers, Ernest (Dorothy) of Mississauga, Ont., Boyd (Theresa) of Chatham and Glendon (Sharon) of New Bandon.
She was pre-deceased by her parents, a daughter Kimberly, an infant son and two brothers, Ronald and Elgin.
Blanche Faulds
Blanche Faulds of Nash Creek, widow of Jimmy Faulds, passed away at her residence on June 29. She was 77.
She was born in Lorne, N.B., on October 2, 1923, she was the daughter of the late Joseph and Ellen Jane (Lavigne) Audet.
She is survived by four daughters, Annie Mann of Campbellton, Diane Gagnon (Roger) and Christine Faulds of Nash Creek and Paula Ford (Trent) of Fredericton; four sons, Albert (Sharon) and Raymond, both of Brampton, Lloyd (Marie) of Fredericton and Billy (Mary) of Malton, ONtario; 10 grandchildren and four greatgrandchildren.
She is also survived by a sister Mary (Everette) Carter of Dalhousie.
Elsie Mann
Mrs. Elsie Mann, widow of Cecil M. Mann, passed away at the Campbellton Nursing Home on June 25.
Born in Campbellton on March 5, 1914, she was the daughter of the late George Thomas and the late Ethel Murray.
She is survived by her children, Phyllis (Dale) Pozer of St. Lambert, Qc., Greta (Glen) Harvey of Tide Head, Ruby (Joey) Craswell of Tide Head, Burton Mann of Saint John, Ken (Sheila) Mann of Oakville, Ont., one sister, Mrs. Grace Mann of the Campbellton Nursing Home, grandchildren Heather and Joan Pozer, Lovi and Tanya Mann, Bill Harvey, Joanne, Gail and Jamie Craswell; great- grandchildren Matthew, Anna and Andrew Johnson, Stephen, Kenny and Ian Noble, Brendan Blanchette, Alison Harvey, Jonathan and Dereck Craswell and a great great grandson, Everest Johnson.
