Loretta Sherwood
Gone to be with her Lord on March 20, 2012 at Groves Park Lodge in Renfrew Ontario in her 88th year. She was born on January 4, 1924 in Mann Settlement P.Q., to the late Elmira and the late Ephriam Mann.
She is survived by and will be reatly missed by her son Sterlng (Betty) , son Peter (Patti) and daughter Sylvia Comley (Bruce), sisters Priscilla Heppell (Marius), Annie Brooks (Frank) and Francis Murphy (Reg), grandchildren Sharon, Rob, Cameron and Katie, nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by her husband Ray Sherwood, husband Cameron Irvine, daughter Marilyn, brothers Sterling, Wendell, Bordon, Jacob Astor and Ephriam Jr., sisters Jeannette Glover and Louise Kaine.
Donald James Munroe
The death of Donald Munroe of Tide Head occurred at the Moncton City Hospital March 25, 2012 at the age of 76. Born in Campbellton he was the son of the late Allison and Ruth Munroe.
Donald is survived by his wife of 52 years Betty (Glidden), sons Steeven (Ruth) of Rockland, Ont., David (Lucie) of Glencoe, daughters Nancy Parlee (Roy) and Leah Allard (Jean Pierre) of Tide Head. Also he will be greatly missed by his nine grandchildren.
Donald worked as a signal maintainer for the CN Railroad for 47 years, retiring in 1993. He was a long time member of the Masonic Lodge Chapter 32. He was a past member of the Tide Head Fire department and was very involv ed in the United Church, chairing and serving on many conmmittees. Prior to passing, Donald was acting Deputy Mayor of Tide Head and served on the Planning Commission Board and Water Shed Committee.
Pallbearers were Jimmy Babcock, Kenny Butler, Gilles Dube, Owen Firth, Mike Glidden, Gary Hickey, Boyd Poley and Wayne Mann.
Honorary Pallbeares were Robert Munroe, Michel Munroe, Jamie Munroe, Jason Munroe, Amanda Parlee and Alex Allard.
