Yvonne Allard (nee Doucet)

At the Campbellton Palliative Care Center, on Saturday April the 19th, 2011 passed away at the age of 89, Yvonne Allard wife of the late Benoit Pelletier and second wedding to the late Raymond Allard.

She reunites with her daughter Claudette Pelletier, her grandchildren Kimberly and Gail and she leaves to mourn her children (Pelletier) Claude (Bernice), Claudette (Sherman), Claudine, her children (Allard) Jeanne (Claude) , Livain (Suzanne), Gemma (Philip), Gratien (Lucille), her nineteen grandchildren, her fifteen great grandchildren and a great great grandchild, her brothers Paull, Joseph (Joe), Hebert, Philibert, Adrien, her sisters Alexina, Estelle and Lilian. She also leaves many other relatives anbd friends.

Lewis Arseneau

Surrounded by his loving family at the Campbellton Regional Hospital on Monday, April 11, 2011 at the age of 55, passed away Mr. Lewis Arseneau of Glencoe. Born in Campbellton he was the son of the late Margaret Arseneau and Mr. Charles S. Arseneau.

He will be sadly missed and forever loved by his sons: Jason (Joanne) of Manitoba, Glenn (Katie) of Alberta and Justin of Alberta; his grandchildren; Tommy, Jena, Lauren and Toni, his great-grandchild Arianna; his loving father Charles S. Arseneau of Glencoe; his sisters and brother; Phyllis (Paul Smith) of Dieppe, Elaine (John Wheeler) of Alliston, Ontario, Marjorie (Gerald LeBrun) of Campbellton, Ricky of Millgrove, Ontario and Gina (Darren Matheson ) of Miramichi. He is also survived by a special friend Ann Cyr, many nieces, nephews and many wonderfully devoted friends.

He was a active member of the Garage Boys Club.

Lewis was predeceased by his beloved mother, Margaret Arseneau.

Gilles Chasse

Passed away at the City Hospital in Moncton on April 5, 2011 at the age of 50, Mr. Gilles Chasse. Born in Campbellton, he was the son of the late Roger Chasse and Gertrude Arseneault.

He leaves to mourn his partner Evelyn Baboulas of Campbellton, his son Chad Isaac, Campbellton, his sisters Jacqueline (Allan) Pollock of Tide Head and Lisa Richardson Campbellton, his brothers Claude (France) of Montreal, Denis (Anick) Victoriaville, Maurice (Noella) Campbellton, Camille (Lyne) Pointe-a-la-Garde and Daniel Campbellton. Also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Roy Sterling McKiel

Bathurst - Roy Sterling McKiel of Riverside Dr., Bathurst, passed away on Sunday April 10, 2011 at his residence at the beautiful age of 80.

Born in Campbellton he was the son of the late Fred John and Ada (Jardine) McKiel.

Besides his wife , Carol (McCallum) McKiel, he is survived by one son Fred (Jeanne) of South Tetagouche, two daughters, Karen McKiel (Bill Finlay) of Kitchener, ON., Darlene McKiel of Cayman Islands. Four step-children. Six grandchildren, David M. Diane, David C., Emma, Taylor, Alex. Three great grandchildren, Gregory, Abigail, Kathleen. Five step-grandchildren and one step-great-grandson. Six sisters, Rita McLaughlin of Tide Head, NB, Dorothy McKiel of Surrey, BC, Kathleen Littlewood of Courtice, On, Elsie Durocher (Jack) of Dryden ON, Lorna Cameron of Winnipeg MB, and Karen Baird (Ron) of Kitchener, ON. Several nieces and nephews.

He was pre-deceased by a son, Danny and a brother Robert.

Roy was in the military for 20 years, served overseas under NATO. He was an active member of the Herman J. Good, V.C. Br. 18 of the Royal Canadian Legion, Bathurst. He was retired from Brunswick Mines. He was a superb craftsman, whether it was working on vehicles or his love for wood work. He experienced many hobbies and interests in his life, from getting his pilot license, boating, camping and traveling, just to name a few. He was well known and well respected. He was a "Jack" of all trades" and a master of them all.

Irene Gwendolyn Parker

Mrs. Irene Gwendolyn Parker of Campbellton, passed away at her residence on April 7, 2011 at tha ge of 76.

Born in Montreal on December 7, 1934, she moved to Campbellton in the 1950's

Irene is survived by her husband John (Bud) Parker of Campbellton, son Tim Sansom (Diana) of Kingston ON, step children Joyce (Gilles), John (Karen) of Campbellton, Kevin (Brandy) of Alberta, Brian (deceased) and their 11 grandchildren.

Very active member with the local Legion, she was a LIfe Member with Ladies Auxiliary and 32 years as a member of Branch #19. Irene held numerous Executive Positions over the years.

She will be dearly missed by Bud as well as family and friends.

Louis Marie Levesque "Pitou or Tap"

Louis Marie Levesque, age 76, died quietly at his home in Pointe-a-la-Croix QC.

A long time resident of Campbellton NB, he was the youngest son of pre-dceceased parents Wilfred and Azilda (Langlois) Levesque.

Louis is survived by brother Yvon (Kathleen), Dieppe, NB, sisters Jeannine(Jean-Paul) Leblanc, Niagara Falls, ON, Anita (Guy) Guerette, Drummondville, QC, Germaine LeClair, Montreal and sister-in-law Nynn (Plourde) Levesque. He is fondly remembered by several nieces and nephews.

Pre-deceased by brothers Claude, Campbellton NB, Jacques, Regina, Sk and sister Juliette (Dechenes), Matane, QC.

Louis was employed in Campbellton for many years as a baggage handler for Canadian National Railway. In later years a simple back to nature lifestyle nurtured his soul.

Sister Pauline Armstrong

Sister Pauline Armstrong in religion, Sr. Amedee-Marie, f.j., of Monarch Hall in Riverview, passed away on Monday, April 11, 2011 at the Moncton Hospital, at the age of 76. She was in the 55th year of her religious profession. She was born on January 10, 1935 in Metaghan Station, NS, the daughter of the late Patrick Armstrong of Digby, NS and of the late Francoise Geddy of Meteghan Station, NS.

Besides her religious family, she is survived by one sister, Felice Beliveau of Meteghan River, NS and by several neices and nephews.

She was predeceased by one sister and four brothers.

Sister Pauline spent the first 10 years of her religious life as a teacher in Arichat and L'Ardoise in NS, as well as in Barachois, Dalhousie (St. John Bosco) and Rogersville in NB. Then from 1966 to 1988, she did missionary work in Honduras. Finally, from 1988 to 2003, she was director of a home for Handicapped in Pointe-de-l'Eglise (Saulnierville, NS)

In 2003, she felt the need to take some rest, so she moved to the Provincial House in Moncton, in 2008, she had to move to the infirmary. In 2010, she was transferrred with her sisters to Monarch Hall, in Riverview. On Friday April 8, she was taken to the Moncton Hospital where she passed away during her sleep between 2 a.m. and 6 a.m. on April 11, 2011.

Mary (Penny) Bowes

Mary Theora Spencer Bowes of Mann's Mountain, NB, passed away peacefully at the Campbellton Regional Hospital on January 10, 2011 at the age of 89. Born in Bathurst NB she was the daughter of the late John Eben Spencer and the late Agatha Hodgin.

She joined the Royal Canadian Air Force in 1942, when women became eligible, and at the time, she trained at Portage La Prairie, Manitoba.

She is survived by one brother, Stewart Spencer, of Surrey, BC one daughter Beverly Gaskell of Ontario one daughter, Ashley, also of Ontario several nieces & nephews, and step daughter, Mary Bowes Butler, of Miramichi.

Predeceased by two brothers, Tom Spencer and Bliss Spencer, one sister, Mildred Pitre, first husband, Harvey Adams and second husband, Edward Bowes.

Pallbearers were: Mary's neighbours and Friends: Vaughn Irvine, Danny Farrar, Archie Babcock, Morris Delaney, Clayton Moran and Robbie Lodge.
