Edward Noel
The death of Edward (Teddy) Noel of Jacquet River occurred on Sunday,April 2, 2011 at the Paliative Care Unit of St Joseph Hospital at the age of 80. Born in Jacquet River, he was the son of the late Anslem Noel and the late Agnes (Chambers) Noel.
He is survived by his sons Edward of Geary and Kevin of Fredericton; six granbdchildren and one great-grandson. He is also survived by his brothers Junior and Pius as well as his sisters Laetetia Hickey, Lillian Audit, Cora Cormier, Florence Brewer and Bernadette Carrier.
He was predeceased by his common-law wife Mary Ann Gallen, brothers Alonzo and Beverly and sister Carmeline Alpha.
Mary Elizabeth McBain
The death of Mary Elizabeth Simonson McBain of Eel River Bar occurred at her residence Tuesday, April 26, 2011 at the age of 84. Born in Bathurst, she was the daughter of the late Peter Thomas Narvie and the late Christianne (Prisk).
She is survived by her children Leona Lucier, Mabel Simonson, Gladys, Bjorndal, Richard (Patricia) all of Eel River Bar, Daughter Freda Simonson Simon (Timothey) of Eel Ground; step daughter Pearl Pelletier of Eel River Bar. She is also survived by her 23 grandchidren, 56 great-grandchildren, 18 great-great-grandchildren, brothers Benjamin and Gilbert Paul as well as her sisters Dorothy Prisk and Gloria Jean Jerome.
Mary was predeceased by her husband Henry, sons Harry and Ed; stepson David McBain;grandsons John and Keith Simonson, Robert Bjorndal; great granddaughter Lauren Renne Simon and two great-great-grandchildren Oakley Simonson and Calie Ann Pictou as well as several brothers, sister, nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers were Tom, Ron, Jade, Jason, Nick and Mike Simonson.
Harrison R. MacNeish
Passed away at the Campbellton Regional Hospital on April 23, 2011 at the age of 81, Mr. Harrison R. MacNeish. Born in Dalhousie on October 26, 1929, he was the son of the late George MacNeish and the late Frances MacPherson.
He leaves to mourn his wife Earlene (Clair), daughters Carla MacNeish-Maltais (Jude) of Campbellton Clair (Yvon Bilodeau) of Beasonsfield QC, son Geoffrey (Karla) Fredericton, brother Arthur (Marion) Point La Nim. Also survived by two grandsons Ryan and Jeffrey Maltais.
Predeceased by his father George MacNeish and mother Frances MacPherson.
Thomas Gallant
After a lenghty illness, Thomas Gallant passed away on April 17, 2011 at the age of 65 at the Campbellton Regional Hospital.
He was predeceased by his father Joseph Gallant, his mother Olive Flannigan Gallant, two sisters Shirley and Lorraine and a grandson Connor Gallant.
Tom leaves to mourn his wife Diane, three children Tom Jr. (Krista), Michelle (Serge), and Shawn (Priscilla), seven grandchildren Justin, Bradley, Mandy, Morgan, Jordan, Kacy and Tyler. He also leaves behind his sister Lita Thompson (Richard), several nieces and nephews, Brenda and Patty Smith and many other relatives.
Tom worked as an ambulance attendant and instructor for thirteen years and was awarded the Governor General's Medal for his service. He later worked for Canada Post Corporation where he later retired. He was also known as a taxi driver.
Judy Ellen Anderson
It is with great sadness that the Anderson family announces the passing of Judy on Friday April 29, 2011. Beloved sister of Roland.
She will be missed by her nieces Angie (Glenn) and their children Lindsay an dJennifer, Laurie (Pascal) Julie and all of the other members of the family and friends.
Judy was a devoted member of her church and was well liked by all who knew her.
