Adelore Legacey

The death of Adelore Legacey of 4 Mountain Rd., Campbellton, occurred in Campbellton on January 4, 2006, at the age of 79.

Born in Bathurst on February 25, 1926, he was the son of the late Harry Lagacé and the late Edith Lavigne. Adelore worked for 35 years for Glazier Mechanic. He was also a veteran of World War II and member of the Knights of Columbus.

Surviving is wife Rolande LeBlanc, daughters Micheline Warren, Linda Legacey, Marlene Westermieir from Edmonton, Alberta, Monique (Paul) Robitaille, Claudette (Tod Therrien) of Ajax, Ontario, Sonya (Guillaume) Levesque of Montreal, Quebec, sons Rhéal LeBlanc (Manon) of Bathurst, NB, and Benoit LeBlanc (Tammy) of Kirkland, Quebec, sisters Thérèse Thompson of Trenton, Ontario, sister-in-law Blanche Legacy, brothers Doug (Lena), Len (Andrea), Bennett (Stella), William (Geneva), Pitou (Geraldine), and Ernest (Yvette). Also surviving are 14 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren.

Predeceasing him were his parents Harry and Edith, brothers Henry and George and sister Jeannine.

The funeral was held from Mary Queen Church in Richardsville, on January 7, 2006, officiated by Rev. Morrison, with interment in the McLeod's Cemetery in the spring. Pallbearers were Rheal LeBlanc, Ben LeBlanc, Guillaume Levesque, Paul Robitaille, Jacques Pitre and Michel Pitre. Honourary pallbearers were Doug Legacey, Ernest Legacey, William Legacy, Edward Legacy, Leonard Legacy and Bennett Legacy. Funeral arrangements were placed in the care of Maher's Funeral Home, Campbellton.

Bernard (Bunny) Legacy

The death of Bernard (Bunny) Legacy of Jacquet River, Husband of Ann (Arsenault), occurred Sunday, January 8, 2006, at the Bathurst Regional Hospital at the age of 64 after a courageous battle with cancer.

Born in Becketville, he was the son of the late Norman Legacy and Helen McGregor.

He is survived by his wife Ann, son Paul of Fredericton, daughters Cathy Barrett (Kevin) of Liverpool, Cindy McLaughlin (Pat) of Rothesay, 4 grandchildren Kellen Barrett, Marta Barrett, Drew McLaughlin, and Emma McLaughlin. Also surviving are his brother Bill of Dalhousie, and his sister Ann Jackman of Whitecourt, Alberta.

His funeral was held from Saint Gabriel Church, Jacquet River, Tuesday, January 10, 2006, officiated by Father David Ferguson with burial in the parish cemetery in the spring. Pallbearers were- Fidele Legacy, Francis Arsenault, Claude Doucet, Frank Guitard, Cameron Dempsey, Patrick McLaughlin, and Kevin Barrett. Funeral arrangements were in the care of MacMillan's Funeral Home Black Point.

George Richardson

The death of George Richardson of Riverview, and formerly of Dalhousie, occurred Tuesday, January 03, 2006, at the Moncton City Hospital at the age of 79.

Born in Charlo, he was the son of the late Jim Richardson and Mary Patles. George worked at Dalhousie Pulp and Paper for 44 years until his retirement in 1988.

He is survived by his wife Marie, sons Jim of Winnipeg, Edmond of Dalhousie, Terry of Dalhousie, John (Wendy) of Winnipeg, daughters Linda Cupelli (Steve) of Shediac, Barbara Boudreau (Junior) of Grand Lake, 15 grandchildren, 8 great grandchildren, sisters Margaret Alexander, Mildred Murphy, and Elizabeth Vicaire. He was predeceased by his brothers Gilbert, Jimmy, Edmond and Alec Vicaire.

His funeral was held Saturday, January 07, 2006, at St. Joseph's Church, Nash Creek, officiated by Father David Ferguson, with burial in the parish cemetery in the spring. Pallbearers were grandsons Stephen Cupelli, Dallas Richardson, Scott Richardson, Robbie Richardson, Matthew Richardson, and Shawn Richardson. Honorary Pallbearers were Tom Curry, Junior Boudreau, Trafton Marchand, Jonathan Boudreau and Calvert LaPointe. George will be remembered as an incredibly loving, warm, generous, and kind man. Irene LaBillois

The death of Irene LaBillois of Eel River Bar, NB, occurred at the Campbellton Regional Hospital on January 4, 2006, at the age of 58.

Born in Eel River Bar, she was the daughter of the late John LaBillois and Marion Simonson. Irene was employed as a Janitor with Heritage Gardens on the Eel River Bar.

Surviving is her common-law husband Daniel Bourdage, her mother Marion LaBillois, her daughter Shelly LaBillois, her sons Derrick, Joey and Jonathan, her grandson Zachery, her sisters Jenny Peter Paul, Patricia Simonson, Nora LaBillois and Jean Caplin, and her brothers Hubert, Lenny, Ernest and Bob. She is also survived by eight grandchildren.

The funeral was held from St. John Bosco Church in Dalhousie on January 6, 2006, officiated by Rev. William Arseneau, with interment in St. John the Baptist Cemetery, Dalhousie in the spring. Funeral arrangements were placed in the care of Maher's Funeral Home, Dalhousie.

Shirley B. (Lawlor) Warren

The death of Shirley B. (Lawlor) Warren, of Dalhousie, occurred at the Campbellton Regional Hospital on December 28, 2005, at the age of 69.

Born in Matapedia, PQ, she was the daughter of the late Gordon Lawlor and the late Mona Murray. Shirley worked for many years as a cafeteria supervisor.

Surviving are her daughters Cathy Warren of Dalhousie, Joy (David) Berthelot of Campbellton, and Pam (Eddy) Traer of Dalhousie Junction, her son Roy Warren of Dalhousie, her brothers Joe Lawlor and Pete Lawlor, as well as 11 grandchildren. She is also survived by her half-sisters Linda Galssen, Laurie Traicus and Cindy Lawlor. Predeceasing her were her parents Gordon and Mona, her husband Buddy (Vernon) Warren, her daughter Shirley, and her brother Danny.

The funeral was held from St. Mary's Anglican Church in Dalhousie on December 31, 2005, officiated by Rev. Andrew Fraser, with interment in the New Mills Cemetery in the spring. Pallbearers were John David Berthelot, Brad Traer, James Moody, Mathieu Berthelot, Mathieu Bernier, and Wesley McKinley. Funeral arrangements were placed in the care of Maher's Funeral Home, Dalhousie.
