C. Darrell (Buzz) Cochrane
It is with great sadness that the family of Buzzie Cochrane, 72 of Moncton announce his passing at the Moncton Hospital, on Saturday June 11, following a battle with dementia and kidney failure. Born in Campbellton he was the son of the late Aubrey and Edith (Nelson) Cochrane.
Buzz is survived by his wife of 38 years, Phyllis (Dealy) and son, Darren, four brothers; David and Ken (Carmelle) both of Riverview, Barry of Moncton and Billy (Bonnie) of Truro, NS, his sisters; Helen, Sheila and Sally all of Moncton, Cathy (Yvon) Doiron of Riverview and Nancy (Leo Paul) of Campbellton.
Besides his parents he was predeceased by two infant sisters, Zita and Sharon.
Elizabeth Betty Law
Passed away at her residence on June 5, 2011 at the age of 73, Mrs Elizabeth Betty Law of Tide Head.
She leaves to mourn her children Greg (Diane) Robert (Elaine), Peggy (Mike) and Cindy (Kim), her sisters June (Denzil), Lois (Don), Sharon (Don) and Jacqueline (Ozzie) her brothers Alfred (Frieda), Glen (Greta) and Sonny. Also survied by her 12 grandchildren and 3 great-grandsons. Predeceased by her husband Donald, her parents Elmer and Bertha Harvey, her sister Isabel and infant brother John.
Holten MacKenzie Duncan
Passed away at the Campbellton Regional Hospital on June 9, 2011 at the age of 86, Mr Holten MacKenzie Duncan of Campbellton. Born in Campbellton on January 26, 1925, he was the son of the late Holten Henry Duncan and Leila MacKenzie.
Mac worked for a time with the Dept. of Agriculture in NS and then for the CN for 32 years.
He was a member of the Loyal Orange Lodge and a member of First United Church, where he served as Clerk of the Session.
He leaves to mourn his children, Wendall (Moores Mills), Pam (Campbellton ) and Wayne (Dartmouth), grandson Jonathan and great grandson Nicholas of Fredericton.
He is predeceased by his late wife Irene Holten of Windsor, NS.
Denis Lapointe
Dundee: with great sorrow hos passed away on Tuesday June 7, 2011, Mr. Denis Lapointe at the age of 62. He was the son of the late Herman and Alice Lapointe.
He was an employee of the Nursing Home in Dalhousie for 37 years.
He is survived by his wife Joan, his three sons Kenny (Laurie) from Eel River, Gary from Dundee and Kevin (Isavelle) from Shediac, his grandchildren that he adored Haley, Logan, Mayla, Tyler, Brayden, his brothers Donald, Delphis, Michel and Roger from Dundee, his sisters Doreen, Diane, Linda, Barbara Anne, several nieces, nephews and friends.
Denis is predeceased by two brothers Jean-Claude and Ronnie.
