Halton (Olden) Carrier

It is with deep regret that we announce the passing of Halton (Olden) Carrier, 69 years of age in Chateauguay, QC, after a brief illness. Born in Lorne he was the son of the late Leo and Evangeline (Lavigne) Carrier.

Pre-deceased by his first wife Lydia (Fournier) Carrier. Mourned by his loving family wife Lorraine Levesque, his children, Jeannie Doucet (Hurley) of Bathurst, Lee (Lynn Roy) of Petit Rocher, Ron of Halifax, NS, Carey of St John, Shyla Monette (Peter) of Ottawa, and Step-daughter Danielle Simard of Chateauguay. Loving grandfather of Michael and Jennica Doucet of Bathurst and Kendra Monette of Ottawa.

Also mourned by his sisters, brothers, nieces and nephews. Pre-deceased by sister Ethel Kelum and brothers Godfrey, Jean-Guy and Armand.

Employed by Noranda for over 39 years at Belledune Smelter until his retirement in 1996.

Jean McKinnon

The passing of Jean Elizabeth McKinnon (nee MacCormack) occurred on Sunday Oct 24, 2010 after a brief illness at Bramalea Ontario at the age of 80.

She was born in Campbellton Sept., 15th, 1930 and was the daughter of the late William MacCormack and Elizabeth Murchie of Black Land.

She is survived by three daughters, Gloria (Graham) Pah, Calgary AB, Sheila (Ron) Leslie, Langdon AB and Gaye (Rick) Ellis, Kelowna BC. One son Bryan (Fiona) of Bramalea, On., and her former husband Rae McKinnon of Upsalquitch. Seven grandchildren, Dean (Marcee), Mollie, Nikki, Melissa, Jordyn, Shawn and Craig and her two great-granddaughters Morgan and Payton two nieces and three nephews.

She was predeceased by her parents and two sisters Edna Vincent and Marian Cooling and an infant daughter Sharon Rae. Jean taught in several schools in Northern NB before moving with her family to Toronto in 1960. She was church organist at the Upsalquitch United Church for ten years, 1950-1960, before moving to Ontario. She was active in church activities and a C.G.I.T. leader. She graduated in the Health Care System and Health Care Assistant from Baycrest Jewish Geriatric Centre in Toronto in 1967 and Sheridan College in Oakville in 1975. She retired ain 1996 from a dedicated career at Tullamore Nursing Home in Brampton, Ontario.

Bernadette A. Doucet
1924-2011

On June 28th, 2011, Mrs Bernadette Doucet of Campbellton passed away at the Campbellton Regional Hospital. She is the wife of Mr. J. Edgar Doucet and the daughter of the late Eliane Gaudet and late Alfred LeBlanc.

Besides her husband, Edgar, she will be sadly missed by her children: Edith (Raymond Roy) of Campbellton, Roger (Marie Richard) of Fredericton, Louis (Edna Pelletier) of Dieppe, Claire of Moncton, Denise (Gilles Leger) of St Antoine and Daniel of Campbellton, her eight grandchildren: Renee, Mathieu, Josee, Francois, Joey, Michel, Etienne, and Andre; her brother Roland of Pre-d'en-Haut; her sisters: Flore-Yvonne of Moncton, Donalda of Dalhousie and Emelda of Moncton and by many members of the Doucet's family, nieces, nephews and friends.

She was predeceased by her parents, her brothers; Jean-Alfred and Raynald.
