Phyllis Naomi Bryant

It is with great sadness that the family of Phyllis Naomi Bryant of Campbellton announce her death which occurred at the Campbellton Regional Hospital on July 21, with her loving family by her side.
Born in Highfield, Hants County, Nova Scotia, she was the daughter of the late Watson Benedict and the late Ethel Benedic (Sanford).
Devoted member of the First Baptist Church, she was until recent years deeply involved in all church activities and taught Sunday School for over 40 years. Mom was also a life member of the Women's Missionary Society. She enjoyed being a volunteer Pastoral visitor at the local hospital as well as providing church services for the Village Nursing Home. Mom was a true friend to all who knew her. Her loving disposition and down-to-earth honesty was shared over a cup of tea to all those whose steps led them to her home. She was an avid scrabble player and enjoyed a good game of Queens.
Survived by her three daughters, Linda Bryant of Campbellton, Colleen (Wayne) Burlock of moncton, Esther (Graydon Jr) Irvine of Mann's Settlement, Quebec. Also survied by two sons, William Bryant of Port McNeil, BC, and Todd (Cheryl) Bryant of Campbell River BC. She is also survived by eight grandchildren: Melody, Clarence, Darren, Kyle, Hiedi, Scott, Lee, and Sarah; and three great grandchildren; Bradley, Samuel and Linnea. She is also survived by two sisters: Beulah (Gerald) MacBurnie and Effie (Lowell) Spencer of Nova Scotia. Predeceased by her husband, William Herbert, brothers: Clinton Victor and Morris and Sisters, Grace, Evangeline, Iona, and Rita. Also survieving are brother-in-law James (Phyllis) Bryant and sister-in-laws Marie Maisey, Margaret (Chris) Rasmussen and Marjorie Bryant.
Pallbearers were : William Bryant Jr, Todd Bryants, Clarence Burlock, Darren Burlock, Kyle Irvine and Scott Irvine. Honorary pallbearers were: Wyane Burlock, Graydon Irvine Jr., Frank Brooks, Murdock Mann, Robert McLellan, Donald Hume, Jerry Woodworth and Ronald Court.
John Parker (Bud)
John Leslie Parker (Bud), 75 passed away of a heart attack on July 20, 2011 at his home in Campbellton.
He was predeceased by his wife Irene and leaves behind daughter Joyce (Gilles), John (Karen) of Campbellton, Kevin (Brandy) of Alberta, Brian (deceased), step son Tim Sansom (Diana) of Kingston Ontario and his 11 grandchildren.
Born August 11, 1935, he joined the army at a young age and moved away to see the world. After living in Ontario for years he moved back to Campbellton to retire.
Very active with the local Legion he was a Life Member with 40 plus years, as a member of Branch #19. John held numerous executive positions over the years.
He will be deadly missed by family and friends.
Robert "Bob" Irving
Passed away at the Campbellton Regional Hospital on July 24, 2011 at the age of 103, Mr. Robert "Bob" Irving of Dalhousie. Born in Flatlands, he was the son of the late William Irving and the late Annie Wafer.
He was a World War || veteran and a member of the Royal Canadian Legion Branch No. 17. He worked at the NBIP until he retired in 1972.
He leaves to mourn his wife Florence Winchester Irving, his daughter Jean Barristo of Dalhousie. Also survived by a granddaughter Susan Barristo of Moncton, a great grandson Corey Woods of Moncton, a great great grandson Easton Woods of Moncton, several nieces and nephews.
Predeceased by his sisters Frances and Della, brothers Lawson, Henry and Randolph.
Victor Gallant
1916-2011
The death of Victor Gallant of Campbellton occurred at the Palliative Care Unit of the Campbellton Regional Hospital on Monday July 18, 2011 at the ageof 94.
Born in Pointe a la Garde PQ, he was the son of the late Joseph Gallant and the late Celina (Laviolette).
Victor is survived by his son Leopold Thibeault and wife Raymonde (McLeod's), his daughter Lucienne Deleavey and husband Emery (Campbellton), his daughter Juliette Waltons (London Ontario), his daughter Yvelle Veltman and husband Joe (Hamilton, Ontario), his grandchildren Rene Bourgoin, Lise Bourgoin, Rodney Veltman and Jason Landry. Predeceased by his son Charles Thibeault.
