Harold Cedric Furlotte

The death of Harold Cedric (Chicky) Furlotte of Bathurst and formerly of Jacquet River occurred at the Chaleur Regional Hospital January 13, 2012 at the age of 82. Born in Jacquet River he was the son of the late Alexander and Emma Duguay Furlotte.

Chicky served in the military for thirty years. He was a vehicle technician and served with both the Royal Canadian Dragoons and later the Royal Canadian Electrical Mechanical Engineers. He served his country in Korea, Germany as well as Egypt. Chicky was an active member in the community and especially with the local Jacquet River Lions Club where he held numerous positions in the club including past president of the Jacquet River Legion.

He is survived by his wife Mary; daughters Catherine Duval (Robert) of Springfield Mass., Deborah White (David Spence) of West Virginia, Connie Lewis (Matthew) of Toronto; son Blair (Karen) of Fredericton; six grandchildren, two great grandchildren as well as his sister Alma Calvert of Fredericton.

He was predeceased by his first wife Bonita and brothers Odell, Eugene, Kenny and Douglas.

Pallbearers were fellow legion members; Regent Firlotte, Raymond Shannon, Allan Roy, Michael Anderson, James Dempsey and Earl Hickey.

Angele Godin

Passed away at the Campbellton Regional Hospital on January 20, 2012 at the age of 7. Angele Godin of Richardsville.

Angele is survived by her mother Linda Francoeur, father Yves Godin, grandmother Alicia Godin, grandfather Leo-Paul Francoeur, her aunts and uncles Denise and Paul Chauvin, Lynn and Peter Legacy, Monique and Jean Paul Doucet, Carole and Scott Levesque, Linda and Fabian Francoeur, Sylvie and Donald Kerr, Carole Landry and Randy Muxworthy and Andree Godin. Also survived by 26 cousins.

Ann Durette

Ann Marie Jean Durette of Dawson Street, Miramichi passed away Monday, January 16 in the evening at Miramichi Regional Hospital, at the age of 67. Born in Campbellton, she was the daughter of the late Maurice and Mary (Parker) St Laurent.

She was a retired cook at Hotel Dieu Hospital in Campbellton and also a member of St Mark's United Church.

She is survived by her daughter Debra Halley (Martin Leger) of Miramichi and her son, Ron (Lisa) Durette of Miramichi. As well, two sisters, Audrey Brown (LynnBerube) of Campbellton and Arlene St Laurent of Fredericton and three brothers, Roger St Laurent of Montreal Rollie St Laurent of Tracadie and Mike St Laurent (Glenda) of London ON. She is also survieved by one granddaughter, Leigha Durette and nieces and nephews.

She was predeceased by her parents.

Rosaire Pelletier

Passed away at the Campbellton Regional Hospital on January 17, 2012 at the age of 84, Mr. Rosaire Pelletier of Dundee.

He leaves to mourn his daughter Manon (Jacques) from Dundee, his sons Michel (Patricia) Dundee, Rejean (Francine) Atholville, Serve (Denise) Edmonton, Alberta, Mario (Lynn) Beresford, Marc (Rebecca) Moncton and Ghislain (Judy) Bathurst. Also survived by his 12 grandchildren and six great-grandchildren, one sister Rita from Laval, Qc.

Predeceased by his wife Donia Arseneault, one grandson Alex, 11 brothers and sisters.
