Jean Renouf Firth

We would like to announce the passing of Jean Renouf Firth on Sunday August 14, 2011 at the age of 56. Beloved wife of Whitney (Butch) Firth. Jean was a long time employee of the Village Nursing Home.

Loving mother to Ann Archibald, George Archibald (Nanette) and step son Mario Fallu (Allison), sister to Phillip Renouf, Cathy McGarvie (Raymond), Mel Renouf, Arden Renouf and Donna Renouf (Bernie). Jean was a loving and doting grandmother to Kyle, Stephanie, Jessica and Lucas as well as an aunt to many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her parents George and Marielle Renouf, brothers Jimmy and Terry Renouf.

Pallbearers were Steven Renouf, Arden Renouf, Kerwin Firth and Bernie O`Neil.

Evangeline Valley

Evangeline Valley, daughter of Marguerite and Lazare Poirier, passed away peacefully at the age of 98 on August 20th, 2011 at 2:30 a.m.

Widow of Omer Valley, she was survived by her three children; Jimmy Valley (wife Alice) of Charlo, Andre Valley (wife Suzanne) of Chicoutimi and Anne Savoie (husband Luc) of Ottawa. Evangeline also had a daughter, Therese who died at the young age of five years old. She had four grandchildren; Marco, Michel, Natalie, and Danielle and four greatgrandchildren; Gabrielle, Chloe, Anika, and Isabelle. She had eight brothers and sisters; Edgard (deceased), Leonel, David, Arthur, Therese (deceased), Gemma, Maurice and George.

Mariette Firlotte

The death of Mrs Mariette Firlotte of Jacquet River occurred on Wednesday, August 17, 2011 at the age of 86. Born in Beauport, QC., she was the daughter of the late Romeo and Georgina Gagnon.

Mariette is survived by her sons; Regent (Pamela) and Michael (Margaret) of Jacquet River and daughter Gemma of Belledune; grandchildren; Tyson, Ashley, Michael, Chad, Trevor and Tania Firlotte; great-grandchildren; Haley and Bradon Firlotte; her sisters; Theresa Bradon Firlotte, her sisters; Theresa Valee, Anita St Jean, Gemma Gagnon, Aline Genois and Gisele Gagne.

Beside her parents, she was predeceased by her husband Desmond, her brothers; Louis and Rosaire, and sisters; Rose Aimee and Yvette.

Pallbearers were Michael, Regent, Michael, Ryan, Tyson, Ashley and Chad.

Rita Dugas

The death of Rita Dugas (nee Parker) of Richardsville occurred at the Campbellton Nursing Home on Thursday August 18, 2011 at the age of 86.

She is survived by her daughters; Alice Clair (Edison) of Moncton, Doris Tarett(Don) of Dalhousie Junction, and Lucille Young (David) of McLeods. Also survived by her five grandchildren; Gregg Clair (Shelley) of Moncton. Lesley Clair (Pat) of Halifax, Trevor Targett (Heather) of Dalhousie Junction, Troy Targett (Jill) of Charlo, and Ryan Young (Pam) of Fredericton and four great grandchildren; Chandler Clair, Chase, Paige and Thomas Targett as well as her siblings Alice, Roger (Parker) and Germaine Lavigne, nieces and nephews.

She was predeceased by her husband Paul N. Dugas, her father Charles T. Parker, her mother Suzanne Ferlatte, also brothers Leo, Paul and Robert Parker and a grandson Lance Young.

The family wishes to thank the doctors nurses and staff of the Campbellton Nursing Home for the great care given to their mother during her stay and also for their compassionate care in her final days.

Pallbearers were the five grandchildren: Gregg Clair, Trevor Targett, Lesley Clair, Troy Targett, Ryan Young and niece Linda Lavigne Tait.
