Anne Marie Guitard

The death of Anne Marie Guitard of Charlo occurred on September 10, 2011 at the age of 56. Born in Eel River Crossing, she was the daughter of the late Romeo Leclair and Marialine (Levesque).

She is survived by her daughters Chantal Guitard (Gary) of Belledune, Lise Parise (Eric) of Dieppe; three grandchildren Brad and Samantha Guitard and Maxime Parise. She is also survived by her brothers Gilles and Roland as well as her sisters Rosa, Yvette and Dora.

Anne Marie was predeceased by her brother Dino and Adalard.

Julien Guitard

The death of Julien Guitard of Charlo occurred on September 10, 2011 at the age of 59. Born in Belledune, he was the son of Valida (Guitard) and the late Samuel Guitard.

He is survived by his daughters Chantal Guitard (Gary) of Belledune, Lise Parise (Eric) of Dieppe; three grandchildren Brad and Samantha Guitard and Maxime Parise. He is also survived by his brothers Donald, Andrew, Emile, Sylvain, Gerald; sisters Sylvie Guitard, Yvette LaPointe, Mary Ann Guitard and Simone Thibodeau.

Gregory Joseph Harrison
1939-2011

Greg Harrison passed away at the Saint John General Hospital on September 12, 2011 following heart surgery. He was the son of Tony and Rita Harrison, who both predeceased him, and the husband of Gertrude Jalbert.

He leaves to mourn three sons; Shawn (Brenda Lee) of Saint John and their daughters Emily and Elizabeth, Keith (Julie) of Port Stanley, Ontario, and their children Liam and Maggie and Neil (Rupinder) of Toronto, Greg will also be missed by his brothers Lloyd of Dalhousie and Charles of Oreillia, Ont, his nieces Cheryl, Natalie and Kellie and nephew Kenneth. He will be equally missed by sister-in-law Kathryn (Don) Dalling of Saint John, and sons Scott and Stephen, as well as brother-in-law James Jalbert (Pierrette) and sons, James Jr. and Vincent and their families.

The family wishes to thank the nursing staff of ICU at Saint John General and Dr Forgie for the wonderful care and compassion and especially niece Kellie for her excellent care and support in ICU at the hospital.

Lionel Caissy

Passed away at his residence on September 7, 2011 at the age of 88, Mr. Lionel Caissy of Richardsville, son of the late Georges Caissy and Marie Parent.

He leaves to mourn his wife of 60 years Simone Parise Caissie and his six children Yvonne (Claude Lemieux, Campbellton), Adrienne (Ron Parker, Campbellton), Charles (Lorraine Audet, Campbellton), Therese (Roger Boudreau, McLeod), Rene (Denise Maltais, Glencoe) and Andre (Jenny Tremblay, Campbellton), 15 grandkids, many great grandkids, nieces and nephews.

Predeceased by his eight brothers Eugene, Jean, Arthur, Philias, Donat, Frank, Alphonse, and Paul and five sisters Blanche, Milina, Adele, Lucianne and Josephine.

He was a veteran of the Second World War and part of the 22nd regiment La Chaudiere that landed in Normandie (D-Day)

He will be sadly missed by his family and always stay engraved in our memories and hearts.

Randolph Joseph Doucette

Randy Doucette, age 72, of Moncton, passed away suddenly at his home on Monday September 12, 2011 following a brief illness. Born in Campbellton, Randy was the son of the late Auroroe and Albert Doucette. Randy lived much of his life in Campbellton before moving to Moncton in 1997.

He will be remembered for his kind heart, sense of humour, love of music and for his wonderful singing voice.

Randy was much loved and will be greatly missed by his family and many friends.

He is survived by his sisters, Lucy Donovan (Patrick) and Evelyn Kierstead (Ron) of Moncton, Merilda ray (Walter) of Campbellton, Ida MacDonald (Ben) of Fredericton and Ethel Wright of Lake Worth, Florida. He is also survived by his former wife, Fredonia Roy of Campbellton; David Allison, his close friend of twenty-five years; many nieces and nephews and his beloved dog, Bailey.

In addition to his parents, Randy was predeceased by his brothers, Robert, Louis, Ernest, Gilbert and Damase; his sisters, Laura Ouellette (Angus), Anita Bernier (Rene) and Viola LeClair (John).

Rhoda Carson

It is with great sadness that the family announces the death of Rhoda Arthurene Carson of Campbellton which occurred at the Campbellton Regional Hospital on Thursday September 8, 2011 at the age of 83.

Born in Barkers Point, NB on November 15, 1927 she was the daughter of the late Gilbert and Clara (Smith) Jordan and was the wife of the late William J. Carson. She was a member of the United Pentecostal Church of Tide Head.

Rhoda is survived by one son, Fred (Juanita) Carson of Islandview; three daughters, Clara Carson-Maston of Sussex, Maude (Pat) McSorley of Penniac and Rhoda (Murray) Carrier of Atholville; six grandchildren; four step-grandchildren; six great grandchildren; 11 step-great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

She was the last surviving member of her immediate family. In addition to her parents and huisband, Rhoda was predeceased by her brothers, Percy, Ralph, Gilbert, Gerald and Eldon; and sisters, Pansy, Arthurene and Clara.
