Arnold Clevette
1928-2011

At the Campbellton Regional Hospital on Friday September 30th 2011 at the age of 83, passed away Mr. Arnold Clevette of Campbellton, husband of Mrs. Jeannette (Borris) Clevette.

Born in Malauze, he was the son of the late Janie Roy and late John Alexander Clevette.

Besides his wife, Mrs. Jeannette of Campbellton, he will be sadly missed by children: Michael (Noella Dobson) of Campbellton, Wanda (Wade Carrier) of Campbellton, Randolph (Yolande Ratte) of Niagara Falls, Ralph (Denise Mailloux) of Campbellton, Deborah (Keith Perron) of Val d'Amour and Kimberly (Robert Jr. Beaulieu) of Moncton; his grandchildren; Jason, Jessica, Matthew, Jeremy, Wade Arnold Jr., Sommers, Julie, Marie-France, Scott and Terry; his great grandchildren; Erica, Kassandra, Johathan, Thomas, Joshua, Aaron, Sophie-Grace, Milan and James; his sisters and brothers; Kathleen Borris of Niagara Falls, Ont., Velerie Ouellette of Campbellton, Edna Girard of Etobicoke, Ont., Stanley Clevette of Niagara Falls, Ont., and Mariane Dobson (John) of Campbellton and by many nieces, nephews, sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law and friends.

He was predeceased by his parents, brothers Donald & Paul, his sisters; Irene and Francis.

Maurice Roussel
1952-2011

At the Campbellton Regional Hospital on September 29, 2011 at the age of 58, have passed away accidentally Mr. Maurice Roussel of Cross Point, Qc., husband of Mrs. Darlene Gallant.

Born in Campbellton, he was the son of Mrs. Antoinette Martin and the late Desire Roussel.

Besides his wife, Darlene of Cross Point, he will be sadly missed by his children; Ronald (Lisa Lagace) of St-Elzear de Beauce, Qc, Mireille (Mathieu Demers) of Boucherville, Qc & Chantal of Moncton; his randchildren; Lauriane, Marie & Mael; his beloved mother, Mrs. Antoinette Martin of Cross Point; his brothers; Charles Aube of Joliette, Qc, Serge (Mireille Savoie) of Cross Point, Jean-Roch (Sylvie Arseneault) of Cross Point, Pierre(Lorraine LeBlanc) of Restigouche-Sud-Est & Donald (Akler Henriquez) of Montreal, also by many nieces, nephews, brothers-in-law , sisters-in-law and friends.

He was predeceased by his father Desire Roussel.

Agathe Garvie

Passed away at her residence on Oct 2, 2011 at the age of 93, Mrs. Agathe Garvie of Eel River Crossing. Born in Val D'Amour on April 7, 1918, she was the daughter of the late Eloi Bouchard and the late Helene Lagace.

She leaves to mourn her children Helene Gary (Lokesh) PEI, Simonne Leclair (Denis) Eel River Crossing, Edouard Moncton, Marcel (Agathe) Bertrand, Roger (Debbie) Balmoral, Alice Young (Brian) PEI, Marie Poirier (Romain) Balmoral, Maurice (Evelyn) St Bruno, QC, Jeannette Doucet (Claude) Eel River Crossing, Therese Edmundston, Roland (Michelle) Edmundston, Lina Eel River Crossing, Yvette Gallan Fredericton and Gisele Joudry (Bill) Saint John, one sister Therese Savoie Dundee, one sister-in-law Geraldine Bouchard St Jean Baptiste. Also survived by her 24 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.

Predeceased by her husband Eddie Garvie, her son Jean and many brothers, sisters, nephews and nieces.

Yvonne Wilson

Passed away at the Campbelltonb Regional Hospital on Oct 2, 2011 at the age of 65. Mrs. Yvonne Wilson of Val D'Amour, Born in Campbellton on February 15, 1946, she was the daughter of the late Simon Aubut and the late Marie-Anne Guitard.

She leaves to mourn her daughters Marie-Rose Roy of Quebec, Stephanie Roy (Luc) Atholville and Cathie Lee (Al) of Moncton, her sons Georges Roy (Marie-Josette) and Henry Roy of Val D'Amour, and Allain Wilson Moncton, her brothers Gerard Aubut (Bonnie) of Alberta, Julien Aubut (Irene) Campbellton, Lionel Aubut Dalhousie, Ronald Aubut (Colette) Charlo, Jean Claude Aubut Quebec and Aurel Aubut Campbellton, her sisters Nicole Rattie (Paul-Emile) Quebec and Julia Aubut Quebec. Also survived by her 14 grandchildren and 19 great-grandchildren.

Predeceased by her husband Lesley Wilson, her mother Marie-Anne (Nena) Aubut, her father Simon Aubut and her sister Simonne Lanteigne.

Andree Cardinal
1930-2011

At the Campbellton Regional Hospital on Tuesday, September 27, 2011 at the age of 81, have passed away Mrs. Andree Cardinal of Dalhousie, wife of the late Claude Cardinal. Born in Riviere-du-Loup, Quebec, she was the daughter of the late Jeannette Cloutier and the late Antonio Roussel.

She will be sadly missed by her daughters; Linda (Rejean Cormier) of Balmoral and Joanne Cardinal of Dalhousie; her grandchildren; Annie, Caroline and Emilie; her sister Marcelle (Marius Belzile) of Rimouski, her brother Jean-Marie Roussel of St Foy Qc., also by many members of the Roussel family, nieces, nephews, and friends.

She was predeceased by her husband Claude, son Denis and her parents.

Reginald Boudreau
1922-2011

At the Campbellton Village Nursing Home on Monday, September 26, 2011 at the age of 89, have passed away Mr. Reginald Boudreau of Campbellton, husband of Therese Boudreau. Born in Waterville, Maine, he was the son of the late Lucie Bourg and the late Arthur Boudreau.

He will be sadly missed by his children; Huguette (Gilles Gallant) of Point La Nim, Patrick of Campbellton, and Robert (Sue Nason) of Saint John NB; his grandchildren; Elizabeth and Louise; great grandchildren; Collin and Carissa; his sisters and brothers; Lucille Doucet of Campbellton, Georges Boudreau (Gisele) of Toronto, Rita Fournier of Pointe Verte, Jeannine Keeley of Moncton and Raoul Boudreau of Niagara Falls also by many members of the Laliberte family, nieces, nephews and friends.

He was predeceased by his parents, brothers and sisters; Gertrude, Romeo, Eveline and Eugene.

Alice Stewart

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Alice Stewart of Campbellton formerly of Moncton, at the Campbellton Regional Hospital, on Tuesday October 4, 2011.

She was predeceased by her husband Percy Alan Stewart as well as three sisters and two brothers.

Alice is survived by one sister Blanche Mann of Campbellton. She is also survived by her daughter Gayle Legere (Maurice) of Dalhousie and her son Terry Stewart of Fredericton, five grandchildren Angela, Jennifer, Steven, Kim and Michel and two great grandchildren Chloe and Carter.

She was a member of the First Baptist Church in Campbellton

She will be sadly missed by her friends and family and also by her friends and family and also by her friends at the Dalhousie Nursing Home.

Raymond J. Savoie

After a lenghty illness at the age of 90, the death of Raymond Savoie, husband of Leona Savoie (Arsenault) occurred peacefully at the Dalhousie Palliative Care Unit on October 5, 2011.

Born in Dalhousie (1921) a decorated WW11 Veteran, Legion and Knights of Columbus member and respected local businessman, he operated Ray's Contracting for many years.

He is survived by two sons, Gerry, Tommy (Gisele), three daughters Linda (Glen), Andrea (Waymen), Claire (John), daughter-in-law Paula, ten grandchildren and seven great gradchildren, a sister Pearl Harris.

Predeceased by a son Michael sister Opal Brown and brother Frank Savoy.

Journey Ended - Journey Begun

On September 29, 2011 Peter left his earthly home to journey on to be with his parents, family and friends. He passed away at the Campbellton Regional Hospital at the age of 82.

He leaves behind to mourn his wife Geraldine of 55 years and three daughters Beverly, Dawn (Snider) and Anita (Ron), grandchildren Eric, Lori-Ann, Leah and Duke, great grandchildren Kennedy, Bailey, Hannah, Harley and Fox, two brothers Dan and Mark, many nieces and nephews.

Peter will be joining his two grandsons Timo and Little Ray in the great "gravel-pit" in the sky, his great granddaugter Candace, his parents Bertha and Dan, his brother Henry, his sisters Mona and Corrine.

The family would like to thank Dr. C. MacDonald - Peter's physician of over thirty years, Dr. Whalen, nurse practicioner - Theresa Thompson, the staff of the Medical and Palliative care unit of the Campbellton Regional Hospital, Dr. Cormier and staff of the Benoit Martin unit of the Maria Hospital, for the care given by all of them to Peter.

Thank you also to the many individuals who donated food, flowers and expressions of sympathy, to Father Landry. The Honourable Graydon Nicholas, Brenda Murray, St. Ann's Choir and Simon Dedam, to the Pallbearers; Clifford Metallic, Grandsons Duke Metallic and Eric (Bingy) Martin, and Joshua (Saucy) Isaac, honorary pallbearers Joe Dughie, Ron Couture, Kenny Mitchell and Byron Basque and to Maher's Funeral Home.

Alison Roberta MacKenzie
1932-2011

A service in celebration of Bobbie's life will be held Friday October 14, 2011 at St Andrews United Church in Tide Head.

Bobbie graduated from Business College in Fredericton (1950) and started her career in 1951 as a secretary/treasurer by the Children's Aid Society in Campbellton. After studying for several years, she became a social worker and worked for the Child Protection Program until November 30, 1990. In the last four years of her career Bobbie commenced work at Eel River Bar Child and Family Services setting up the agency where she formed lasting friendships with Chief Everett Martin, Glen caplin, Nancy McBain and many residents of the community. She retired on June 20, 1991 to spend more time with her husband Bob.

Bobbie was a founding member of the Board of Directors of the Restigouche Family Crisis Interveners formed in 1980. She was a member of St Andre's United Church, serving as church treasurer, choir member and chairperson of the Committee of Stewards. Bobbie was a founding member of 31 years of the NB Scottish Cultural Association. She served as Past President of the Caledonian Society of Restigouche and the NB Scottish Cultural Association and was Past Matron of Lady Alexander chapter No. 24, Campbellton Order of the Eastern Star. Bobbie loved to curl and was a member and Past President of the Campbellton Curling Club.

In August of 2010 Bobbie became a resident of the Campbellton Nursing Home where she passed away peacefully on Friday, October 7, 2011. To all the health professionals and friends who cared for and loved her over these years, our family extends our most heartfelt thanks.

Myrea J. (Mann) Firth

Passed away at the Campbellton Regional Hospital on September 14, 2011 at the age of 88, Mrs. Myrea J. (Mann) Firth. She was the daughter of the late Richard and Margaret Ann (Moores) Mann and wife of the late Cyrus Firth of Mann's Mountain. Myrea served in the Canadian Women's Army Corp during WW11 in Canada, England and Europe. She was an avid reader in all subjects and she was recognized as the Matriarch by her family, they relied on her for good judgement, sound advice and guidance, especially the younger generations.

She is survived by her sisters Shirley (Reg) MacDougall and Hope (Clifford) Farrer many nieces and nephews.

Predeceased by her parents, her husband Cyrus, brother Farren (Verna) Mann, sisters Jean (Allison) Ryan, Alberta "Bertie" (John) Harris, Margaret "Peggy" (James) Murray and her nephew Danny (Nancy) Jones.

Pallbearers were John R. Ryan, Troy Jones, Trent Jones, Richard Adams, all nephews of Myrea.
