Mary Young

The death of Mary Young of Jacquet River & formerly of Saint John occured at the Bathurst Regional Hospital Saturday, October 15, 2011 at the age of 85. Born in Jacquet River, she was the daughter of the late William and Margaret Ann (Page) Lejeune. Mary was employed with Dominion stores as a bookeeper in Saint John for thirty five years.

She is survived by her brothers Augustin (Lorraine) of Beresford, Wilfred (Lotte) of Port Rowan, ON., Francis of Saint John, John of Jacquet River as well as her sister Evelyn.

She was predeceased by her sister Beatrice.

David Hubert

The death of David Hubert of Charlo occurred at the Palliative Care Unit of St. Joseph Hospital Monday, October 10, 2011 at the age of 84. Born in Dalhousie, he was the son of the late Harry and Florine (Doherty) Hubert.

David is survived by his wife Joanne (Vincent), daughter Wendy (Tom Brewer) of Fredericton; as well as his sisters Isobel Bisson of Campbellton & Elise Caldwell of Campbellton.

He was predeceased by his brothers Allison and Harry.

Doreena Leona Firth
1932-2011

Passed away at the Campbellton Regional Hospital on September 21, 2011, at the age of 79, Doreena Leona Firth, wife of Maxwell Firth. Born in Mann Settlement, Quebec she was the daughter of the late Clarence and Laura Irvine.

Besides her husband Maxwell, she will be sadly missed by her daughter Joanne (Brian) her sons Clayton (Karen), Billy (Germaine) and Daryl all of Toronto, Ont, her four grandchildren, four great grandchildren, her sisters Shirley of Newfoundland, Beulah of Toronto and Muriel of Glen Levit. She was predeceased by her parents, sisters Patsy, Stella Lou and Vera, brothers James and John.

Marjorie LeBrun
1948-2011

We regret to announce the death of Marjorie LeBrun at the Georges L Dumont Hospital in Moncton on October 8, 2011 surrounded by her loving family. Born in Campbellton, she was the beloved wife of Gerald LeBrun, she was the cherished daughter of Charles S. Arseneau and the late Margaret Arseneau.

She will be sadly missed and forever loved by her husband Gerald, her children; Jamie (Jennifer Steward) of Edmonton, Alberta and Jenny (Roger LaBelle) of Fredericton; her granddaughter Emily; her father Mr. Charles S. Arseneau of Glencoe; her sisters and brother; Phyllis (Paul Smith) of Dieppe, Elaine (John Wheeler) of Alliston, Ontario, Ricky of Millgrove, Ont., and Gina (Darren Matheson) of Miramichi. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews and many wonderfully devoted friends.

Marjorie was predeceased by her beloved mother, Margaret Arseneau and brother Lewis.

Norman "Pete" Chamberlain
1929-2011

Passed away at the Campbellton Regional Hospital on October 14, 2011 at the age of 82, Mr. Norman "Pete" Chamberlain, husband of Rita Chamberlain (Doucet) of Campbellton. Born in Kedgwick he was the son of the late Alfred Chamberlain and the late Macrina Daigle.

He leaves to mourn his children Charles (Harriet) Chamberlain of Campbellton, Monique (Robert) Holloway of Guelph, Cecile Doucet of Campbellton, Mona Chamberlain of Tide Head, Claude (Lise) Chamberlain of Campbellton and Lynn Doucette of Pointe-a-la-Croix. Also survived by his five grandchildren Shawn (Melanie) Chamberlain, Mark (Charity) Holloway, Eric Doucet, Remi Chamberlain and Nadine Doucet, three great-grandchildren Tyson Chamberlain, Maddison Holloway and Rogan Chamberlain, two sisters Bertha Lavoie and Rose Lagace and one brother Alcide Chamberlain all of Atholville.

Pierre Arsenault

Passed away accidently on October 9, 2011 at the age of 45, Lieutenant Pierre Arsenault of Campbellton. Born in Dalhousie on November 6, 1965, he was the son of Roger Arsenault and Ruth Dionne. Pierre was a loving and devoted father, spouse, son, brother and friend. He loved sports, especially playing soccer and hockey with "the boys". Pierre was an 11 years veteran of the Campbellton Fire Department (CFD) and was previously fireman at the Charlo Airport for 6 years. He was a level 1 and level 2 instructor with the CFD and CCNB/NBCC. Pierre was an active member of CUPE local 76 for the past 7 years where he served as secretary vice-president and president. He had previously been involved in coaching soccer for his daughter's teams and had been a member of the Campbellton Figure Skating Club executive. Pierre had also been involoved in refereeing hockey in the past and in the more recent years, refereeing soccer. Pierre had a love for sports, the outdoors and for his community. He will be missed by many.

He leaves to mourn his spouse Nancy Babcock, mother Ruth Arsenault, father Roger Arsenault all of Campbellton, daughter Mallory Arsenault of Moncton, sister Maryse Arsenault (Chris Gauthier) Of Dieppe. Also survived by three nephews Danik, Ethan and Cameron, two nieces Chanelle and Summer, numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and in-laws.

Pallbearers were his friends and colleagues: Captain Jean-Paul Duchesne, Captain Charles Geraghty, Captain Mark Hamilton, Captain Wayde McDavid, Captain Mike Berthelot (retired), Lieutenant Pat Blais, Lieutenant Danny Leclair and Lieutenant George Parker. Honorary Pallbearers were Campbellton Firefighters, menmbers of the RCMP and support staff at the Campbellton RCMP detachment.

Ronnie Godin

The death of Ronnie Godin of Gravelhill occurred at the Campbellton Regional Hospital Friday October 14, 2011 at the age of 68. Born in Murchie Settlement, he was the son of the late Frank and Isabelle (Carrier) Godin.

Ronnie is survived by his common-law wife Darlene, stepchildren Karen and Clay; step grandchildren Troy, Marcus, Lucas; brothers Onard (Jacqueline), James (Louise) , Willard (Ann), Clovis (lenda); sisters Jean Bahrey (Samk), Frances Sheard (Harry), Elsie Parsons (Ken).

He was predeceased by his parents, brothers Ivan and Charles as well as his sister Mary Stella.

Pallbearers were Donnie Esliger, Tony Mallaley, Mike Arseneault, Marcus, Troy and Clay LaPointe.

Clement Levesque

The death of Clement Leversque of Toronto occurred at his residence September 30, 2011 at the age of 61. Born in Jacquet River, he is the son of Priscilla (Guitard) and the late Jules Levesque.

Clement is survived by his mother Priscilla, daughter Nicole; brothers Marcel (Louise) of Edmunston, Gerry of Fort McMurray, Patrick (Peggy) of Jacquet River, sisters Marie Guitard of Jacquet River, Veronica Firlotte (Eldric ) of Dieppe, Genevieve Guitard (Claude) of Pointe Verte, darlene Levesque (Kevin) of Fredericton and Brenda Levesque (Nelson) of Fredericton.

He was predeceased by his father Jules, and sisters Sheila and Maurilla.
