Brenda Lee Mann Firth
Brenda Lee Firth of Flatlands, wife of Wendall Firth and daughter of Sanford and the late Quennie (Law) Mann of Mann Settlement, QC occurred at the Moncton City Hospital on October 27, 2011 at the age of 54.
Brenda is survived by her husband and her only daughter Carmalyn, son-in-law Ferlin Parker, granddaughter Moraine, four brothers Sanford (Lynn), Donald (Patsy), David (Janice), Bevin (Madeleine), one sister Sally (Paul) and by her mother and father-in-law Pat and Myrtle Firth.
Brenda was predeceased by her sister Avis Mann Haley on October 27, 2010.
Pallbearers were her four brothers, son-in-law, and brother-in-law Vaughn. Honorary Pallbearers were her five sister-in-laws and niece Lorraine.
Rose Alice Hachey
1930-2011
At the Campbellton Regional Hospital on Monday October 31st 2011 at the age of 81, has passed away Mrs. Rose Alice Hachey of Atholville, wife of Mr. Norvel Hachey. She was the daughter of the late William Gallant and the late Marie Louise Lavoie.
Besides her beloved husband Norvel, she will be sadly missed by her children: Michelle (Michael Garneau) of PEI, Suzanne (Larry Lunney) of Riverview, William "Billy" (Alice Deschesnes) of Campbellton, Tim (Joanne Belanger) of Petit-Rocher and Paul (Jel Fernandez) Of Clairmont, Alberta; her grandchildren: William, Karen, Vicki, Angie, Ghislain, Vincent and Martin; her great grandchildren; Kennedy, Kayleigh, Allie, Danika, MacKenzie, Aliyah, Briden and Renelle; brothers and sisters; Aime (Gery Robinson) of Montreal, Joseph of St. John, Irene Upton of Halifax and Jeannette Poirier of Moncton and by many members of the Hachey's family, nieces, nephews and friends.
She was predeceased by her parents, her brothers; Armand, Lucien and Paul; her sisters; Marie and Blanche.
William Darrel Chesser
1944-2011
William "Bill" Chesser of Mann's Mountain, passed away peacefully on October 27, 2011 at the Moncton City Hospital surrounded by his loved ones.
Bill worked as a guide on the Restigouche River, and retired from the CNR after 25 years of service.
Along with his wife Lucille (Chiasson), he leaves to mourn two daughters, Tracey (Peter Murphy), Tammy (Jason O'Connor), two sisters, Charlotte Englehart and Patricia Daniels, along with his cherished grandchildren Mackenzie, William, Liam and Darrel Joseph (DJ).
Claudette Allard
Claudette Allard passed away at her residence on November 3, 2011 at the age of 51, Claudette Allard from Dalhousie, daughter of Clarence and Dorilda Allard.
She leaves to mourn her parents Clarence and Dorilda Allard of Dalhousie, her sister Linda Allard (Romain Lagace) of Val D'Amour, half-sister Julie Schmitmeyer (Mark) of Versailles, Ohio. Also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Connie LeBourque
Connie LeBourque wife of the late John LeBourque passed away on October 25, 2011 at the Campbellton Regional Hospital. She was born in The Hague, Holland on January 7, 1923 to the late Karlos and the late Cornelia Korrubel. She was a war bride, having come to Canada in 1946.
She retired from the Hotel Dieu Hospital as Paymaster and has since enjoyed her retirement and her summers at the cottage.
Besides being predeceased by her parents, her husband John predeceased her in May 2010.
She is survived by her daughters Yvonne (Weldon Furlotte), Joyce (Sterling) Furlotte, Shirley (Gerry) Goguen, Peggy (Leonard) Maltais, Sandra (Late William) Allen and son Kennety. She is also survived by her only sister Annie (Kees Kooij) of Holland, her sister-in-law Rita Poirier as well as by eight grandchildren, 14 great grandchildren and her nephew Edward of California
Marcellin Lurette
Marcellin Rejean Lurette of Val D'Amour, the son of the late John Lurette and Dorina Ouellette, passed away peacefully on October 29, 2011 at the Chaleur Regional Hospital in Bathurst at the age of 60.
He is survived by his wife Darlene (Aubie) , his children Natacha and Anabelle (Louis Landry), his step children Corey (Ashlea) and Crystal (Dale Moores), his brothers Coy (Claudette), Hermel, and the late Leonide (Jeanne Mance), his sisters Jeannine (Clifford Maltais), Donalda (Lorenzo Maltais), Paulette (Roy Boudreau) and the late Georgette (Eugene Savoie), his grandchildren Ethan, Zalea, Scarlette and William. He also leaves behind many nieces, nephews, cousins, family, and friends.
Jeffrey Valdron
The death of Jeffrey Valdron occurred on November 4th at the Dalhousie Palliative Care unit at the age of 41. Born in Dalhousie, he was the son of Weldon (Tippy) and Jeannine Valdron.
He leaves to mourn his parents, his wife Renee Benoit Valdron, his sons Matthew and Logan Valdron all of Dalhousie, his brother Rocky Valdron (Sandra) of Petawawa, his sister Joanne Valdron (Larry Knoyles) of Dorchester, his niece Veronica, his nephews Jessie and Cameron, his grandmother Maria Essiembre as well as numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and in-laws.
Joseph William Gray
The death of William Gray of Dalhousie occurred at the Palliative Care Unit of the St Joseph Hospital Dalhousie October 31, 2011, at the age of 73.
Born in Belledune, he was the son of the late William and Julianne (Mercier) Gray.
He is survived by his wife Monica (Donnelly); daughters Lori( Brad) Rice of Mississaua and Lana (Andrew Leybourne) of Mississauga; grandchildren Courtney, Devyn, Scott and Ian as well as his brothers Wallace, Delphis, Gary, DAnny, Jim, Don and sisters Irma, Jean, Marie, Carmel, Stacia, Joanne, Carol and Donna.
He was predeceased by his brothers Eldon and Leonard as well as his sister Patsy.
Honorary Pallbearers were Lawrence Donnelly, Danny Harvey, Darrell Guitard, Anthony Lavigne, Jimmy Gray, Danny Gray, Lawrence Doucet, Carl doucet and Allard St. Coeur.
A Legion service was held following the mass.
Sterling (Man-X) Flanagan
1942-2011
Sterling (Man-X) Flanagan passed away at the Campbellton Village Nursing Home on November 6, 2011 at the age of 69. He was the son of the late Ruth Flanagan and the late Claude Bertin and raised by Georgina Flanagan and late Coleburne Farrer.
He will be sadly missed by his sisters; Sheila Morano (Bill) of Riverview and May Gregoire (Lawrence) of Cross Point; many nieces, nephews and great niece also many friends will also miss him.
He was predeceased by his parents and adoptive parents.
Lawrence Martin
At the Campbellton Regional Hospital on Tuesday, November 1st, 2011 at the age of 64, has passed away Mr. Lawrence Martin of Malauze, husband of Mrs. Marie Martin. He was the son of the late Francis Clevette and the late Wheeler Martin.
Besides his beloved wife, Marie, he will be sadly missed by his children; Isabel (Marc Ouellette) of Val d'Amour, Diane (Rene Savoie) of Campbellton, Guy Ouellette of Campbellton and Robby Ouellete (Tra Barnaby) of Listuguj; his grandchildren; Alex, Felix, Travis, Josie Lee, Carter, Tanner and Tisha; his brothers and sisters: Victor Martin (Claudette) of Malauze, Muriel Smith (Ian) of Glen Levit, Derilda Bernatchez (Richard ) of Malauze and Douglas Martin of Malauze; his parents-in-law; Beverly & Omer Ouellette of Atholville also by many sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, nieces, nephews and many friends.
