Ralph Chalmers Bain Sr

Passed away at the Campbellton Regional Hospital on November 16, 2011 at the age of 90, Mr. Ralph Chalmers Bain Sr. of Flatlands.

He leaves to mourn his wife Annie Reba Bain, his sons Ralph ain Jr. (Anna Lea) of Flatlands and Dale Bain (Linda) of Campbellton, sisters Geraldine Stewart of Miramichi and Ivy Chmelnytzki of Ontario. Also survived by his five grandchildren, eight great grandchildren, several nieces and nepheww.

Predeceased by his mother Mary Louise Bain, father Charles Bain, sisters Evelyn, LKouise, Vera, Jean, Patricia and Lois, brothers Randolph, Reid and Morgan.

Robert St. Laurent

Robert St. Laurent passed away at the Campbellton Regional Hospital on November 9, 2011. Born in Atholville, he was the son of the late Pierre and Angelique (Pineault) St. Laurent.

He is survived by his wife Joan (Loader), daughters Jane (Bill) Lee, Geraldine (Doug) Clarke, Mississauga ON, Sharon (David) Hachey, JoJo (Claude) Berthelot, Debbie and Robyn, Calgary Alberta, sons Keith (Aline) Prince Albert, Saskatchewan and Roger Campbellton, his sister Jacqueline (Albert deceased) McGraw, St Leolin, NB the last surviving member of his immediate family. He has 20 grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren as well as several nieces and nephews.

He was predeceased by his parents as well as his brothers Jean-Louis (Bouille), Jean-Yves (John), Roger and a grandson Jeremy.

The family wishes to extend their sincere thanks for the visits to the funeral home, for floral ararngements, donations, masses, cards and many expressions of sympathy. They would like to thank the Legion Members for the service at the funeral home and they honour guard at the Church.

Bernadette O'Brien

The death of Bernadette O'Brien of Lorne occurred at the Campbellton Regional Hospital Sunday, November 13, 2011 at the age of 95. Born in Lorne she was the daughter of the late David and Agnes (Carrier) Hickey.

She is survived by her sons Alphie of Fredericton, Alzear (Claudette) of Lorne, Romeo of Lorne, Wayne of Campbellton, Dale (Virginia) of Lorne, Mark (Dorothy) of Lorne ; daughters Edna (Oswald) Carrier of Fredericton, Doris Carrier of Lorne, Doreen O`Brien of Lorne, Darlene (Donald) Godin of Lorne, Agnes (Cameron) Bolton of Cambridge, ON. She is also survived by her 28 grandchildren, 34 great grandchildren and eight great great grandchildren.

Bernadette was predeceased by her husband Leo, daughter Barbara, sisters Constance chamberlain, Sylvia Hickey, Olive Carrier, Angelica Hickey and Julia Chamberlain.

Honorary pallbearers were Lisa Godin, Colleen Hickey, Marsha Carrier, Karen Weagle, Carmen LaPointe Marlene Carrier and Heather Ann Mallaley.

Leonard (Alphonse) Martin
1925-2011

At the Veterans Unit of the Campbellton Regional Hospital on Sunday, November 20, at the age of 85, has passed away Mr. Leonard (Alphonse) Martin of Campbellton, husband of the late Mrs. Marie Louise Bourdages. He was the son of the late Ulumina Doucet and the late Alphonse Martin.

He will be sadly missed by his children; Gisele Furlotte of Dalhousie, Georges (Joelle) of Campbellton, Jean-Guy (Gail) of Campbellton, Nicole (Michel Busque) of Campbellton; his grandchildren; Rod, Wade, Jeremy, Armelie, Serge, Mitch, Anick and Marc-Andre; his great grandchildren; Titus, Aurora, Remy, Alexandre, Samuel, Felicity, Lauren, Rouan, Janicka, Roch and Cedric; his brother Arthur (Evelyn) of Montreal; also by many nieces, nephews, members of the Bourdages family and friends.

Allan J. Bujold

Passed away at the Campbellton Regional Hospital on November 15, 2011 at the age of 75, Mr. Allan J. "Mickey" Bujold.

He leaves to mourn his daughter Sandra Court (Byron) of Florent Point, sisters Myrna Brown (Tom) of Toronto, ON and Bernice Soucy of Campbellton. Also survived by his grandchildren Barbara Ann Court Vasil and Amanda Court, great grandchildren Thomas, Jacob and Noah. Predeceased by 2 brothers Gerald and Ronald.

Marian Irene Watling

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Marian Irene Watling on November 18, 2011. Marian was born on May 31 1925 in Carleton, NS and grew up in Campbellton, NB.

She was very active member of the First United Church and the broader community, including the UCW, Meals on Wheels, UCT, Seniors Group, and the Wednesday Night Knitting Club.

Marion was a very loving and dedicated wife, mother and grandmother. She will be sadly missed by her six children, Rick (Debrah) of Bathurst, Allan (Cindy) of Campbellton, Brian (Cecile), Kerry (Judy), Sandra Finner (Steve) all of Ottawa, and Patty Roy (Pierre) of Moncton, her eight grandchildren, Michael (Andrea), Sara, Katie, Joey, Allie, David, Nathan and Jordan. She is also survived by sisters Leona Toner of Saint John and Francis Gammon of Fredericton, and brothers-in-law Gib Watling (Mary) of Miramichi, Ev Wishart of Halifax and Milton Young of Burlington.

She was predeceased by her loving husband of 55 years, G. C. "Kip" Watling, sister Pauline Young and brother Cliff Early.

The family would like to extend sincere thanks to the staff of ProTern Health Services in Moncton, New Brunswick for the care and support of Marian during the last 3 years.

Pallbearers were Rick Watling, Allan Watling, Brian Watling, Kerry Watling, Steve Finner and Pierre Roy. Honourary Palbearers were Kay Bursey, Shirley Dickson, Alice and Bob Linden, Kay and Ralph Mann, Velma Mann, Verna Munroe, Iva Osgood, Tennyson and Hilda Walker and Ruth Wilbur.

Joseph Albert Roy

Mr. Joseph Albert Roy formerly of Campbellton passed away peacefully in his sleep at the Chaleur Regional Hospital in Bathurst on November 18, 2011 at the age of 90. He was the son of the late Charles and Roseanna Roy of Kedgwick, and the beloved husband of Florence Roy.

He was an employee of the Canadian National Railways for 39 years.

Albert is survived by his wife Florence, sons Albert (Elaine Keeley), John (Denise Robichaud), Max (Shawna McKinnon), Phillip (Joan Foran), seven grandchildren, six great grandchildren, four brothers Fernando Roy, (Monique Deschenes) of Campbellton, Ronald and Ernest of Montreal and Gerald of Sept Isles Quebec, two sisters Sister Vendetta Roy of Moncton and Georgette of London Ontario.

Marie Louise Alma Doucet
1938-2011

Passed away on November 14, 2011 at the Dalhousie Palliative Care unit at the age of 73, Alma Doucet. She was the daughter of the late Amedee Doucet and the late Elizabeth Allain.

Survived by daughter Debbie Pitre (Ray) Dalhousie, sisters Elizabeth Doucet Dalhousie, Stella LePage Charlo, Dora Arseneault (Gerard) Montreal and Lea Bourque (Fernand) Montreal, brothers Felix Doucet (Anna) Dalhousie and Michel Doucet (Nancy) Springhill, NS, six grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.

Predeceased by daughter Lynn Roy and brother Charles Doucet.

Allison John Earl Dunn

Passed away at the Campbellton Regional Hospital on November 7, 2011 at the age of 82. Allison John Earl of Dawsonville. He was the son of Earl and Elizabeth Mary Jane (Thompson).

Predeceased by his parents, wife daughter, two sisters and three brothers.

He leaves to mourn his sons Allison (Suzanne), Johnny, Frederick, daughters Marylou (Allison), Nancy Lea (Jean-Pierre), eight grandchildfren, six great grandchildren, four sisters Ethel, Teenie, Doris, Gloria (Gilbert), one brother Carl, many nieces and nephews.
