Christine Charlotte Bujold
The death of Christine Charlotte Bujold, wife of Ronald Bujold, of 146 Babcock St., Tide Head, occurred at the Campbellton Regional Hospital on January 31, 2006, at the age of 61.
Born in Campbellton on November 17, 1944, she was the daughter of the late John Edmunds and the late Mary McLardie.
Surviving is her husband Ronald Bujold, her sister Sandra (Robert) Gregoire of Broadlands, Quebec, her brothers Jack (Marilyn) Edmunds of Brighton, Ont., Bill Edmunds of Toronto, Ont., Danny (Margie) Edmunds of Moncton, N.B., and Peter (Penny) Edmunds of Grand Prairie, Alberta.
Predeceasing her were her parents John and Mary, her daughter Mary Allison Bujold and her brother Bobby Edmunds.
The funeral was held from Maher's Funeral Chapel on Saturday, February 4, 2006, officiated by Lic. Caleb Kim and Rev. R. Kraglund, with interment in the Campbellton Rural Cemetery in the spring. Pallbearers were George Thomas, Dave LeFurgey, Robin Dickson, and Dave Mather. Honourary pallbearers were Ron Dube, Wila Mann, Gloria McDavid, Jaques Bujold, Laurent Bujold, Ralph Mann, Tom Dewar and Joyce MacDonald. Funeral arrangements were placed in the care of Maher's Funeral Home, Campbellton.
Vernon Roy
The death of Vernon Roy of Petit Rocher, N.B., occurred on February 2, 2006, at the age of 56. He was the son of the late Alphonse Roy and Isabelle Cormier of Petit Rocher. Mr. Roy was a pipe fitter for Local 512.
Surviving is his girlfriend Glenda Grover of Nash Creek, daughter Misty (Donald) Arseneault of Jacquet River, sisters Viola (Yvon) Morrison of Petit Rocher and Claudette Roy of Petit-Rocher, brothers Roland (Audrey) Roy of Nova Scotia, Albenie Roy of Petit Rocher, Claude Roy of Petit Rocher and Rene (Bernice) Roy of Petit Rocher, and two grandchildren Matthew and Madison.
Predeceasing him were two brothers Clovis and Norbert.
Funeral services were held on Monday, February 6, 2006, at St. Polycarpe Church in Petit Rocher. In lieu of flowers the family would appreciate a donation to the Canadian Cancer Society. Funeral arrangements were placed in the care of Verret Funeral Homes, Nigadoo.
