Doris V Fraser

Passed away at her residence in Robinsonville on January 25, 2007 at the age of 74, Mrs. Doris V Fraser, daughter of the late James Main and the late Julia Fraser.

She leaves to mourn her daughters Carol Fraser of Robinsonville and July Fraser (Ray Comeau) of Glen Levit, her sister Glenda McKinnon of Glen Levit, her brothers James Main of Wyers Brook and Fred Main of Glencoe. Also survived by 4 grandchildren Trevor, Tyson, Brittany and Troy, 1 great grandchild Tristan, son-in-law Dale Firth, several nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her husband Woodbury, daughter Jean, sisters Gladys and Helen, brother Stewart.

The funeral service was held from Maher's Funeral Chapel Campbellton, on Monday January 29th at 2pm. Reverend Godsoe officiating. Interment will be at the Dawsonville Cemetery.

Funeral arrangements were in the care of Maher's Funeral Home, Campbellton.

Jean Emile Berube

Passed away at the Campbellton Regional Hospital on January 31, 2007 at the age of 86, Mr. Jean Emile Berube of the Campbellton Village Nursing Home.

He leaves to mourn his daughters Donna Quinn of Halifax, Opal Berube of Ontario, Barb Gregoire (Roger) of Moncton, Marlene Steeves (Bob) of Moncton and Sharon (Chester) Anglehart of Campbellton, his sons Robert (Margaret) Berube of Miramichi, Tom (Kelly) of Campbellton, Jimmy of Montreal and Terry of Halifax. Also survived by 12 grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren and many nieces & nephews. Predeceased by his wife Doris Cantwell Berube, son John, parents Zoel Berube and Rose Ann, 2 sisters Bridgette and Clara, brothers Alfred, William and Wilfred.

The funeral service was held from Maher's Funeral Chapel Campbellton, on Saturday February 3rd at 2pm. Father Benoit officiating. The pallbearers were the Our Lady of Snows Parish Guards Funeral arrangements were in the care of Maher's Funeral Home, Campbellton.

Mary Jamieson

We celebrate the life and mourn the death of Mary Jamieson of Charlo, wife of the late Bud Jamieson which occurred at the Cape Breton Regional Hospital,Sydney, NS. January 28, 2007. Born in the Miramichi the daughter of the late James MacRae and Grace (Fraser).

She is survived by her son - Errol(Mabel) of Sydney NS, Daughters-Wendy Bell(David) of Halifax, Shelley Gallant(Gary) of Quispamsis and Miriam Carrier(Frank)of Quispamsis, 13 grandchildren , 1 great granddaughter Taylor Gallant, brother Fraser MacRae (Lydia), sister Helen Patterson, sister in law Norma Vincent (Lorne) and brother in law Darrell MacCaull (Grace).

Her funeral was held from St. Paul's United Church, Charlo Thursday February 01, 2007, officiated by Rev. Don Fairweather and assisted by Rev. Olive Ann Archibald. Pallbearers were Darrell MacCaull, and grandsons Trevor and Blake Jamieson, Bradley Carrier, Brian Bell and David Gallant. Honorary pallbearers were her grandchildren Jody and Christian Collin, Jennie Jamieson, Janice and Jennifer Bell, Andrea Gallant, Carissa Gallant and Craig Turner Lindsy, Amy Carrier, as well as her close friends Alice Blake, Cora Murchie, Manley and Joan Petersen, James Patterson, Rose Heinstein and Fran Acheson. Rosa Landry

Passed away at the Dalhousie Nursing Home on January 26, 2007 at the age of 85, Mrs. Rosa Landry.

She leaves to mourn her husband William Landry of Dalhousie, her daughters Laurette (Denis) Tremblay of Ottawa and Denise (Edmond) Savoie of Campbellton, her sons André (Agnes) Landry of Bathurst and Maurice (Audrey) Landry of Dalhousie. Also survived by 7 grandchildren, 4 great grandchildren and many nieces & nephews. Predeceased by her father Albert Arseneault, her mother Lydia Thériault, her daughter Marie Rose, 2 sisters Jean and Thérèse and 1 brother Roger.

The funeral mass was held from St. Jean Baptiste Church Dalhousie, on Tuesday January 30th at 11am. Father Landry officiating.

Funeral arrangements were in the care of Maher's Funeral Home, Dalhousie.

Venner Swasson

Passed away at the Campbellton Regional Hospital on January 12, 2007 at the age of 43, Mr. Venner Swasson of Listuguj.

He leaves to mourn his wife Ann Moffat-Swasson, his mother Lilly Isaac, his daughters Rhonda and Sherise, his sons Ronnie and Isaac, his sisters Maggie Swasson of Listuguj, Melvine Swasson Listuguj and Delphanie Swasson Listuguj, his brothers Floyd of Listuguj, Mike Listuguj and Ralph (Happy) Listuguj. Also survived by his granddaughter Tyla, nieces Sarah, Cheryl, Lellia and Sheila, nephews Derrik, Ira, Mickey, Syliss, Ronco, David, Lyle, Brian and David. Predeceased by his father Joseph Swasson, his brothers Ronnie, Leonard and Peter and his nephew Perley.

The funeral mass was held from Ste Anne Church Listuguj, on Monday January 15th at 3pm. Father Landry officiating. The pallbearers were David Swasson, Bruce Swasson, Brian Caplin, George Moffat, Kevin Dubé and Sweeney Condo.

Funeral arrangements were in the care of Maher's Funeral Home, Campbellton.

Jean Mitchell

Passed away at her residence in Listuguj on January 28, 2007 at the age of 62, Mrs. Jean Mitchell, wife of Herbie Mitchell and daughter of the late James Shaw and the late Laura Guitard. She leaves to mourn her sons Shane Mithcell of Listuguj and James Mitchell of Listuguj. Also survived by 1 grandson Nolan Mitchell of Ontario. The funeral service was held from Ste Anne Church Listuguj, on Friday February 2nd at 3pm. Father Landry officiating. Pallbearers were Clayton Duguay, Chris Day, Tyler Arsenault and Brad Wysote. Funeral arrangements were in the care of Maher's Funeral Home, Campbellton.
