Fabienne Dubé Greene

Passed away at the Campbellton REgional Hospital on February 11, 2010, at the age of 94. Mrs Fabienne Dubé Green of Matapedia. Born in Matapedia, QC, on April 1st 1915, she was the daughter of Albert Dube and the late Flore Poirier. She was a member of the Women's Institute and the Golden Age Club.

She leaves to mourn her daughters Pauline (Richard) of Nashua, NH USA, Patsy (Monty) of Brossard, QC., Betty (Roland) of Sawanee, Georgia USA and Marie (Dari) of St Leon le Grand QC., her sons Gerald (Norma) of Moncton and Charles (Carmelynn) of New Richmond, QC , her sister Alberte Daviault of St Lambert, QC, her brother Jean Eudes Dube of Ottawa, ON. Also survived by her 10 grandchildren, 6 great-grandchildren, numerous nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her husband George Greene, son Paul, brothers Roger, Andre and Jean Paul, sister Jacqueline Mill.

Lomer (Murph) Bujold

Joseph Charles Lomer (Murph) Bujold passed away at Moncton City Hospital South-East Regional Health Authority on Thursday February 12, 2010 at the age of 80 years. Born in Campbellton on May 26, 1929, he was the son of late Philippe and late Ethel Bujold.

He is survived by his wife Germaine (Gauvin); his four children; Philippe, Denyse (Roger), Jacques (Claude) & Pierre (Brenda); four grandchildren; Stephanie, Dominique, Maryse & Alexi and two great-grandchildren; Cassia & Liam. He will also be sadly missed by his brother Arthur as well as several nieces, nephews & cousins.

Prior to his retirement, he owned Bujold Pharmacy in Campbellton.

Visitation will be held at the funeral home on Friday, February 19 in the afternoon from 2 till 4 and evening from 7 to 9. Funeral Mass will be held Saturday, February 20 at 11 am in Our Lady's Church, Campbellton.

Memorial donations to the Canadian Cancer Society or to the donor's choice would be greatly appreciated by the family.

Jackie Levesque

The death of Jackie Levesque of the Dalhousie Nursing Home occurred Thursday, February 4, 2010 at the age of 82. Born in Jacquet River, he was the son of the late Jane Levesque.

Jackie is survived by many nieces, nephews & cousins. He was predeceased by his sister Jacqueline.

A lifelong resident of Jacquet River he was a devoted member of St Gabriel's Parish who for many years was the church's bell ringer.

Pallbearers were Jimmy Levesque, Fred Firlotte, Rayburn Doucet, Arthur Winton, Martin Guitard, and David Guitard.

Irene Pratt

Passed away at the Campbellton Regional Hospital on February 14, 2010 at the age of 81, Mrs Irene Anne (Glidden) Pratt known as Nan. Born in Campbellton on September 26, 1928, she was the daughter of the late Ernest Gliddne and the late Charlotte Adams.

She lived at a special care residence in Atholville for the past 7 years, owned by Suzanne and Jean Guy Theriault who gave her the most wonderful care.

She leaves to mourn her children Freda (Garry), Judy (Jim), William, Donna (Carl), Nancy, Barrie (Sylvie) and Bev. Also survived by her 14 grandchildren, 8 great-grandchildren, special aunt to many nieces and nephews. You were loved.

Predeceased by her husband Tad in 1998, her brothers Harvey, Gerald, Lindsay, Herb and Glenn, her sisters Freda Caldwell and Neen Hennigar.

The funeral service was held from Maher's Funeral Chapel Campbellton.

Pallbearers were Ken Targett, DAvid and Steven Munroe, Lloyd and Michael Glidden and Gilles Dube.

To honor Dad's wishes, he will be cremated with no visitation or service. Donations can be made to the Children's Wish Foundation through Maher's Funeral Home in Dalhousie.

Through laughter and tears , we will never forget you Dad. You will live on in our hearts forever.

Nigel Charlong

Born in Campbellton, on October 25, 1930, Nigel was a graduate of Campbellton High School, a member of the Campbellton Tigers hockey team and first lieutenant (reserves) of the North Shore NB Regiment. He moved to Dundas, Ontario in 1956.

Nigel became a proficient furnither and cabinet maker. He had a life-long dedication to community service for which he received much recognition, including the building of the Nigel Charlong Community Centre, later named in his horour, and was awarded Citizen of the Year for Dundas.

Nigel was a mason for 55 years and President of the Guelph Shine Club. President and Life member of the Royal Canadian Legion in Waterdown, On. He was a devout member of St James Anglican Church in Dundas, Christ Church in Campbellton and St James in Port Daniel QC.

His greatest accomplishment was the love and the wisdom that he bestowed upon his family and untold numbers of friends. His home in Dundas and cottage in Port Daniel were always open and welcoming to family and friends.

Survived by his wife, Mary Ramier Charlong of Campbellton, his children, Donald (Karen) Charlong, Dundas On, Daniel (June) Charlong, Saint John, NB, Debborrah (James) Porter, Hudson, QC.

Also survived by his grandchildren Emily, James, Sarah, Rachel, Aaron and Andrew, and a large extended family. Predeceased by daughter Deborah, Catherine, brothers Arnold and Russel, Father William and motehr Ursula.

Pallbearers were grandchildren; Emily, Jamie, Sarah, Rachel, Aaron and Andrew.

Funeral was held on Saturday February 13 in the care of Maher's Funeral Home, Campbellton.
