Allison Harold Gallie
Family and friends were saddened by the sudden death of Allison Gallie that occurred in his home on Tuesday, February 5, 2008.
He is survived by his wife of 48 years, Dawn, daughters Darlene (Paul) Theriault of Boundary Creek, NB, Marilyn (Wesley) Steeves of Wheaton Settlement, NB, Bonnie (Walter) Rooney of Glencoe, NB, granddaughter Becky (Robert) Lester of Riverview, NB and grandson John (Patty) Kame of Woodstock, NB. Also surviving are brothers Ernest, Kenneth and Vance of Glencoe, NB, as well as several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his daughter Gracie Gallie.
He will be sadly missed by all. Thank you to all for your sympathies and prayers in our time of sorrow.

Antoinette Pitre
Passed away at the Campbellton Regional Hospital on February 6, 2008 at the age of 83, Mrs. Antoinette Pitre of Richardsville.
She leaves to mourn her daughter Diane Pitre, her sister May Bernier of Campbellton, her brothers Gerard, Leo-Paul, Charles, Guy, Ernest and Roger, special friend Charlotte Murdock. Also survived by her grandchildren Geraldine, Jeannine and Eric, two great-grandchildren and 4 great great-grandchildren. Predeceased by her daughters Jeanne and Jeannine, her husband Wilfred Pitre, her father Cyprien Bernier and her mother Eva Lebreux.
The funeral mass was held from Mary Queen Church Richardsville on Monday February 11th at 11am. Father Romeo Morrison officiating.
Funeral arrangements were in the care of Maher's Funeral Home, Campbellton.
Price, Leona "Lonie"
Passed away peacefully at Fairview Lodge in Whitby on February 6th, 2008 in her 96th year.
Beloved wife of the late Alton W. Price. Dear mother of Peggy Ellicott and husband Bill, and Doreen Chisholm and husband Bill, and deceased son, Bill Price.
Always remembered by daughter in law Peggy Rowland. Loving Grandmother of Lynda, Michael, Kelly, Kristine, Clinton, Robin, and Geoffrey. Greatly missed by thirteen great grandchildren. Friends will be received at the W.C. Town Funeral Chapel 110 Dundas St. E., Whitby (905) 668-3410 on Saturday February 9, 2008 at 11 am. Service will be in the chapel at 12 noon.
Reception at the funeral home to follow. The family is sincerely grateful for the loving care and support received from the nursing staff of 'A' wing at Fairview lodge.
Linda Farrar McMillan
1926 - 2008
Linda Evelyn McMillan, 81, of Miramichi, passed away on Sunday, January 27, 2008, at the Miramichi Regional Hospital after a battle with cancer.
Born in Campbellton, NB on December 17, 1926, she was the daughter of the late Walter S. Shaw and the late Elsie K. Martin (proprietors of the former Maple Dairy).
Formerly a long time resident of Tide Head, NB, before retirement in 1991, she worked as a Secretary / Accounting Clerk for Radio Engineering (1963-1975), Venus Electric (1975-1978), Leslie Pontiac (1979-1981), Central Garage (1981-1982) & AHE (1983-1991).
A fine seamstress, she was known for her warm and friendly disposition, her great sense of humor and a real zeal for life. She loved singing, flowers, and the Bible Education Work. She had a strong faith in the resurrection hope and the promised earthly Paradise (John 5:28&29; Psalm 37:11&29).
Linda will be greatly missed by her husband, Wilf McMillan of Miramichi, NB; her daughters Karen Harris of Belnan, NS, Lee (Francis) Bertin of Halifax, NS, Lyn (Gary) Martin of Dartmouth, NS; her son Mike (Karen) Farrar of Tide Head, NB; stepchildren Lana (Jim) Thompson of Sylvan Lake, AB, Bonny (Gerry) Warren of Coleman, AB, and Ruby LePoidevin of Summerland, BC; grandchildren Matthew & James Farrar of Edmonton, AB, Lisa (Chad) Holt of Herring Cove, NS, Carolee Bertin of Halifax, NS, Dietra Warren of Alberta and Taija LePoidevin of Summerland, BC; great grandchild Cadence Holt of Herring Cove, NS and her many friends.
Also survived by her sister Edna (Bill) Caldwell of Beaver Dam, NB, brother George Bernard (Ann) Shaw of Port Moody, BC, nieces and nephews.
Predeceased by her parents, 1st husband John (Jackie) Farrar (1998) and sister Elsie (Carl) Griffiths (2007).
A memorial service for Linda was held at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses in Miramichi on February 2, 2008. Simultaneous sign language translation was provided by volunteers from Moncton, NB and Halifax, NS.
She will be interred in the Campbellton Rural Cemetery in the spring.
Vera Shaw
The death of Vera Shaw occurred on January 18, 2008, at the Regional Hospital at the age of 99 years. She was the oldest daughter of Mr. & Mrs. Charles Shaw of Campbellton.
Vera is survived by two sisters, Patricia Foley of Fredericton, and Hazel Gregoire of Campbellton, 3 nieces & 2 nephews, Kathy, Nancy and Douglas Gregoire of Toronto, Hazel Copp of Toronto and Wayne Foley of Fredericton.
Funeral services were held on January 21, 2008, from First United Church, officiated Reverend Genevieve Trudel. Interment will take place in the spring.
Vesta May Connors
Passed away at the Campbellton Regional Hospital on February 5, 2008 at the age of 64, Mrs. Vesta May Connors (Dutcher). Born in Newcastle, NB on May 8, 1943, she was the daughter of the late Kingston Dutcher and the late Mona Bryenton. She was an ECG Technician at the hospital for 18 years. Organizations and interests were the Eastern Star, SPCA, travel, skating and spending time with family.
She leaves to mourn her husband Ken Connors from Campbellton, NB, her daughter Paula (Eric Blakey) from Campbellton, NB, her sons Andrew Connors (Annick Fontaine) from Balmoral, NB and Trevor Connors (Alison) from Hinton, Alberta, her brothers Dougie Dutcher (Anne) from Rothesay, NB, Edward Dutcher (Janice) from Miramichi, NB and Donald Dutcher (Alma) from Miramichi, NB. Also survived by 4 grandchildren Liam, Aaron, Nathan and Kingston, several nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her mother Mona Dutcher and her father Kingston Dutcher.
The funeral service was held from the First United Church Campbellton on Friday Feburary 8th at 2pm. Reverend Genevieve Trudel and Reverend Raymond Kraglund officiating. Interment this spring at the Campbellton Rural Cemetery.
Funeral arrangements were in the care of Maher's Funeral Home, Campbellton.
