Alfred McGregor
The death of Alfred McGregor of Mitchell Settlement, husband of Ethel Furlong, occurred Sunday, February 12, 2006, at the Chaleur Regional Hospital at the age of 85.
Born in Mitchell Settlement, he was the son of the late Charles McGregor and Harriet Hickey.
He was a member of the Durham Legion Branch 77, he served in World War II overseas, and upon returning home he began farming and worked for the Department of Transportation for approximately 20 years until his retirement in 1979.
He is survived by his wife Ethel, daughter Theresa Dempsey (Robert) of Jacquet River, son Robert (Jeanne) of Bathurst, 8 grandchildren, 5 great grandchildren. Also surviving is sister Mary and brother William.
He was predeceased by his son Alfred Jr., brothers Jim, Austin, Malcolm, Donald, Jack, and his sister Barbara.
His funeral was held from Saint Gabriel Church, Jacquet River, Wednesday, February 15, 2006, officiated by Father David Ferguson, with burial in the parish cemetery in the spring. Pallbearers were Jason Dempsey, Shawn Dempsey, Robert Dempsey, Donnie McGregor, Lance McGregor, and Michael McGregor. Funeral arrangements were in the care of MacMillan's Funeral Home Black Point.

Armand Robichaud
The death of J. Armand Robichaud of Dalhousie, occurred at the Campbellton Regional Hospital on February 15, 2006, at the age of 73.
Born in Dalhousie on November 22, 1932, he was the son of the late Daisie Robichaud and the late Eveline Savoie.
Surviving are his sons Andre (Pierette) Robichaud of Dalhousie and Claude (Dawn) Robichaud of Campbellton, sister Fabiola of Alma, N.B. and Marguerite of Sussex, N.B., brothers Raymond of Grande-Anse, N.B. and Normand of Balmoral, N.B., and one granddaughter Jossee Robichaud.
Predeceasing him were his parents Daisie and Eveline and his wife Leona Savoie.
The funeral was held from St. John the Baptist Church in Dalhousie on February 20, 2006, officiated by Rev. Yvon Doiron, with interment in the parish cemetery in the spring. Funeral arrangements were placed in the care of Maher's Funeral Home, Dalhousie.
Ida Landry Perkison
The death of Ida Landry Perkison of 20 route St. Antoine in Pointe a la Garde, PQ, occurred at the CLSC Malauze in Matapedia on February 14, 2006, at the age of 81.
Born in Charlo, NB on November 15, 1924, she was the daughter of the late Philias Landry and the late Lucie Anne Coutange.
Surviving are her daughters Violette (Louis) Boucher, Viola (Regis) Kenny, Therese Perkison (Marcel), sons Charles (Maryline), Gerald (Lucie), Raymond and Eugene (Janelle). Also surviving are 13 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren.
Predeceasing her were her parents, her husband William "Bill" Perkison, daughter Victoria and her son Robert.
The funeral was held from Notre Dame de la Garde in Pointe a la Garde, PQ on February 16, 2006, officiated by Father LeBlanc, with interment in the parish cemetery in Pointe a la Garde in the spring. Pallbearers were the parish guards of Notre Dame des Neiges in Campbellton. Funeral arrangements were placed in the care of Maher's Funeral Home, Campbellton.
