Charles McDonald
The death of Charles McDonald of 168 Notre Dame St, Atholville, occurred at the Campbellton Regional Hospital on February 19, 2006 at the age of 70.
Born in Campbellton on July 5, 1935, he was the son of the late Edmund McDonald and the late Eveline Boudreau.
Surviving is his wife Annette McDonald (born Doucet), his daughter Nancy McDonald (Larry McIntyre) from Charlo, his son Danny (Nicole Carrier) from Moncton., his sisters: Joyce Bérubé from Campbellton, Gladys Cook from Carolina, his brothers: Roger McDonald from Alberta, Eddy McDonald from Sudbury, Ontario and his grandchildren Charles and Michel McDonald.
The funeral was held on February 21, 2006, at the Notre Dame de Lourdes Church, officiated by father Romeo Pelletier with interment in the Tide Head cemetery in the spring.
Funeral arrangements are in the care of Maher's Funeral Home, Campbellton
Eva (Gallant) Bujold
The death of Eva Gallant Bujold of St-Arthur, occurred at the Campbellton Regional Hospital on February 13, 2006, with her family by her side at the age of 81.
Born in Campbellton, she was the daughter of the late Matilda Anne Pineault and the late Frank Gallant.
She will be sadly missed by her beloved husband Patrick Bujold of St-Arthur which they just celebrated their 60th Wedding Anniversary. Eva was a special and exceptional mother to John Gallant (Karen) of Caledon, Ontario, and Allan Gallant (Margaret Leblanc) of Paris, France; and cherished grandmother of Natalie and Blaise; her sisters: Rita Blaquiere of Campbellton and Jacqueline Roy of Montreal, Qc, and her brother Ralph Gallant of Montreal, Qc. Many nieces, nephews, sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law and friends will fondly remember Eva.
She was predeceased by her parents, her sisters: Agnes and Eveline, her brothers: Henri and Arthur.
The funeral was held from Notre Dame de Fatima Church in St-Arthur on February 16, 2006, officiated by Father Emile Godin, with interment in the parish cemetery in the spring. Funeral arrangements were placed in the professional care of Savoie Funeral Home, Campbellton.
Hubert Joseph Isaac
The death of Hubert Joseph Isaac of Matapedia occurred at the CLSC Malauze in Matapedia on February 24, 2006.
Born in Listuguj QC on September 17, 1932, he was son of the late Abel Isaac and the late Nancy Marchand. Surviving is his sisters: Georgine Metallic of Listuguj, Angie Isaac of Listuguj, Diana Isaac of Listuguj, Theresa Isaac of Listuguj, his brothers: James (Violet) Isaac of Listuguj, Francis "Poncho" (Helene) Isaac of Listuguj, also many nieces and nephews.
He is predeceased by his parents Abel and Nancy, his brothers Hector and Ernest, his sisters Shirley, Verbine and Mary.
The funeral was held on February 25th 2006 at the St. Anne's Church in Listuguj, officiated by father Landry, with interment St. Anne's Parish Cemetery in the spring. The pallbearers were Sheldon Dedam, Roland Brisk, Rene Martin, Scott Martin, Maurice Brisk and Ricky Condo. Funeral arrangements are in the care of Maher's funeral Home, Campbellton
J. Laurent Gallant
The death of J. Laurent Gallant of 39C Duncan St., Campbellton, occurred at the Campbellton Regional Hospital on February 17, 2006.
Born in Atholville on April 6, 1945, he was the son of the late Camille Gallant and Berthe Caissie.
Gallant was retired from the Community College in Bathurst.
Surviving is his wife Berthe Caissie, his daughter Lyne Gallant (Vincent Chiasson) from Petit Rocher, his son Louis Gallant (Renée-Claude Roy) from Beresford, his sisters: Francoise (Gerry) Gallant from Atholville, Monique (Bruce Theroux) from Alberta, Pierrette Cloutier from Cowansville, QC and his 5 grandchildren: Julie, Sophie, Alexandre, Martin et Emelie and also many nieces and nephews.
The funeral was held at Notre Dame de Lourdes Church in Atholville on February 20, 2006, officiated by Rev. Romeo Morrison with the interment to follow at the local cemetery in the spring. Funeral arrangements are in the care of Maher's Funeral Home, Campbellton.
Lloyd G. LeBlanc
The death of Lloyd G. LeBlanc of Dalhousie occurred at the Campbellton Regional Hospital on February 25, 2006, at the age of 67.
Born in Balmoral, he was the son of the late Elie LeBlanc and the late Victoria Salesse.
Surviving is his wife Jeanette (Doucet) LeBlanc of Dalhousie, his sons: Paul (Micheline) LeBlanc of Eel River Crossing, Marc (Carmelle) LeBlanc of Eel River Crossing, his sisters: Lise Cormier (Maurice) of Dalhousie, Barbara Boudreau of Eel River Crossing, his brothers: Herby LeBlanc of Balmoral, Celeste LeBlanc (Rose Anna) of Balmoral, Jean Fidele LeBlanc (Aline) of Balmoral, his 3 grandchildren Roch, Melissa and Monica and several nieces and nephews.
The funeral was held on February 27, 2006 at the St. John the Baptist Church in Dalhousie, officiated by Rev. Y. Doiron, with interment in the Parish cemetery in the spring. Funeral arrangements are in the care of Maher's Funeral Home in Dalhousie.
Maurice Bujold
The death of Maurice Bujold of 42 Duncan St. of Campbellton occurred at the Campbellton Regional Hospital on February 22, 2006.
Born in Campbellton on August 21, 1935, he was the son of the late Alfred Bujold and the late Bernadette Bujold.
Surviving are his daughters Anne (Roland Leblanc) from Atholville, Joanne (Peter Lagace) from Atholville, his sons Fred (Diane Robert) Bujold from Campbellton, Valmond (Suzanne Tree) Bujold from Riverview, Denis (Nathalie Langlois) Bujold from Atholville, Alain (Nancy Ouellette) Bujold from Campbellton, Jacques (Chantale Gaudet) Bujold of Moncton, his brothers Lorenzo Bujold of St. Arthur, Normand Bujold of St. Arthur, Edouard Bujold of Campbellton, Romeo Bujold of Val D'Amour, his sister Simonne Rowe of St. Arthur, his half brothers Wilfred Bernard of St. Arthur, Edgar Bernard of Campbellton, Leo Bernard of St. Arthur, Yvon Bernard of St. Arthur, his half sister Yvonne Lagace of Atholville and also 17 grandchildren.
