Matthew 'Matty" J. Williamson
Passed away at the Campbellton Regional hospital on February 23, 2011, at the age of 92. Mr. Matthew 'Matty" J. Williamson of Escuminac, QC. Born in Escuminac on May 29, 1918, he was the son of the late Robert Williamson Sr., and the late Lulu Mann.
He leaves to mourn his sisters Ruby Court of Escuminac, QC and Isobel (Lionel) Albert of Val D'Amour, his brothers Vernon (Ruby) of Miguasha and Alvin (Louise) of Escuminc. Also survived by many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his brothers Calvin, Melvin and Robert Jr.
May Dale Lea Wilson
At the Campbellton Regional Hospital on Tuesday, February 15, 2011 at the age of 58, passed away Mrs. Dale Wilson of Malauze, wife of the late Donald Pitre and spouse of Ernest Guy Charest. Born in Campbellton and was the daughter of the late Lillian (Perron) and late Angus Wilson.
Besides her spouse, Ernest Guy, she will also be sadly misse by her sisters, Murphy Arseneault (Jean-Guy_ Allean Wilson-Lagace (Francois) and Julie Levesque (Roger); her brothers: Roger (Johanne), Roy (Patricia) and Romey (Monique), her sister-in-law Gladys and several nieces, nephews and friends, a special affection to her great niece Brianna Arsenault.
She was predeceased by her husband Donald her parents and a brother Wesley.
Placide Francoeur
The death of Placide Francoeur of Jacquet River occurred accidently Tuesday, February 22, 2011 in Charlo at the age of 56. Born in Lorne he was the son of the late Leander Francoeur and the late Emma (Godin).
He is survived by his children Adam Francoeur of Nash Creek, Tina Francoeur of BC., Tania Long (Colin Edwards) of Belledune, April Godin of Lorne, Jennifer Mazerolle (Chris) of Jacquet River, Jeremy Gray of Dalhousie, Michelle Godin of Lorne, Cynthia Francoeur (Sylvain) Campbellton, nine grandchildren as well as his brother Rene and sister Rita Murphy.
He was predeceased by his sister Theresa Carrier.
Hector Savoie
Passed away at the Campbellton Regional Hospital on February 22, 2011 at the age of 88, Mr. Hector Savoie of Dundee. Born in Dundee on January 12, 1923, he was the son of the late Pierre Savoie and the late Emma LeBlanc. He was a Knight of Columbus council 1946 and a veteran of the Canadian Armed Forces (Active duty) July 21, 1941 to December 20, 1945.
He leaves to mourn his companion Theresa Caissy of Campbellton, his daughters Lorraine (Richard Mercier) of Campbellton, Rita (Gerald Godin) of Petit Rocher, Louise (Roland Lagace) Athabasca, Alberta and Suzanne (Peter Babin) Dalhousie, his sons Roger (Sheila) Campbellton, Michel (Suzanne) Campbellton and Gerald (Anne) campbellton his sister May Philippe of Balmoral, his brother Allan Savoie Dundee. Also survived by his 13 grandchildren, 24 great-grandchildren, many nieces and nephews.
Pre-deceased by his wife Therese Levesque Savoie, his brothers Honore, Lucien, Francis and Romuald, his sisters Ida Bernard et Helene LeBlanc.
Pallbearers will be: Roger Savoie, Michel Savoie, Gerald Savoie and Francois Lagace.
