Alyuana Geldart
The family of Lyuna Geldart is saddened to announce her death on March 31, 2012 in Campbellton at the age of 84. Born in Campbellton on December 9, 1927, she was the daughter of the late Maynard Price and Lea (MacDougall).
Mom graduated in 1945 from the Girls High School in Bathurst, moved to Campbellton, and worked at the telephone office and later the Bank of Nova Scotia until after her marriage in 1949.
Over the years Mom was an active member of the Tide Head Home and School Association and also served as an elected member of the Board of School Trustees and for a time as Chairperson. After Dad's death in 1977, Mom became manager of Schriers' Dress Shop in Campbellton. When she passed away she was chairperson of the Committee of Stewards of the St Andrews United Church, Tide Head. Mom was also a lifetime member of Lady Alexander Chapter 24, Order of the Eastern Star. Over the years, she actively volunteered in numerous organizations including the Heart and Stroke Foundation, Cancer Society, Multiple Sclerosis Society, the Salvation Army, Meals on Wheels, and the Restigouche Caledonian Society.
Mom is survived by her brother Richard Price, and his daughters Leah and Stacy, her children Michael (Norma), Katherine (Marcel Lapierre), Susan (Bruce McPhail), Nancy (Stephen Gilbert), and Andy (Heather), grandchildren Evan and Nick (Michael), Ted (Katherine), Ashley and Colin (Susan), Angie, Robyn and Charles (Nancy), Hannah and Allison (Andy), great-grandchildren Vatica (Ted), Janie and Joseph (Angie), Jordyn and Elizabeth (Charles), many nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by her husband Eldridge and sister Alice.
Kay Taylor
Kay Taylor (nee Dawson) born in Campbellton, February 10, 1946, died in Fredericton March 25, 2012.
She is survived by Christy (husband Brian Cameron) of Vancouver and John (wife Sylvia) and grandsons Cameron and Graham of Ottawa.
She is survived by her siblings; Marian (David) Humphrey of Campbellton; Susan (Austin) Slater of Moncton; Dickie (Ginny Lane) Dawson of Moncton; Claire (Vern deceased) LeBoeuf of Hinton, Alberta; Joanie (Nolan - deceased) Boudreau of Moncton; Jackie (Laura) Dawson of Vancouver, B.C.; sister-in-law Sandrea (Glen) Abbott of Fredericton; and many nieces and nephews.
Kay was a widow from the age of 21. The pride of her life was her shildren; John a successful chef and restaurant owner in Ottawa and Christy a psychatrist in Vancouver.
She was an exceptional legal secretary working for Peter Dykeman (Campbellton) for years, for the Faculty of Law at the University of Alberta (Edmonton), eventually retiring from the Department of Justice in Fredericton.
Books, music, and cats, were her passions. She enjoyed lobster dinners, wine, good cocktails and time at home alone and with friends until the end.
An open house was held at her home in Fredericton on Saturday March 31, 2012.
Rolande Bujold
It is with deep sorrow that the family announces the death of Rolande Bujold. She died suddenly on March 28, 2012.
She leaves to mourn her husband Paul-Emile Bujold, C.A., her children Gisele of Grand Falls, Daniel, Martine of Nova Scotia, Pauline , Baudoin, Josee and Lucie of Dalhousie and Bruno deceased in 1975, her grandchildren Nadya, Danoucha, Genevieve, Paul, Pierre, Luc, Jean, Phillip, Harley, Jordan, Maxim, Alex, Sean, Sophie, Joey, Cloe, Fanie, Felix and Daniel, her great grandchildren along with her brother Edouard and her sister Line of Montreal.
