Alphonse LeBourque
1922 - 2008

At the Campbellton Regional Hospital on February 26, 2008, passed away Mr. Alphonse LeBourque at the age of 86 years. He was the son of the late Maxime LeBourque and late Delvina Parent.

He will be sadly missed by his children: Carl of British Columbia, Mike (Marie) of New Zealand and David (Lyne) of Cambpellton; his 3 grandchildren: Brian (Diane), Christine and Amanda; his sister Rita Poirier (Georges) of Dalhousie; his brother Johnny (Connie) of Atholville; his friend Geralda Comeau of Atholville. Also, many nieces, nephews, sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law and friends will sadly miss him.

He was predeceased by his first wife, Adeline Cumming, his 2nd wife, Anita Selesse, by his son, Richard, his parents and his sisters and brothers: Jeanne, Adele, Alex and Paul.

The funeral was held on February 28, 2008 at the Our Lady of Lourdes Church, Atholville, and celebrated by Father Romeo Morrison assisted by Father Valerie Haché with burial in the parish cemetery in the spring.

Veterans and legionnaire commorades held a legionnaire service prior to the funeral. Helen Frances Ferris

Passed away at the Campbellton Village Nursing Home on February 27, 2008 at the age of 89, Mrs. Helen Frances Ferris. Born in Loggieville, NB on April 29, 1918, she was the daughter of the late Thomas Johnston and the late Frances Duguay.

She leaves to mourn her daughter Nancy Wesson of Halifax and her son Tom (Sandra) Ferris of Moncton. Also survived by 2 grandchildren Corey Wesson of Calgary, AB and Travis Ferris of Toronto, many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her husband Fred Ferris, her brothers George Jonnston and Philip Johnston, her sisters Marion Johnston, Emma Hamilton, Bessie Cameron and Jean Payne.

The funeral service was held from Gateway Pentecostal Church Campbellton on Friday February 29th at 2pm. Pastor Ron McKee officiating. Interment at the Campbellton Rural Cemetery this spring. Funeral arrangements were in the care of Maher's Funeral Home, Campbellton.

PARKS, Jean A. (nee BORDEN)

Died peacefully at her residence in Brantford, Ontario on Friday, February 22, 2008, in her 86th year. She was born December 16, 1922 in Campbellton, NB to the late Grant and Edith (Purser) Borden. She was a loving wife to the late Hugh Parks (1984). Jean is survived by her sisters Ruth (Sam Chicki) Welland, Ont., Joan (Lyons) Campbellton, Jacqueline (McLaughlin) North York, Ont. and by two brothers, Earle, Comox, BC and Ralph (Jean) of Ottawa, Ont. She is predeceased by her sisters Joyce, Delha, Daisy and her brother Eric. She will be fondly remembered by her many nieces and nephews. The Funeral was conducted by the Rev. John Tweedie and held at the Hill and Robinson Funeral Home & Cremation Center. Interment at the Mont Hope Cemetery, Brantford, Ontario

Joyce McDavid

Joyce died at the Royal Victoria Hospital, Sunday, February 3, 2008 at the age of sixty-five, after a feisty and courageous battle with cancer. Born in Matapedia, Quebec, she was the beloved daughter of the late Kelly and Jean McDavid. Devoted mother of Kelly. Much loved sister of Daisy, Earleen, Rose, Lindsay, Martha, Bonnie and Wendy. Much adored aunt of many nieces and nephews. Will be held in the hearts of her many, many friends. Volunteer par excellence at Mile End Mission and valued colleague at Bancroft School, where her irreverence and compassion will be dearly missed. An honest spirit of strength, integrity and dedication, she never failed to warm our hearts, to bring us laughter and to remind us by her example, that today is the most important thing of all. To love ourselves and each other every day and to remember that caring comes through actions as well as words. Funeral service were held at Mile End Mission on Saturday, February 9, at 10:30 a.m. In lieu of flowers, donations to Mile End Mission, 99 Bernard West Montreal, H2T 2J9 would be greatly appreciated.

At Northumberland Hills Hospital on Saturday, February 23, 2008. Russell Hennigar formerly of Hastings in his 91st year. Beloved Husband of Alma Beatty. Dear father of Michael and his wife Sandy of Oshawa, Tauren Blaque and his wife of B.C, and Patricia Pridham and her husband Ian of Hastings. Grandpa will be sadly missed by Morgan, David, Scott, Charlaine and Tammy, his great grandchildren Roxanne, Crystal, Kayla, Chloe, Adyn, Hayley and Scott Jr. and his great great grandson Noah. Brother of Frank, Roy and the late Jim Hennigar. Loving uncle to several nieces and nephews. Resting at the Brett 'Hastings' Chapel 2:00 pm Tuesday until time of service at 5:00 pm. Rev. Roger Millar officiating. Final resting place York Cemetery in North York. If desired, donations may be made to the Alzheimer Society.
